My two favorite announcers are back in the booth, Scott great seeing you again in the booth, Ian also great to hear your point of view. Thanks for posting this match there is a lot to learn from these two fellas. I played a very defensive player yesterday and I think I played way too hard to win, and when I relaxed I played much better and had a lot of fun. I am having to rest today because my knees are swallowing up like two good year blimps! So it’s my day to watch tennis matches and learn how to play tennis better. Thank you for posting this video my dude. Scott you’re the Goat my dude!
I can't say enough firstly what a treat it is to be a member of this channel. First seeing this live and now the edited version. As if you're watching another game. Feelin' very privileged! What a great set. Sweet. Thank you RT and all involved. M
Wow - after seeing Rory’s huge serve (first and second!) I didn’t think this was going to be a close match…great example of how different styles/strategies can still compete with big hitters!
Chris is a superior player that came out super rusty. I shouldn't be broken often, but on a good day Chris can get my serves back at 50-60%. It's hard to tell how much kick his ground strokes have on camera, but they are deceivingly difficult to put away or play aggressively from, and then when he is ready he put's away those hard flat ground strokes. He is the player to emulate.
These guys are 4.5??!! Maybe, but the velocities are 5.0. Respect! We all get tight (and everyone gets tight on cam), but the way both players are recovering their composure is impressive. Can't wait for part 2. There's no loser in this matchup, not especially for we in the audience.
REAL TENNIS indeed! That tiebreak was almost too real. I can only dream of hitting the ball as well as these fellas do, but I completely relate to their struggles closing that set.
two worlds the serve and the backhand of rory. serve so great, but quite weak on the backhand. contact point too far behind, not in front of the body. not swinging but only pushing with upper body rotation. congrats to chris, kept his nerves
Wearing a green shirt when playing MEP? It may have been on purpose? Ian said "He doesn't have a drive, return of serve". Next point Ben drives the return and wins point.
Great surprise to have an RT match to watch. Chris & Rory are watchable players too.

I love a close match. Awesome effort lads. Thanks for the content RT. The game pressure is real
wake up babe, another REAL TENNIS video just dropped
I am sooooo glad RT is back!
So happy this is back, and that it's singles matches too! 🙊
These videos are the best

I felt that attempted dropshot by Rory in my bones.
Rory’s second serve is amazing
Thanks!
Chris is my GOAT love to see him getting some representation
Rory is hilarious lol
I've played doubles and faced Rory serving and it is not a fun place to be that's for sure. Great set.
Solid work
Good scrapy set by both players. Ya'll forgot to switch sides during tiebreak though.
I would like to be on this channel... fancy a UK v USA doubles and singles event?
wahooo

Agreed! Although this match is the worst my backhand has been since returning to tennis. Usually it's another weapon for me...a sad day. lol
@@rorytrainor2042 Considering you're not playing that much you're doing amazing Rory. Keep it up!
Imagine being this good only playing "once a week or so"
Hello tell angry old man it’s 5 o’clock somewhere😎
When chris serves, it looks like he has a censorship block instead of shorts. It’s a perfect black rectangle.

Rory’s racket looks extra extended. Great match.
It's a HEAD Gravity Pro. The only modification I have done is six strings of lead on the sides at the center of the top of the head.
Jesus Christ has nothing to do with you dropping your head on your first serve, and hitting balls into the net my dude!
