    It would be very helpful if you could please add all of the tools and brands you used, so that we can get similar stuff, since it looks like you have all of the appropriate tools, and the whole “plumbers kit” going… Stuff that many of us may not… but that would give us an idea of what tools we need. thanks

    Could you provide a list of tools necessary to complete the job?

    That lag screw may seem like it's spinning, but it may actually be really long. Mine was. I just held pressure away from the wall by putting two fingers behind the washer and kept unscrewing until it came out.

    Are we not supposed to stick the sink with vanity with something or is it just placed on top of it??

    Hi, thanks for the video. It's very helpful. I want to replace the pedestal sink in my powder room with a vanity. I'm looking at a 22 in. D x 30 in. W x 34.5 in. H vanity from Home Depot. Do you know if they supply lines sizes are standard? Is there something specific i have to measure to make sure the faucet fits? Thank you!

      The supply lines are mostly standard, unless you have an odd situation.

    Do we need plumbers tape to connect water supply lines since there is a rubber washer in the supply line connection?

    • @burrheadjr
      @burrheadjr  Год назад +1

      The plumbers tape doesn't need to create a seal in this case. Many times where I use plumbers tape, it usually is part of an application that connects to a washer anyways. The plumbers tape DOES help you to tighten up the connection to the rubber washer, and can help with the seal a bit if there is a little trickle. I am sure you can get away without it, as it was done like that for years, but if you got it, us it. If you gotta make a trip to the store anyways, grab some.

    How long did it take u to do this from start to finish? Removing the old one and installing this?

    • @burrheadjr
      @burrheadjr  2 года назад +1

      I don't remember exactly, it was all in the same day, and it can be tough for me to gauge, because I was also setting up cameras and filming while I did it. I would say that 3-4 hours sounds about right though, but be prepared for unexpected surprises that pop up in every individual case that push that time to take longer.

    If you were to do this for someone, what is the labor cost?

      I actually asked a plumber what he would charge, and he said it would have been $800.
