Listening to the Lavender Town theme in this version always gets me emotion, especially today. My grandfather passed away last night, and listening to that song got me really teared up. This soundtrack in its purest form is beautiful and amazing, thank you to the people who put this together.

And yet the music isn’t creepy or eerie, just sad. As if it represents that Cinnabar Island can be rebuilt, but the town that once existed, the one you visited, is buried and gone for good.

GB Sounds doesn’t use samples or soundfonts at all. The DS has a PSG so GB Sounds music is generated using that. There’s no point including it here since it can’t be remastered and already has an official release.
