- In this video I’m making the worlds “SMALLEST” fishing lure.
Some might say, there’s people out there making stuff way smaller. I mean there’s people making sculptures inside the eye of a needle.
But if they made a lure that small could they actually get it to function? Well… this one does.

I actually went ahead and made this out of a popcicle stick and man it works, great vid man!
It's amazing you got it to function 😳 I've made some small lures and I really get action out of them! They are a complete pain in the ass to get right and mine are like 3cm, hats off to you 🤟 bloody amazing work
It was very difficult to get it running correct. Even the line and the way I tied it on played a role
@@TreysArt absolutely 👍 I found it easier if I put a tiny snap swivel or a spit ring but the added weight made the lure nose heavy 🙄. Again amazing work mate 👌 only lure builders that have attempted to make small lures understand just how insanely hard it is to do ✌️

You call that a small lure? Lol. That's awesome, I especially loved the "I'm going to catch a minnow" part and cut away to the black and white creek with dramatic music, that was gold! Now I want to see you hook up and fight that minnow in slow mo, black and white with that music, that would make my year lol. 🙏 the slow No fighting a minnow was the plan but I couldn’t hook one. And I didn’t want to fake it lol
Very impressive! Good job. I'm going to recommend something to you. Use a size 24 - 28 fly hook. Used all the time by fly fishermen. Could even use yours on a fly rig, don't see why it wouldn't work. Love it!
You gotta have a lot of patience to make this tiny lure. 💪

what should I use to clear coat lures that size
That’s a good question. I just used a transparent base airbrush paint and put a light coat over it. I’m sure any kind of rattle can clear coat would work as well. Not sure epoxy would be the best route unless you not too worried about the weight or action being affected.
