Spent nearly £200.00 on a Nerrad tappex kit, 6 months ago.
Useful for accessing hard to get to nuts. Especially on deep sinks and sinks dressed up, tap(s) prefitted and then dropped into the worktop. Or bath taps where the taps are really hard to get to.
Still haven't used it.

When connecting the nuts for the water pipes, would you ever use anything such as plumbers mate or similar on the threads?
