Thank you for sharing. My journey has been similar with 3 DNC and many biopsys. After my last DNC and a couple of biopsy, i was found clear of the Complex Hyperplasia w/Atypia. Because I yet today continue to spot bleed and am now 64 yoa (situation ongoing sincelate 20s) , I am still take Mag 80 mg twice daily. My primary side effect is excessive hunger. My doc has refused to give me a hysterectomy because testing never shows any cancerous concerns. I've been on Megestrol for over 8 years. I'm very short and my weight has increased well over 200 lbs. My second concern is my very thin hair.
I have decided to stop taking it on my own. This is my first week taking only the morning 80 mgs. If my bleeding doesn't return to its prior extreme status, i will stop taking it completely!

I was diagnosed at age 37 with simple endometrial hyperplasia with atypia. It’s an ordeal treatment which consists of several biopsies done in the OR. I’ve finally done after taking megace for 6 months. But I was still being monitored closely since it’s not a guarantee it won’t return. My very good doctor really took good care of me and told me now she’ll monitor my breast. True enough after 2 years, I was diagnosed with stage 0 breast cancer. It’s like my worst fear of going through another round of treatment which involves surgery, radiation.

@RV36, 1 did not have the Mirena IUD
implanted. Something told me not to. And
      T'm glad I didn't.
I went to a fertility clinic around 8 months
after that doctor told me all that.
The fertility doctor started me on
Letrozole and progesterone to give me a
cycle every month which would shed the
      lining consistently, therefore shedding the
      precancer cells.
After a year of the letrozole and

I'm 39 and been bleeding heavily for the last year. Also been having difficulty with bowel and blader. So an NHS gynecologist on 10th Nov 2023, she prescribed provera and ordered ultrasound and MRI. I had been bleeding for 14 days when I had my ultrasound and endometrial thickness was 18.2mm. MRI results suggests mild adenomyosis as my uterus lining is 14mm thick and endometrium was 17mm. NHS gynecologist wrote a letter to say that she will see me in a couple of months. In the main time I went privately to sick a second opinion, had an urgent hysteroscopy a polyp was found and uterus is atroverteted retroflexed. Haven't had my biopsy results yet and thinking could I also have hyperplasia in top od adenomyosis and PCOS as well as endometriosis that I've always suspected.

My last biopsies keep coming back as Cancer not see but my doctor still wants to preform a Hysterectomy and remove my lymph nodes. Yesterday I had a Hysteroscopy with d&c hopefully with that we get a better understanding of what's really going on. I subscribed and I've been recording my journey just need to edit and upload lol. This could be a case of hormonal imbalance she said and also mentioned could lead to biopsy. I was in the process of IVF but the ultrasound showed polyps which turned out of the same sort as yours. My doctor chose for me to try hormonal IUD during the period of 6 months. Unfortunately it didn't help. The first biopsy, 3 months after the start, was clear but the second biopsy showed new EIN. So now my doctor changed the therapy and I'm on a Swedish analogue of Megace, 400mg. So it'll be another 6 months of waiting but I really want to be free from the complex hyperplasia with atypia and to be able to continue my IVF journey. I had a period book and logged in 258 days of being on a cycle. 4 D&C’s, 2 endo biopsy’s, prescribed both Medroxyprogesterone and tranexamic acid to possibly stop the bleeding but nothing helped until it finally stopped on its own. But my periods do come often and very irregularly. But just recently 11-29-23 I started a long flow again and 1-10-24 still going. After watching you talk about your symptoms; I brought it up to my gyny and she is confident that we can reverse this and bring my husband and I on a pregnancy journey.

Thank you for sharing your news. Firstly, here’s a big hug.
I was scared and overwhelmed at one stage as well. It is okay to feel the way you do. Let your feelings come. Listen to it, don’t fight it, don’t suppress it, don’t feed it, just let it come and let it go.
Happy to share some things I’ve learnt from my journey:
Take care of my mental, emotional, spiritual and physical health.
They are all connected. When they are all in at least a neutral state, it can help with overall well-ness.
      What this looks like:
      - Consume healthy food and everything in moderation
      - Cut back on fatty food, sugar, and anything that feels excessive
      - Start being more physical; move your body. I did HIIT 15 mins everyday also started yoga again, and started taking the stairs instead of the elevator, and walked as often as I could. It’s a lifestyle change
      - Also consumed positive information for my brain and heart. Stayed positive and realistic, read up on things that were helpful, and stayed away from unhelpful, toxic people, news, situations, cut down social media.
      - Religiously took the medication prescribed by my doctor
      - meditated daily, or at least tried to
      - cut down on exposure to stress, and put my well-being FIRST
As a result, I lost weight, felt better and stronger, more at ease, which I believe allowed my body to re-focus its energy towards healing and allowing the medication to do its job.
Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi, what a nice video :) I was diagnosed with simple hyperplasia without atypia. I too was put on progesterone. However, I am very concerned as I have been bleeding on the progesterone the entire time. Before taking it my period was missing and my endometrium was very thick, perhaps this is why. It has now reduced by 6mm but no further biopsy yet. Just wondering if you experienced any bleeding on your treatment. xx

It sounds like you and I are in the same boat. (Simple EH w/o A, put on 3 months Provera) However, the 14 days when I do take the Provera pills I stop bleeding, but as soon as I stop taking them I bleed horrendously for the whole 14 days without the pills. Like so, so much. My doctor seems so quick to push hysterectomy though and I don’t know why since the risk of cancer is so low and I’ll be menopausal in the somewhat near future (I’m 43). She said If I can do the 3 month cycle of Provera, then have a biopsy that shows the EH has reversed, then I can get an IUD to hold me over until menopause (since they work for 6-7 years now). What I don’t get is why, if I can’t tolerate the cyclical Provera without bleeding half to death every month, why not give me an IUD now? Or try something else? She’s making me feel like since I can’t do the 3 month treatment without bleeding so much I should give up and just schedule the hysterectomy. I thought this plan was my only option because I can’t get biopsied in 3 months with an iud in and would just have to remove it anyway to do the biopsy, but I’m hearing from other women that they got a biopsy with an iud in with no problem. Some others were offered an iud as first line treatment and biopsied again in 6 months. I don’t get why my doc seems in such a rush to steal my uterus. Lol.

Oh boy where do I begin it been a long and hetic road. It to be noted I only kept going mainly because most doctors where not available during the "you know what time."
I went to the doctor they had me do a DNC and said I had stage one uterus cancer and recommended I get surgery to remove my uterus asap.
I said I rather not do that for varity of reasons and chose the hormone treatment to see if we can push it into remission that way.
Which my doctor from the beginning low key breated me every visit, seemed very statue like when I tell her I felt better after the meds because it wasn't her standard go to procedure.(I also note I did see a second option doctor but he brushed me off and said get the surgery.)
I had several bios each showing a diffrent degrees of the cancer. (One time she said it was gone only the next to suddenly back.)
I had three MRIs sixish months apart from each other the first showed a small mass about 50% in the muscle (this was when I first started to take the meds) Now according to the MRI tech.the tumor in the second and thrid test was smaller and less in the muscle than previously which would assume means progress right?
Well my doctor was very back and forth, "Oh it looks good." then "Oh well it could have been a miss read sometimes MRI arent 100% accurate we can't actually determine what going on inside you."
There was also whole other slew of verbal mistreatment from some nurses, mistakes and even after fifteen months of treatment they asked who my doctor should they be sending my information to? Which has been on the paperwork I filled out countless times!
They also pushed me about getting an IUD every visit which I wasn't sure about because I heard bad things about them, When she talked to me that it was my only other choice than surgery at the beginning of this year I caved and got it.
Now I did my research it takes 6 months the IUD to show effects. It wasn't even three when with my last boi result she told me after 15 months she wasn't comfortable with treating me this way and get the surgery now.
By this time the illness that should not be named had died down in my area and new doctors of her type opened up. I stopped going to her and am switching to another soon.
Will update on the matter after that.

Other than your irregular bleeding, did you have any other symptoms? Also, how are you doing nowadays? Still cured?

But within the past 7 days, I was made aware that cinnamon may have been causing the constant bleeding. Indians call this a warm spice and woman are told to take when u r having a period cause it helps to reduce inflammation and with the pain
It also makes u bleed heavy. They say it clears u out better
