Nice video man. Def something a little different about you in this video, looks like you're really developing into a physician here! All the best next year and with the match dude!
I started PA school a few months ago and I think I want to go into Emergency Medicine. Were there PA's employed at the hospital in which you did your ED rotations at? Are you hoping to do a residency solely in Emergency Medicine or a combined residency?
4th year starts in July. You take your second set of boards between 3rd and 4th year. Most of 4th year is done through an application portal called VSLO or your school will have some rotations set up for you. Required rotations are set by your school. My school only requires 1 emergency medicine rotation. The rest of the year is electives.
You’re right. I made a couple on COMLEX level 1 but mostly talked about the DO stuff. I honestly don’t remember STEP 1 a ton so I think it wouldn’t be very valuable. Best advice is how to study for step 1 and the resources I used which I think I mention in those other videos.
@@ERdoctorMike I thought you would show the Journey because you took some more time for its preparation just feels like you kinda jumped over that story line I would have liked to hear your thoughts after even though I know you have a previous video on resources. Anyways I thought the video would come out
well done! glad youve been well
Thanks!
glad you made a video knowing that you are still alive.
Haha it’s been awhile

Great review if your year Michael! Keep up the great work!
Thanks Cathy!
ER, really the easiest specialty. If you don’t know how to treat, send them to other specialties, or admit to internists.

Lots of PAs in the ER. Ya residency only in ER.
What did you think of the shelves?
The shelf exams are fairly easy. Don’t require much studying, however if you want to honor them then they do require a good amount of studying.
When does your fourth year start and how is that set up? What rotations are required for your fourth year?

You never made a post step 1 video

No. You can as an elective.
