Pain's catalogue is crazy and I'll take his over Lil Jon's. However, a battle is about body of work AND timing. And Jon's timing was damn near flawless. His experience as an actual DJ definitely came in handy. He knew how to read the situation and throw the most effective counter punches.

I aint heard of that song. Suppose it comes down to how are you judging the contest. World hits?. Then nah this one never made it in the clubs over here, I was a barman in the hottest club in the city an I aint heard that one from our DJs. T-pains all hit the clubs, but most weren't with the heavy hit like some of Jons ones like "yeah" ect. Its like T-pains was all good an some OMG ones....An Jon had more OMG songs and alot of 'hmm ok" ones that never made it over here.
T-PAIN said it in a DJ Vlad interview, he callled the auto tune company, studdied the algorhythm and learned to sing in a way to make it kick in the right way. Basically it's like some one who would manage to use autocorrect by typing the only the consonant in order to type faster as opposed to those using it to avoid typos.

Exactly my thoughts. Lil John records most likely represent more of their younger, golden years. Most of them probably was burnt out on clubbing right around the time T-Pain started really dropping hit after hit.
Me at 27 have good memories of both throughout school and becoming a young adult so my scoring is hair thin close with Lil John taking it by one point.
