  • We're newbies at this EV thing, so before we head out on a longer road trip we thought it would be fun to take a shorter trip (about 250km round trip). We had a beautiful afternoon for the drive. www.google.com...
Speaking of road trips, we have a new song called Highway One. You can listen to it on Soundcloud here, / highway-one , or you can get it on the popular streaming services as of June 22, 2021. You can even buy it (radical idea, right?) on Apple Music. But whichever way you like, it could be a fun song for your summer road trip playlist.

On winters, how is it in the snow? Wife and I are considering this car for the Lower Mainland.

Don't know yet, we only got it on April 22. I expect it will be fine with front wheel drive, but I will definitely be switching to snow tires in the winter. It will be interesting to see how the regen works in snow. I expect with good tires it will be fine. In Vancouver, if you're staying local, you may find all seasons okay, but the Michelins are fairly low resistance I think, so might not be sticky enough if you get some snow. I have found from some, ahem, exciting experiences, that snow tires really help shorten your stopping distance in snow.

@@KarlHourigan Dang it! One of the first things you said was how new it is 😔
We’re in Langley and, after the snow storm in 2019, I will always put winters on; learnt my lesson the hard way.
I look forward to a winter review. Stay cool and safe!
