The only time I've ever gotten choked up over sports was the 2007 Superbowl. It kills me that Moss didn't stick with Brady. Seeing two of the greatest athletes at their positions play on the same team was magical.
the "dark side" of Randy surfaced and Belichick showed him the door. no doubt..Brady/Moss together through their careers? they'd be renaming the Lombardi Trophy, or printing money with their pictures on it
Almost every one of these plays Moss was double teamed, tripled teamed, and alot of bad throws also. That just goes to show you Moss's greatness!
I really miss this guy, his playmaking was just incredible.
Man his catch radius was something different, just put the ball near him and you're good
And he didn't even need it because he was so good at route running and boxing people out. Even in triple coverage he finds a way to have the ball hit him in the chest, it's insane.
Exactly what he told Culpepper. In practice Randy and Chris would would draw a big circle in the air and say "Just get it somewhere in there". They would always catch everything one - handed in practice to get better at it.

Truly the freak. Such a unique blend of extreme qualities. You just feel joy and awe watching him play.
Moss was on a different wavelength...dude was wild
As much as I wasn’t a fan of him, he’s one of the 3 best receivers I’ve ever seen play. Every one of these plays was double covered, a jump ball, an in-close end zone fade or a matchup between him and a top CB in the NFL. He toasted them all. He got every jump ball and could make any catch, but what made him impossible to cover besides the fact that he was 6-4 was his 4.25 40 (yes, that was his combine time). That’s a full 0.1 faster than just about any corner in the league, and on top of that, he could break tackles and accelerate after the catch in addition to running routes. There was literally almost no way to cover him
Is one of a few players that didn't needed a ring to be called CHAMPION!!...he definitely played with his heart on every team he play....
