- this sketchbook is the strathmore toned tan 9x12 inch for anyone wondering. my absolute fav rn, i had no idea how much i needed a tan sketchbook. i prob already told this story but i went to michaels to get this and they didnt have the 9x12 on the shelf so i thought they didnt have it but then i saw that thing sitting way up on the top of the shelves, you know where it's like "please ask an employee for assistance" why yall hiding them???? anyways i made bailey lift me up so i could grab it. in front of god and everyone.

The goal for my channel is to keep things simple, organic, and focused on triggers, because those are my favorite types of ASMR videos. I am a big fan of gentle tapping and scratching, so those are the style of my most frequent uploads, but I make other types of trigger videos as well. what is ASMR?
ASMR stands for "autonomous sensory meridian response," and is defined by wikipedia as a "tingling sensation that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine." ASMR can be triggered by audio or visual stimuli. everyone is different: some people get ASMR from certain sounds but not others, and also not everyone experiences ASMR! but even if you don't get that "tingling sensation" it can still be helpful to relax you or help you fall asleep.

i love watching people drawing, writing, anything that isn’t very loud. it gives me so much satisfaction and tingles and i just get so drowsy.

My dad died when I was 11, and one of the few things I remember doing with him was playing Pictionary with words that we just came up with on the spot. Neither of us were any good, but I always got the tingles when it was his turn to draw. Not much else does it for me, so I'm glad I could find videos like this one.

@@remy1771considering she's not showing a tablet of a screen with pictures, it's a large possibility that all she's drawing is from memory, she's not tapping on anything as well to change pics if she was using references
it makes me so happy to see someone draw so freely rather than perfecting every detail, which i’m prone to. When you do things loosely and instinctively like you do, the drawing has so much more life! It helps me see that even if eyes aren’t perfectly even or a line isn’t perfectly straight, the drawing can still turn out amazing. Thank you for the video and giving me some new techniques that i can try out in my own sketching!!! I also adore when you leave little comments, like about you not liking one of the sketches, I’d love if you did that more! Even if it’s just to say that the lips came out really well or you’re proud of the expression!

I usually got mad tingles when someone next to me started scribbling gently on something out of boredom. Id watch their movement with the pen and just enjoy the peace and asmr for as long as it held.
Also, I love Bitty her art! Very cool expressions. A mix of disney, anime etc, too.
And we look like psychopathe will doing that🤣 it was the same with my comrade in class, its triggers me so much when she was oppening her case and touchant her stuff, i usually watch her mouvement and zone out for a bit 🤣

as an artist, whenever i sketch sometimes i look crazy by putting my ear next to the paper bc the sound is satisfying LMAO. i’m not an asmr type person and i never get tingles, though i listen to some at night (i actually fell asleep listening to sketching)

Man this brings me back to middle school. In 4 of the classes ive ever got, I was always sat by this girl who always doodled though most of class. It was always relaxing to hear the sounds and occasionally watch.
Been pulling through a real bad mental funk for going on a year now and I’ve lost so much motivation when it comes to drawing, I couldn’t even bring myself to doodle. Clicked on this video because the art on the thumbnail was awesome and found myself watching for a few minutes before grabbing my own book and starting to sketch too. Haven’t been able to do this in such a long time, thank you so much.

I'm listening to this video in quiet awe right now, because this is the first time I've ever been able to listen to pencil sounds without getting extremely uncomfortable. autism and misophonia makes for a hell of a combo, but today I found ear plugs that help with it. Where pencil sounds were once a hard pass, now they're one of my more intense triggers. So now I can enjoy more wonderful videos like this! :D

I love these kinds of videos! When I couldn’t sleep as a young teen (before I found ASMR) I used to watch drawing videos or massage videos to help me fall asleep. Something so relaxing about the repetitive sounds and hand movements.

It just takes practice, and the drive to keep learning. I only started 4 years ago now and the level of which I've improved is crazy to see when I look back at older drawings. Just put aside time to freely sketch, look up ananotomy videos on RUclips, and try automatic drawing. Also always remember. Beauty is in the mind of the beholder. And you are usually your harshest critic.

this reminds me of when i used to doodle on the couch during summer and my cat, mittens(a lilac or lavender cream tortoiseshell with white paws) would sit with me and chew on the end of the pencil or the metal of the notebook. She ended up passing away from a cancer and she slept besides me until she passed. It was peaceful but very upsetting. This video reminds me of her, and it gives me a good feeling. I love this video, please continue your style and thank you for making it this quiet and long, it makes me tired. Im glad i found your channel. :D

Oh my goodness, your sketches are amazing. I'm always enthralled by watching artists that have so much experience working in so many different styles and have spent so much time learning how anatomy works and how to capture different facial expressions that they can just do beautiful sketches like this right out of their heads. I mostly just sketch, I've gotten into digital art recently, but I'm not that good at it yet, and I've sort of lost my passion for drawing lately for fear that I won't be able to improve, but watching your work really does inspire me to get back to it again, thanks for making these!

I envy your ability to wear chrome nail polish without it distracting you. If I have a shiny one on, it keeps catching my eye as my hand moves across the paper, my magpie brain goes “oooh shiny” and then I derail myself

this one time in class I somehow managed to focus on the sound of my friend drawing with either pencil or felt pen and it was the nicest thing I've heard in a long time and this for sure is like it

First memory of tingles was when my 6th grade art teacher was drawing something as a demonstration and watching her draw was mesmerizing. This definitely reminds me of that :)

i am a professional doodler and the sound of sketching on paper, especially paper with this kind of texture, is just my favorite thing ever. that and watching other people sketch, showing their art processes, especially when it’s traditional and not digital.
when I was in middle school, many years ago, I didnt realize i have really bad anxiety and just knew that it was all those bad, intense feelings and just feeling overwhelmed constantly. i had a class every day where this random kid would just sit next to me and sketch during the class and i always looked forward to it because it was really soothing and gave me good brain tingles. I didn't really figure out until a few weeks ago that asmr drawing videos are my favorite thing to wind down to now. so comforting and stress melting. thank you for making these!

I used to do this for the girls in prison. They’d turn the tv off to listen to the scratches and just asked why I was doing it. The sound is so lovely x
While I stopped drawing a long time ago because it became very unpleasant for me, as a perfectionist with self hatred, and a serious lack of patience, I still like watching and listening to people enjoy it :)

I have a playlist full of ASMR videos from various artists but i always come back to this one. There's nothing I dont love about it! It's perfect in every way, from the pen and pencil sounds, to those of the eraser(!), to the swipes to clear the page of crumbs. Not only that, you feel compelled to watch these wonderful sketches take form. Where other videos might "fake" it with busy work, the authenticy here is a big part of this one's charm. Bravo!

Thank you for that quiet masterpiece both in drawing and asmr) But I cannot stop wondering how it is ever possible to create any piece of writing or drawing with such an unthinkable pencil-grip like the one you have))) I tried and failed at the start. And I've seen quite a few pecil-grips, as I am a teacher
you are holding the pencil the wrong way
i know you get used to it already
but take it from a person that uses the pen for 75% of the time
by holding something it must leave some marks
your skin will automatically make a some kind of folds or changes it shape to have better grip on the pencil
for me it doesn’t matter because cmon I’m a man i don’t need the perfect looking hand or skin
i just need to finish my work
but for you it might be lil more important. idk just do what you gonna do 😂

Hola gracias por tu aportacion en mi opinion son solo bocetos para egercitar nuestros trazos no hay por que odiar un simple boceto esto mas bien nos da la oportunidad de ver y de atocriticarnps para no recaer en errores que son simplezas pue se pueden reparar ya sea con sombras o con algun detalles y o trasos que te lleve de un error a una verdadera obra. Por ejemplo un mal traso al cual le das la forma de una flor en el rostro del caballero y no seria malo. Recibe un cordial saludo con mucho respeto
