Is Osnappar another name for Ashurbanipal? If so he is mentioned in the bible once in Ezra 4:10 and the rest of the nations whom the great and famous Osnappar deported and settled in the cities of Samaria and in the rest of the province Beyond the River.

Ashurbanipal means ash-urbani-pal, Ash is one, urbani means a place the same urbanization, pal means the owner. It turns out the explanation be the sole owner of the cities.

I just want to clarify, that Ashurbanipal, king of Assyrian Empire was in the city of Mousil , still called Naynawa in Iraq, and not in Sirya , and the ruins of that civilisation still exists in northern Iraq.so
Please don’t distort the histroy of Ancient civilisation of Iraq 🇮🇶.

Agree, my husband is from Iraq. I was also there several times. I think he did a great job on this, a couple errors, but to distort, is not his intentiona. Cheers😎

Catholics practiced child sacrifice for centuries, we just don't call it that, because they and their Protestant offshoots wrote the occidental history books and never would have painted themselves in such a negative light.

Classical West European terms that were mere modern inventions and have no basis in history needs to be removed.
    Terms like:
Mesopotamia (Greek = middle of rivers)
Byzantine = Rome Empire of the East. British used the name of the province of Byzantine where Constantinople was situated as name of the whole Empire.
Berber people = an "ethnic" group that only exist in Western books. The term is Greek meaning Barbarian applied on native African tribes but has since been usurped by Mauritanians (Amazigh).
Nubian "people" = Kushites/Egyptians. This term is used today to label dark skinned descendants of ancient Egyptians in southern Egypt. With the Arabs bestowed the term 'Egyptian'.
Nubia is a name of a region. It is not a name of a people or kingdom.
Sub-Saharan African = native Africans. The term was invented by the French in 1978 to denote socio-economic differences between Arab speaking Mediterrenian African societies, and the rest of Africa. Now, it is used to reduce native Africans into a sub entity in their own continent.
