    I’m currently an undergrad finishing my first semester in college as a biology major. I played football and managed all As and one B+. What are some tips you can give me to improve my study habits moving forward and to excel even more? You’re a huge inspiration to me and I admire all of your hard work!

      Congrats on your success so far! In terms of continuing to improve, I’d recommend learning about and implementing evidence based strategies like active recall and spaced repetition, and then creating a workspace using a tool like Notion that can keep you organized. I am leading a 30-day challenge at the start of the new year where we will go through all of these things as a group if you’re interested! Here is the link to learn more:

    Thanks for the video! I am finishing up M2 and will start 3rd year clerkships in the Spring, and I was wondering if you were doing Aways through September, when did you work on your ERAS application?

      Hey! Good luck on starting clerkships! Great question!
      Students usually work through ERAS during rotations. So it’s very helpful if you keep an updated CV and draft out a personal statement early. Then it’s just plug and chug and editing. I drafted my personal statement in January during a break I had, then I did editing and finished completing my ERAS in July and August.

    your an cool dude and congrats on training to be dr i hope after my young passing from cancer that when its time im going make an good cadaver for anatomy education as iv agreed to body donation as feel med students need us body donors to learn well ?

      @@EvolvingMedic bless thanks medical students are most welcome to my body after my death as i hope to help them learn anatomy from my body as sadly I'm going pass from an stage 4 glioma brain stem tumour that's sadly advanced stage with sum cancer spread to other regions of my body so i hope even tho I'm young male med students will beable to fully utilize the gift of my body in the cadaver lab as hope to teach much to them after my passing ?

      @@EvolvingMedic when you go to Japan visit the temple, cherry blossoms and go into the country areas where the native live. Avoid the tourist area that are Americanized.

      About 280 on step 1 and about 320 on step 2. There’s not a number of failed attempts that lead to you getting dismissed, but you should only plan to take the exams once. They’re super expensive!

      Not too much in the second half of 4th year! The first half you have sub-internships which are arguably the most important blocks in med school. But after interviews, most students don’t have much studying to do! So you can pack up your Anki! Lol
