These look great! This will be a fun series, I love to see you bake! And if it fits in the series or strikes your fancy, I'd love to see a cupcake video sometime.

What can I use in place of corn syrup- we don't get corn syrup in India. Honey?

Would I be able to use peanut butter instead of butter? :) Really craving peanut butter cornflake bars!

Shelly M it’s a different function really. The butter provides 100% fat which melts to absorb the dry ingredients but peanut butter, whilst it has oil in it is mainly protein as it contains the whole nut, pulverised. What you could do is make the recipe and swirl in some soft smooth peanut butter before cooking.

You didn't say the measurements for each ingredients except the golden syrup

It’s all listed in the description, and thankfully in grams and tablespoons 👍. Baking a batch now, using maple syrup and a splash of vanilla.

Why have you said English? Last time I looked cornflakes were British.

Look again sunshine. Cornflakes are American. She does not say English cornflakes. The title says English flapjacks, if that is what you are referring to.
