Attending here. Solid advice and quality content as usual. Another tip I have to medical students is don’t take things personally; we aren’t scrutinizing you as much as you think we are. I remember as an MS3 how self conscious I used to be about what residents and attendings thought of my performance. Now as an attending, I’m way too focused on trying to make it through my clinic list on time and I couldn’t give less of a rat’s ass if you don’t know the details of a patient’s surgical history. I just want medical students to have a good attitude and drive to learn. Clerkship is brutal and dehumanizing at times and we’ve all been there.

What an uplifting video. A part 2 would be wonderful.
If in it you can talk better about how to talk that can help in x ,y ,z without seeming to be forcing to please.
Another thing I'd like to know is how you think it's best to approach to ask for feedback without getting in the way of the residents. For example feedback with my notes...
I want to be proactive without being inconvenient.,sometimes i feel insecure that asking for feedback will delay residents or show insecurity when you haven't known the residents for a long time.
Thank you so much Erin you are enlightened!
