I hate this fake news about Maddens gushing love for Favre . Favre earned all the praise he got from all the TV announcers who loved to watch him play . Madden was a Cowboys fan and covered them with Pat Summerall for a long long time not a Packers fan . Madden talked up Favre when he covered his games but so did every announcer on tV and radio because he was the greatest QB of that era even if other modern on air personalities of today don't want to say that . Favre was won more games than anyone else who played during his time as a Packers QB and after . He was great to anyone who watched ! @Oliver McCall As a leader it certainly makes you a more viable QB. All of the greats separate themselves from those like Marino and Rodgers by their ability to lead. A big part of leadership is inspiration. Rodgers is more consistent than Favre, but if I am playing a team statistically better than my team I want Favre at the helm because he will inspire the others to play above their skill set. Plus his willingness to take risks will give me a chance.

Everyone brags on Brady but the pats have always had the best o-line. Troy Aikmen retired with 10 concussions, & so did Steve Young. Tom Brady's career would've lasted more than 9 years if he would've played in the eighties.
