    The plants are looking nice after the nutrient change, & I wish you luck on all the seeds you actually get out of these crossed peppers!😊😊

      Yeah the flora series really have always been great to me. Don’t fix if it ain’t broken I guess.

    It’s totally not leaf burn or a sign of nutrient deficiencies. Fish pepper plants are variegated. Generally the stronger the light source, the more variegation will show up in the leaves. They don’t photosynthesize in the white parts so that might have something to do with why that is. When it makes fruit they will often show variegation on the fruits too. They are a really cool striped pepper until they ripen to solid red. You’ll love them. Did you got the seeds from Dulce?
    Your plants in the tent look like a million bucks now! The orchids flower stalks are incredible too. I wish like crazy I had a place I could grow them. We just aren’t humid enough here.
    Congratulations again for your new baby! They’re as much work as they are wonderful… of course you know that though.

      Thank you so much!!! Very interesting pepper plant indeed. I bought them online. I’m excited about those tent plants, I’m gonna just continue with the flora series nutrients. If it ain’t broke don’t fix it I guess.
      Yeah the baby sure takes my time up but she’s totally worth the effort. Hope to start my new grow series sometime in March. Looking forward to a new season.

    My brother gave me some wild chiltepin seeds he collected in central Texas, and found your channel when looking for info on germinating them. Have you tried using gibberellic acid to aid in germination? I'm testing GA3 vs the bleach water soak in these. I may also try feeding them to ducks to see if that gets them to germinate more quickly once I get some peppers to play with.

      Great idea to test. I’d like to know how that works out. I guess I liked to think that my videos would be using things around the house as much as possible so bleach worked well. I bet that GA does do real well in speeding them up. Share your results.

      @@thepepperguy6608 I have had 4 GA3 treated seedlings appear, but also 2 of the bleach soaked seeds and my first control seedling appeared this morning. It seems to make a little difference but these seeds seem to be doing fine on their own.

      @@acykat2069 interesting. Where did you get the seeds?

      @@thepepperguy6608 my brother gave them to me, apparently they came from plants that came up in his yard. Central Texas.

    I was thinking about trying a new hydroponic nutrient this year. 🤔 Dynagrow was one I was looking into as well as the flora series. What's your thoughts of maxigrow and bloom?

    • @thepepperguy6608
      @thepepperguy6608  2 года назад +1

      Maxigro is actually one I wanted to try sometime as well. I really love the flora series by general hydroponics so another product by them I would assume would do well.
      I just haven’t been that pleased with dynagro. The flora series is more work mixing all 3 but man it really makes gorgeous looking plants from seedlings to maturity. Good luck. Let me know how it goes if you choose maxigro.
