EXCELLENT presentation!! No nonsense. Just clear, precise instructions. Absolutely the best I've seen.
Absolutely the BEST tutorial for doing this on RUclips! Thanks!
Your video gave me the confidence to do this job at my brother's house tomorrow. I'm fairly handy but I admit I never did a complete under a sink pipe replacement like this before. I'll let you know how it goes and I'll be sure to check for leaks.
How did it go.
This was an excellent tutorial. You did a great job of explaining everything.
Thank you so much, because of this video, a lot of plumbers are going to lose business.
Yes because they are so expensive when you can do it yourself.
Nicely explained, you couldn't be any clearer. Thanks!
Very good presentation of how to assemble a two part kitchen waste line
Thank you. Just replaced my strainer and it’s working great!
My only question is why did you use ABS instead of PVC?
Awesome everyman video... you're an inspiration Dan... Great work...
Very easy to follow through. Great explanation for drain pitch and cut to size pipes.
Amazing! Makes me want to listen to my Dad and become a plumber. Nice work!
Beautifully illustrated...)
Saved me a boatload of 💵 thank you!
Just started watching your videos but wow awesome thank you
Outstanding video on the to do this job properly. Thanks
Thanks 🙏
Great video, straight forward and good advise👍🏼
Thanks 😊
Very details instruction! Thanks!!
I see 2 water valves, one set lower and one upper, I assume the upper ones are for the sink (hot and cold), but the lower ones? I'm assuming again that the supply is from the right in the copper tube is cold and the left one looks like hot water going to the DW?
Great video. Thank you.
That's a wonderful video. Any suggestions what to do for the replacement of a two bowl sink to one bowl sink. Thanks
Nice job. I was a little surprised that you intentionally sloped the horizontal pipe by just cocking it within the slip-joint. I've always assumed I wanted my slip-joints to be at good straight-in angles to avoid leaks, and I accomplish slopes with the rotation of pipes within the plumbing layout.
Wow! you make it so easy, I have 2 days trying to figure out how to fix my leaky kitchen sink 😟
Nice job! I’m in the Chicago area and I’ve never seen all these parts in ABS. Where are you, and where did you get the ABS. Why do you use ABS, and what are advantages over pvc, polypropylene, etc., that’s available at Menards?
The job went well. I ended up needing one more rubber seal ring but I was able to use an old one for the dirty drain connection.
Great video! I'm doing this next week. Does it make a difference if the t joint goes to the garbage disposal with the right side sink drain pipe going down to the p trap?
A small thing I've started doing on my white pipes: With a perm marker, I put matching lines on each nut and it's pipe it screwed on to, to show at a glance if it has backed off at all. I've seen a small leak develop because of loosening, presumably from vibration of the disposal, or bad behavior by the house elves.
Thanks for the video. I need to angle the drain pipe from the strainer sink to the pipe going into the two drain pipe adapters. Sorry. Not very descriptive. The original tail pipe is hanging too low for a trash can tray. What is best way to angle from the strainer sink to the p trap combiner? I have seen a pipe with a 45° adapter on each end which I think might work. Thanks again for any advise you can give this hobby plumber. 😮
Thank you for the video. Clarification, it seems the adapter is ABS, but the rest of the pipe is polypropylene plastic.
Dearborn Brass A9704B P-Trap With Threaded ABS Adapter, 1-1/2 in, Polypropylene
Thank you for the information 🙏
Thanks. Great videos.
Thanks for watching!
Great info!
Thank you for this video
Thank you for the support on the channel!
Where did you vent the pipes?
Thank you for your video. Can you let me know where I could buy drain pipe kit? I would like to replace my old pipes and my drain structure is almost same to you.
Try Walmart. I just bought a kit for $22 with every pipe you may need to replace kitchen sink drain pipes. I also bought a flexible extension piece for $7 to replace the one under my sink. You can probably get the same thing at any home improvement store like Lowes but they were closed when I needed it right away.
Where'd you get the pipe?
Where can I purchase the black pipe line?
good idea to install drain line pipes...seemed to save a lot of space,,,this looks like what I was looking for!! Thank you!! is that 36 inch wide sink? Do think this fit 2 x 4 gallon RO tanks? (each width 13 inch & depth 13 inch, height 17 inch)
Yes it will fit the reverse osmosis tanks. Thanks for the support!
i always use Black or White ABS.easier. faster.easy money.
How soon can you use the sink after installing the basket gasket ????
Immediately
Can’t use ABS for this in many jurisdictions. PVC is ok.
Danny,How $much$ for that Job? if you don't mind me asking in the comment.
$195 plus parts
@@How2Plumb Thanxx 4 the feedback.that's about where i charge as well.good price.
The dishwasher drain pipe has a low point. Wont this cause it to act like a P-Trap?
No because there is a pump on the dishwasher that pumps the water. A P-trap is drained by gravity. Good question thanks for washing.
Curious. Does your dishwasher have it's own drain pipe that goes to the dirty drain? It doesn't connect to a garbage disposal?
