Great bit of video Steve, as usual ! Good to relive it and see it all again. Looking forward to Part 2. Now I know after all these years why these bikes have such lonnnnnng saddles ! What a super day. If anyone is thinking about it then just give it a go and I can tell you it will be fab !
Went there last week, (wed) and my body still aches 😂😂 really good day though, plus it was nice a (mostly) dry so could open them up on the straights a fair bit
@701Adventures yeah, I had an unrestricted 250, as did the whole group, 1 guy tried a 450 for the last 30 mins,he said it was nice, but too much, unless you're a pro 😅
Nice one Steve. Judging only by what it looks like through your camera lenses and assuming they’re the same as normal. I’d say you looked like you normally travel a bit quicker. Like your level was easily up to or above the guys in front of you. If so that should make you feel good and give you confidence. What were the main things you learned. New or like you say bad habits you’ve picked up?
Duncan, yes the pace was slow but I think it was intentionally slow to allow us to focus on technique. Personally what I gained from it was confidence, seeing how others ride and dare I say it, realising maybe I'm not as bad as I thought. There was a good mixture of attendees, including some who had never ridden off road before. They taught us a lot about weighting the pegs correctly, posture, both when seated and stood up, I'd been sitting way too far back like I was still on my GS. We rode some trails which due to their gradients I probably wouldn't have attempted had I been on my own. The staff were excellent, really patient and keen to give us the best experience possible even with the crap weather 👍

Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it 👍
Very good, and nice trails...looking forward to part 2
Thanks, the afternoons session in part 2 was much more technical.

Did you use the 250’s or the 450’s? I stuck to the 250’s as they said the 450’s would rip our arms out of their sockets! 😂

@@crayzeewhorse yeah I'd have to agree with that 👍
