- In this Subnautica Below Zero guide, I will be showing you where to find the Arctic Spires Cache. The Cache is located deep within the third area of the
Arctic Spire Biome and is enclosed in a rocky formation. In this Precursor cache you will find Al-An's Tissue body part which will form his vessel.
This guyide will explain strategies, what equipment is required and how to best avoid the ice worms.

How about the dose of enzyme 42 in the cave - I don't know a whole lot about
Yeah sure. That’s on my list anyway 👍
How do you get AL-AN voice/dialouge
Thanks for all your hard work on both this and the original game - your friendly northern accent has become very familiar and taken me a long way. Cheers mate.
Much appreciated fella
You know, while going over there, I realized how bad the ice worms were as long as you move, thank you man, you've helped me a lot with both games and I don't think I'd be able to complete the first game and eventually this game without your help. Also, I highly recommend going there in your prawn suit and just bounce around
In hindsight I wish I had taken the prawn suit as there was a stack of drillable ion cubes near the arm and I couldn't be bothered making a second trip
A tip for crossing the bridge: if you have the PRAWN suit and its grappling arm, you can grapple on to the bridge to get a large speed boost, then use the booster jets to cross the gap. With this technique you never have to make the hydrochloric acid, which is much more convenient as you never have to actually fix the bridge
Great tip 👍
Probably harder finding and building the prawn arm then just fixing the bridge
@@ericdickey7542 i had already found the arm before I found this trick, so while it's definitely easier to craft it if you don't have the arm yet, the method is easier if you found it beforehand
@@schmoogledoink2738 I’m saying it takes way easier to find shit than taking up a prawn arm spot. Hydrochloric acid isn’t hard to craft at all. The grappling arm damn near useless
Oh maybe I can get over it I scanned it but its not an option to craft
Alot of people just continue to ramble on and on, but you came straight to the point as you do in every video. Great job.
Having watched maybe three or four videos prior to this one, yours was, without doubt, the easiest to follow - thank you :)
Hello Ben I'm going to be honest your vids have helped me so much and I just want to thank you
Glad to hear it
Your videos have helped me so much in this game. You helped me find stuff I didn’t even realize I was missing out on.
I’ve watched so many guides I had to subscribe 😁 this channel is extremely underrated
Much appreciated 🙏
You seem extra cheerful today, Ben! It’s a beautiful thing to see! Thank you so much for always coming to our rescue! Cheers, mate! 🤗🖤
Thank you again Ben, another helpful video. I was going round in circles trying to find this! 😂 This was easy to follow, great directions
I really dont like to follow guides on these kind of games where exploration is paramount, but with the worm made it really hard to explore the area, finally after looking few times around decided to look for a guide so thanks
Thanks for the awesome guides I used this one to help me get back to the Architect tissue site and went back a second time with a beacon and the prawn suit, got 8 ion cubes mining that pile of them.
There's no way I would've found alot of this stuff on Below Zero and the original if it want for your videos. Thanks for ALL the help!!!!!
Just started playing this game, thanks for being so concise. You're a gamechanger.
Super helpful once again! Was going circles and circles looking for the damn place, thank you so much Shaina 😊
For subnautica sub zero, your videos are probably the best out there.
Absolute life saver, been looking for this so long I almost gave up!
I swear I search something about subnautica and the first video is always chemical ape lol.
Thnx with all the hard work dude
It was a year ago and still, you did a magnificent job! Much appreciated.
I truly applaud anyone able to finish this game without using guides.
i did this on a snowfox (cuz it's a lot faster and gives an achievement) and found out that you can boost just as you hear the "ice worm emerge" sound and avoid getting knocked off (sometimes cancels the damage too).
I built a base right at the end of the bridge at a little spot before the ice worm area, nice little spot and very useful.
Thank you so much with this man, I’m doing a play through of the game so this has helped a lot
Hey I just wanted to say that you have a lot of confidence going into this with damage turned on not even in a vehicle
Thanks for this. I generally love the Subnautica games, but the ice spires part was just tedious and frustrating to me, so here I am.
helped alot and I found the tissues, it was a pain getting out of the arctic spires as it became dark
I'll tell you this much, you describe the route step by step to find easily while others never say a word or ramble on about other aspects that get you lost. Thank you once again for all your help!
Cheers Nathan. Again much appreciated
@@ChemicalApes Question. Do you prefer the first game over the sequel?
Yup
I completely missed this ended up going up ladders and to a portal that didn’t seem to lead anywhere useful 😅 thank you for this!
You once again saved the day!
I like the fact when I am watching this vid ur saying I shouldent worry about ice worms when as soon as I got of the bridge, went around the corner one just popped up.
Thank so much i’ve been trying to find it so hard and finally I have 😊😊
Great video love the guides so easy to follow!!!
DUDEE I was so afraid of this part, I did it!! Thank u so much
Thank you so much! It costed my Snowfox to get out but at least the task is done and over with!
hey man i just wanna say tysm
Thank you so much I kept getting lost here because of all the nighttime and daytime was nothing but storms
So close to 100k subs man for the plaque! You truly deserve it, you've helped me so much on the subnautica games
Thanks so much I’ve been looking through this place for an hour
Thank you, your videos are always very helpful and to the point.
Thanks for all of these guides you do your the only youtuber I can find with good ones! Keep up the good work!
Man, I wish I had known about this sooner, I found the cache on my own by accident. I got seriously lost in the glacial basin, with the snow and fog, I COULDN'T SEE SHIT, on top of that those ice worms were attacking me NON STOP! even with my prawn suit IT WAS A NIGHTMARE!!!!!
Maybe a bit late, but this has helped so much thank you. However, the point at which you said you won’t meet an ice worm I got a massive heart attack when it just appeared in front of me😂
The frequent ice worm attacks really annoyed me but got there in the end thanks
Thank you , those were so easy to follow and help me a lot !!!!
Best guides ever. Thanks, Ben.
*don't need to worry about ice worms"* lol i was following your video and one spawned in my game when you said that, throwing me away from my snowfox XD.
Thank you so much u spent hours looking for this and could never find it
Thanks a lot man! I really needed this help!
Helped so much with your videos, thanks so much
A fully upgraded prawn suit makes this so much easier. If you just use the booster and keep jumping and flying they really can’t touch you, and you never have to worry about getting cold.
Thanks for the vids they really helped me
Do you stream at all? Love the videos. Guides helped me a lot on my Subnautica playthrough.
I did stream. But was pressed for time. I’ll be streaming again soon
I’m saved I didn’t know this guide from you existed
Such a great guide 👏it's just "perfect"
This helped me so much
Now I dont have to get destroyed by the Ice Worms each time
Thank u I thought the portal was what it was talking about was disappointed to find out I was wrong so I had no choice but to look it up
I did all my land work in the prawn suit! Lol works great!
You're a life-saver. Thanks
Thank you! I would have been lost for HOURS fighting ice worms without this guide!
No problem!
Nice video!
It’s this all you need after the bridge?
I found this on accident and I want to know if I need to stay and find something else cause this part suuuckkkss
is there anything else to do after u cross the brigde down this way ? i cant find anything else
NICEO VIDEO BROY, TERIMA KASIH PAMAN SUDAH MEMBERITAHU JALAN KEBENARAN
EMEJING CEKALI
This helped me so much 👍
Another great video!
Much appreciated 👍
Thanks man!
This helped me a ton
coordinates would be super helpful! love your videos but my only major complaint is that you dont provide coordinates for anywhere that you're going.
THANK YOU!
Thanks again for the help
How do i use the horsepower boost on ps4 non of the buttons seem to work it
Loved the Vid! Can you do guides on how to avoid different Leviathans? They always get me and I want to know how to get away from them. :) Much Love
Yeah sure 👍
Most of the time if you're in the sea truck with a module you can exit and wait for them to pass :)
Best tutorial guy
Do you need to have the location unlocked to go to this location?
I’m really stuck and I don’t know what to do…
i need some help, i dont have any mission and i am waiting for alan to talk with me to get something to do... is this normal??
gotta love how this behemoth of a creature only lightly taps you when attacking rather than totally flaying you in half like it would IRL (and also barely even attacks you. It just kinda pops up to say "hi").
god, i'm so disappointed in how badly they butchered this compared to the first game :c
but, this video was a damn good guide. Thanks for making it, makes me suffer a lot less while forcing myself to finish the game lol.
Im in agreement with most of your points. Anyway no probs...glad it helped
Very easy to do! Just use the snow fox and always pack some meds and food. Very easy to get back to!
Thx, I kept getting lost in that third spire area.
Best tutorials
Thank You!
in the prawnsuit i randomly fell through the floor under the bridge and managed to glitch my way up the other side without need hydraulic fluid
I spent more time running aimlessly from the worm than I did following the video 😅. Helped a lot tho
No probs
nice one geeeeezer
thank you!!
I still can't believe you successfully outrun the icewirm on foot
The people who disliked got eaten by the ice worm
I’m convinced they’re just bots, I don’t get how anyone could dislike this dudes vids. Very helpful especially to the newer subnautica players.
I finally beat both subnautica and subnautica below zero in 2 and half weeks
Prawn suit with a grapple is the best way of doing it
this is so clear
Much appreciated 👍
5:05
Hey, can you please make a video on how to get the seatruck teleporter module fragments?
Sure
@@ChemicalApes Thanks a lot
Any advice with the ice worms? I've got the snow fox ice worm upgrade, so get wrecked. Can't even make it to the second spire without the snow fox getting trashed. Tried on foot, same fate.
The thumper
I was just really careful and avoided as much as possible
pron suit
I love how at 6:24 it seems you got attacked by a snow stalker, not the ice worm.
Also, a tip from me is bring nothing but your tools, as a shortcut back is just to get killed by the worm
I dont understand
Do ice worms deal 25 dmg out of the 600 prawn health or do u mean precent?
Just 25 dmg. Not percent
Thanks.
Hi love ur vids
Much appreciated 👍
Right as you said I probably wouldnt see ice worms at the place one jumpscared me
It didn't open when i found it what should i do
Just got the full release, really helped me thanks
