As much as I love DMX and he held his own but Snoop was on a whole other level. I think Snoop vs HOV would of been a better "battle." Because this was more therapeutic for the culture than anything else and solidifies Snoop as being one of the greatest rappers thus far.

Great battle, but why is the music so low though?
The only way this verdict makes sense is if you completely take lyricism, conviction/delivery out of the equation when judging the battle. I put DMX up there with Nas, Pac, and Jay. I feel like people just ignored those areas that DMX shines in because it's a given that Snoop isn't known for being a lyricist or a "rapper's rapper". Da Baby has more catchy/club records than J Cole but how often do you see people comparing Da Baby to Cole as a rapper? Someone like Ludacris is a rare exception because Luda can actually rap his ass off and do club music at the same time. It's crazy that no one is mentioning the obvious fact that X is a better rapper. That matters. Not JUST great production and features (although those factors matter as well) Idk when we started leaving a rapper's pen game out of the equation.
