- Do you want that TwisterOS experience on arm64 Manjaro? Well it is now possible! Thanks to some awesome work, there's now a script to turn Manjaro XFCE into TwisterOS.

I love twister. I hope they bring out there own 64 bit version.
TwisterOS is great! I mean some of these guys are heavily connected with the original Twister team, so I wouldn't consider this some other OS. Yeah, there has been work on a 64 Bit version for Raspberry Pi OS, made by monka (the guy who worked on this one). Here's a video made by RUclipsr leepspvideo about it:

Twister OS ist ein super tolles Programm für den Raspberry Pi4.
I frankly like Manjaro KDE/GNOME's default look better and didnt really need twisterUI.
But having an option is always good!

Followed your guide all the way to 3:30, but then the keyboard stopped working and couldnt do anything, then my new m.2 drive got corrupted and cant format it
did you notice the tearing window when dragging them?😃 I’ve got the same issue on many desktops (running on my rpi)and I’m wondering how to fix this :)
Yeah.. it seems to be a common issue on the Pi4. I'm not really sure how to fix it, it might be due to something with the graphics?
@@Lukes-Tech yeah maybe and btw I just tried Ubuntu desktop (jammy jellyfish daily build) on my rpi4 2g and I was shocked the windows became soooooo smooth (but the launch pad(idk what it call on gnome but it is almost the same as the launch pad on macOS and it’s still uhhh……really bad and so do the web browsers and many other animations besides the windows dragging , but there’s a huge improvement on the windows dragging, no tearing , almost 60fps all the time, you should have a try😃😃😃

Can you do a tutorial for this with the Raspberry Pi 5? I've gathered you can use Twister UI as long as you have Manjaro XFCE
Have you had an opportunity to see how Chrome or Firefox perform especially on RUclips
As far as I can remember, Manjaro has respectable performance in those areas so I’d say it should perform fairly well. (For the Pi4’s standards)

Why not just use TwisterOS? Also overclock as high as you can go.
Some people prefer or enjoy Arch based distros :)
Yeah overclocking might be helpful.
@@Lukes-Tech I can say for sure. The overclocking is necessary. 4 Pi 4 B's overclocked as fast as each one can go since new. A copy of Twister OS for each. Official power supplies are needed to get the most overclock. 5.2 Volts. Other power supplies come up short. Samsung BAR flash, OR the fit model. 128GB because they run 400mb/s. The front of the packaging says what they run. Some older ones were only 300 mb/s. THEN you'll be able to really enjoy a Pi4.
So far as Linux goes, actual Twister OS does everything. Very hard to find something it can't do. The only thing I use other than that is Android for GooglePlay. Instead of all these distros that do the same thing... I'd like to see Android IN Twister OS as an App/front end, and install apps on it, run it in a window. The App that's already there only lets you partially use an Android device if you plug it in. Dual screen, with the option to make one Android. It can be done. All this other distro nonsense is just changing the desktop background. :-D
