This unlocked a memory of me trying to teach people art when i was like 9 and advertising it by going up to my classmates with a drawing and saying 'Do you want to draw like this?' and one girl just went '💀 no.'
This is proof that “lack of talent” is not an excuse to avoid learning, train, have fun and you will improve💗

Your friends did great! My brother used to do this for me when we were kids, setting me challenges and giving me a score out of 10. It was a fun way to improve. I really liked Natalie's first attempt It was cute. Thano's improvement was wow.

The only known footage of Sam doing tradition art
currently stuck at home recovering from slight sunstroke so I've been practicing my drawing and this actually helped me a lot too, that first little diorama head you did was super helpful

Take pencil, something to draw on and draw Sam like his friends and compare your drawings to what his friends did. Thats SUPER fun and you can see what is off abt your drawing. Ive done that and Sam, i wish you could see how much progress have i made within those years that i'm drawing for.

It's kind of cool seeing their fist pieces and noticing the details they see in his face. E.g, it looks like they captured the same expression even though they drew him differently.
almost immediately i felt like i needed to draw and halfway in i spent a ridiculous amount of time trying to locate a pencil case and now here i am.. im now using a ruler to try and get the thirds right 😂😭

I have actually been practicing my realism a lot so I wanted to see if I could draw you, it turned out pretty good! 😄🎉
P.S. A really good tip when it comes to drawing, is to fist start with the basic shapes! It's helped me SO MUCH with more complex things, like when I try to draw animals! I've practiced drawing people more than anything and although that's good, I'm trying to stretch my skills to other things! Hope this helps!☺

Natalie also did something that's really important that I don't think you brought up - she picked up her drawing off the table every so often to check what it looks like from straight on, which is very important! I can't count the number of times that I've been drawing traditionally only to pick it up off the table and realize I drew it stretched out because of the angle I was looking at it from 😅🥲 Advice for the art babies: Every so often, pick up your paper!!
