I love the idea of multiple family members living in the same building. The size of that apt. is tremendous and to think they have another one across the hall. Lucky ducks!
I'm not sure if Poland is the only country like that but it is very common in Poland. I grew up in Poland and in the building where I lived with my parents, my grandmother, father's sister, and two of my father's cousins lived in the same building.
I adored their home and esthetic, framed pieces on floors and animal themes. Truly divine. They have wonderful personalities, and their appreciation and humor about living near family is a refreshing perspective. More videos like this please!

I was born, raised, and returned to a small town in the Midwest. It is a very nice place to live. But New York has always been this magical land of Oz to me in my imagination. This apartment is beautifully curated! So many delightful storied treasures to admire! I can see the innovation in the design for elegant flawless living and entertaining. The mirrored kitchen is brilliant. I chuckled when he gave us a peek into his brimming foyer closet. My daughter lives in a New York apartment, and every time she has company, she throws all the extra stuff into what she calls “her closet of doom” in her foyer. Somehow it never gets emptied, it must be bottomless, but I can see the contents stored there are a lot more elegant than her laundry baskets, designer cat carriers, and broken vacuum. I loved the mirrored kitchen and how the mirrors reflect the light to make it brighter. Alex and Scott are an hospitable couple who feel that family is a major priority.
