I agree, Renee! Generally, I am opposed to the over-the-top opulence of wealthy people looking for ways to spend money and impress. Often, the wealth is acquired by nothing more than investing, anyway. This woman, though, has REAL class ("elegace, comfort, and grace," as you put it). The items she cherishes are cherished for their intrinsic beauty and the sentiment they represent. She seems like a woman who simply considers herself to be very fortunate, has worked hard, and believes she is no "better" than anyone else for the items that she has. To me, true humility is REAL class. And she's a great artist, too!

Such a beautiful home, loved hearing Marie speak about the architecture, glad she appreciates the importance of the original features. Fascinating listening to her about the use of colours. Every item has a story an emotion or memory attached and is there because she loves them. I do love looking at interior designers homes but to be honest no matter how much money I had I would never employ someone to furnish my home. It seems the most redundant occupation I could imagine. Live with what you love, like Marie. Why would you want to be surrounded by meaningless items in your own home?. I hope you could maybe show us Marie's country home sometime.

I have watched quite a few of your Homeworthy segments, but this segment is my most favorite so far; so much so that I subscribed. I am unfortunately unfamiliar with this designer but listening to her describe her pieces was so inspiring. I grew up in a home with antiques, nothing this grand, but between the furniture, art and her porcelain designs, it was all so beautiful and interesting. She doesn't have a collection of 'stuff' from all famous other designers, she has a carefully curated, wonderful collection from family heirlooms, gifts, auctions and other found items to make such a colorful and luxurious home. It doesn't feel like a showroom, it definitely feels like a home. I loved the entire show and didn't want it to end. She is fabulous! This was so interesting and inspirational. Love Marie’s aesthetic of mixing colors, patterns and various elements of traditional with modern. A true artist and someone who appreciates beauty, nature and design. I will have to watch this again to absorb all the details. Thanks for presenting this!

Marie is a great teacher. I learned so much from her as I'm into creating pottery. I love that she's allowed to tell her story rather than the interviewer interrupting her as another channel does to designers and homeowners being interviewed. (I won't mention that channel's name but it starts with the letter "Q". That woman never shuts up and the tone in her voice grates on my nerves.)

What a charming tour of Marie Daâge’s apartment! She and her home are chic and totally authentic. Every piece tells a story. Mixing chairs costing 7 Euros a piece with priceless family pieces handed down from her beloved Grandmother creates a personal, layered, beautiful home that can’t be replicated by a design formula. It comes from the heart. What a sophisticated design sense and master of color. I laughed out loud when she described dragging bundles of branches up several flights of stairs with luggage & children in tow! Thank You for sharing this Parisian Apartment.

I love this presentation. Marie Daâge explains in great detail how she did it. I hope to purchase one of plates, if possible, next time I am in Paris.

Thank you Marie Daâge and Homeworthy for this wonderful tour. Marie, I love, love, LOVED getting a glimpse into your home and life! Everything: your style, work, your color sense, eloquence, the stories about your apartment, the furnishings, your map, your taste, and mixing the unexpected. Sublime! Also, how do you have 6 children? Favorite home tour ever.

I like that Marie kept her flat's traditional features. I hate when people try to erase historical and cultural architectural details. I enjoy Homeworthy 's content because they allow the homeowners time to explain in detail why they did things the way they did and how they feel about objects etc. . A lot of other channels spend less time on that and of course their segments are much shorter . Thank you Marie for showing us your home, and thank you Homeworthy for bring us great content. Fondly J.
