Looks amazing! I definitely have my eyes on the Z95A 65". I mostly use my TV for gaming and Panasonic's commitment to colour accuracy on games and the direct scale for 1080p is so nice when playing retro games too.
Looks promising as Phills has given it best at CES , obviously the full review later on in the year will give us a better idea how it will stack up againt the rest and for especially me against the G4 .
Well at least has a different name,. In my country the 77 MZ2000 is selling quite cheap . So for those with less money with a darken room - it will have all the new chip. modes etc - Except the great MLA+ . So will still be a great TV , with most of the failings fixed using the old SOC .I suspect the G4 83" will not be cheap , except maybe USA .
Really hope the firetv OS works well on these TVs as the current MX800 models with it are terrible. Look forward to seeing them all on the 23rd as Panasonic UK HQ
On a second watch, the whole Panasonic presentation of the TV elite models feels backwards, the language used by the company representative for the customers couldn’t go beyond your wife and your kids… an embarrassment of intervention including the no reason given for the lack of MLA in the 77’’.
Good to see Panasonic and learn nothing about design still.... Dreadful is the only word I could use... Still disgusting speakers on the bottom, another company that is completely lost the plot...
Panasonic had a chance to actually change the design of the TV. Change the circular base (I know it's designed to withstand earthquakes in Japan) but change for Europe. Also change the ugly remote. They've also gone fire TV which is pointless and full of adverts and Amazon are moving away from it in a few years anyway...
Be great if they had an option for without the speaker system. In one room, I'd want a smaller TV "with" sound system, then in the home cinema room the large TV "without" sound system as I've already got that in the form of 5.2 surround.
Not sure why them and Samsung didn't put their top tech in 83". That's what I'm shopping for. So far, by default, LG is getting my money cause they are the only ones going big with their latest tech. Guess it makes the decision easy. 🤗
I own a Panasonic Oled myself but i always ask myself why don´t they bring out a TV with all the new goodies but without the Soundsystem??? I don´t need it i got a nice 5.1 soundsystem and it would surely reduce the price!!🤷♂
I agree. They did do this with the JZ and LZ series but decided not to do this anymore with the MZ series. Very dissapointed in that. But then agian, LG did the same thing where you only get MLA and stuff on their G-line and not with their C-line.
Like I said… never say never. With the global partnership with Amazon and their FireTV operating system replacing Panasonic’s MyHomeScreen in all 2024 Panasonic televisions.. There is a chance that the 2024 Panasonic television range will be sold exclusively in the Amazon Panasonic storefronts in markets such as North America, Canada and Australia. Watch this space I guess..
@@msjb1976 Little more complicated than that. You can't simply just start selling high end TVs via Amazon in those markets. You have to the ability to service the warranties for those TVs in those markets which means repair tech physically traveling to homes...etc. Theres a reason Panasonic pulled out of those markets in the first place(more expensive to operate). The 'partnership' is just Amazon paying to license the use of Fire TV instead of using their own operating system.
What is Dirk hinting…? Will Panasonic be re-entering markets such as North America and Australia again with their latest 2024 televisions…? 🙏 At 4:10 Phil Hinton (AVForums Editor): “And model numbers, we’ve gone from MZ2000 to the Z95, what was the reasoning behind that?” Dirk Schulze (European Senior Manager Marketing TV Panasonic) “Yeah, actually we have new global model codes, so Panasonic is entering also different markets and for all different markets and different specifications sometimes we need different cables therefore we need different model numbers”.
Very important question incoming: I returned my MZ2000 because sound issues regarding buzzing bass. I had it connected to a subwoofer and the issue was still there. I didn’t had this issue with my previous JZ2000. It seems to be an issue since the LZ series. Will this be fixed in the Z95A series? Or will it have the same build-in speakers and chassis?
Not interested - I won’t top tech in larger size than 65”. One customer lost and I own Panasonic and I am very happy but my imminent purchase will now be another brand
@@RobertK1993 I don’t want to mount a TV on the wall. It will stand on a piece of furniture; why would I want to push the screen and additional 20cm back from where I sit as that reduces immersion and reduces the effect of a larger screen. Panasonic was my go to (following pioneer pulling out) but now they aware no longer a consideration with the best tech not being put into their larger screen offering (I.e. >75 inch). I like the speaker at the button. The bigger the better with speakers, it is a law. Also, you gain some hight that is kind of needed if your TV is sitting on a short base. I am looking for the best possible quality in picture and sound and Panasonic represents that. If one wants a good looking furniture, can look somewhere else. But for my taste, this looks FABULOUS!

Panasonic are so dissapointing to me. LG having MLA in both the 77 and 83 and Panasonic don't even put it in the 77. Gimping one screen size like that isn't great. Plus that horrible speaker at the bottom looking like an eyesore. For a company so obsessed with showing movies as the director intended they do make some strange decisions.
Panasonic needs to sell their televisions back in Australia! They still sell them in New Zealand, go figure!

I'd never consider one because of that larger speaker bar at the bottom.

Panasonics hands are tied on this because LG Display is the manufacturer of these panels, not Panasonic. They get their panels from LG.
