@@thevenom2731 I used to, during Gen 6 and 7. Great times. Although, a lot has happened in a year, with pokemon, and I kinda just dislike pokemon as a whole (aside from Blunder and friends).
So many good memories of this game as a kid. I remember I begged my mom for the version with the Poké-walker and soon enough I lost the darn thing. It's just something about good memories we had as kids. It's a good feeling. Thank you for bringing these to light. You truly are doing great things.
Okay seriously, this might be my most watched video in 2022. Bet. This sounds how my memory of it is, I dare not crack a nds to find out how those poor speakers actually carried it out. I remember the bassiness of the music actually kinda lightly vibrated (?) the console, it was nice
Nintendo better be taking notes. THIS is how you release an OST. With effort, blood, sweat and tears. This sounds SO damn crisp. THANK YOU. I gotta go dig out my ipod and get this on it. I don't think those noisy fireworks can measure up to this release.
Remember the dread that was the DKC 2 OST Official Release? Yeeaahhhh. it was being recorded off an SNES instead of uncompressed HQ goodness. Thank Jammin' Sam Miller for bringing it to light.
Words can't explain how happy it makes me that this is consistently being worked on. I am so grateful to this team for putting so much time and effort into this. Thank you so much!
Damn, Cianwood City (1:25:59) sounds amazing . Reminds me a bit of an anime ending, melody wise. And the instrumentation gives it a lofi hip hop vibe. Honestly, you'd just have to add some drums and it would fit right on the Poké & Chill album by Mikel.
finally, the soundtrack remastered to match the sound font used in Pokemon Black and white! I've been waiting for this for so darn long that I will listen to this all the time!
if they ever decide to release another Johto remake, i wish they would just do something like this. the sample choices for HGSS/Gen 5 were perfect, and with uncompressed samples they sound great.
Oh wow, all of these songs are so fun to listen to. Even the ones that I didn't particularly like in the original quality. What a blessing for the ears
Oh hell yeah, muh 'stalgia. I questioned a lot of HGSS's choices in how they remixed GSC's soundtrack, but hearing these tracks in this clarity is a real treat nonetheless. Magnificent.
It's starting with the opening and it directly sounds very well, great job all of you. 👍🏻 I hope we could also have someday Newer Mario DS (a romhack), I heard it has its soundfont... 👀

One day, emulators will advance to the point where they can decode the audio samples and reencode them in enhanced quality, in real time. Won't that be nice?
I have wondered myself if emulators could play the game with this music quality, makes me wonder if it's possible to replace the SDAT from the original game with the one provided in the description though I'm assuming it'd just crash
The music format on the DS is very similar to MIDI, in fact I think some DS titles are directly using General MIDI standards like Pokemon Diamond, Pearl and Platinum are mostly General MIDI standard so it's likely a limitation on the format to not tax the DS so much with very complex effects
its just like the original but a little bit worser flow but with no awful static and can finally here that little precussion instrument they use in the back sometimes in the slow part
I remember walking into GameStop coincidentally upon the game's release and just randomly deciding to walk out with it. Wasn't even planned.
Although I don't play Pokemon anymore, it's always nice to hear some crisp tunes.
You should play Pokemon... Now!
What the other guy said! Play Pokémon now!

Listening to 1:04:25 and 1:08:02 is the best way to start this year.
this screams "LIFE IS AMAZING"

i must've put three of those things through the laundry

The definitive soundtrack to the definitive games. Fitting.
37:40 Hyuck-hyuck-kyuck! I remember you! You got me good at our hideout!
Hyuck-hyuck-hyuck! That was a blast! I'll remember you!

You are a king. Happy new year. Thank you, thank you. This is absolutely gorgeous work.

You guys are amazing. Thank you for this.
Here from RetroRGB's post. Ice Path sounds so damn good, you guys are doing God's work.
HOLY CANNOLI NO WAY!! I WASN'T EXPECTING MORE TRACKS!!
I JUST FOUND THIS NOW PRAYING HO-OH'S THEME WAS INCLUDED AND FUCKING YESSSSSSS
if they ever decide to release another Johto remake, i wish they would just do something like this. the sample choices for HGSS/Gen 5 were perfect, and with uncompressed samples they sound great.
Azalea Town Theme always hit me hard in the deepest place in my heart.
New Bark Town sounds so amazing. Thank you!
What a great gift to end the year, keep up the effort guys 😉
Damn! This was worth the wait; awesome stuff here.
With this somewhat being my childhood pokemon game, this is gonna be really cool to listen to.
YES I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS ONE, LOVE YOU BRICKSTER
the bass is so clear and crisp... i love this.
Silver's battle theme sounds so crisp now 🙌
Oh my god, hard to say a better way to start the new year
IT IS HERE
Those bells... When I played through this game to get ribbons, the bells rang on and on... and still do.
I was really looking forward to this one. It has my favorite pokémon music of all time: azalea town
Ice Path is S O B A S S Y
YEAH THIS IS IT
Oh wow, all of these songs are so fun to listen to. Even the ones that I didn't particularly like in the original quality. What a blessing for the ears
Today is a good day
22:21 I'm not a trainer. But if you look one in the eyes prepare to battle.
This is so gorgeous
Azalea Town sounds better than ever, which was a tall order.
what a nice end of the year gift
23:43 My forever favourite track from Gold & Silver

Can I have an Extended Version of Burned Tower please? I love that OST.
34:53 is 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Could you please do 30 minute versions of "Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection" and "Trainers Eyes Meet (Girl 1)" ?
Well now it just sounds like Black and White.
(that's a good thing)

Church of Kondo my heroes.
3:06 ...So this is the famous Elm Pokémon Lab...
...What are you staring at?
👞🍑
nice
Heck yeah 55:06
Weird how some instruments sounds awful like some others sound perfect
Sound effects and fade effects are still problematic though

its time to delete my gamerip-copy of this soundtrack
Here for 1:04:25
