- YEAH! WOO! - Vocal Sample (Loop) Think Break Highest Quality It takes two, Think About it
Woo! Yeah! is a drum break that includes Bobby Byrd's ("Yeah!") and James Brown's ("Woo!") voices which has been repeatedly used in popular music, often in the form of a loop. The drum break was performed by John "Jabo" Starks. It originates from the 1972 Lyn Collins recording "Think (About It)", a song written and produced by Brown, and is just one of a few other frequently used breaks contained in the recording, often collectively known as the Think Break.

Apart from Amen Break, Change the Beat and etc
certainly one of
The break from Amen Brother is the most sampled in history. This is the second

True.
i didn't know 90s music was still modern but that's epic to know
@12DAMDO it's still being used..so still modern
@@shawncarter7188 technically no but technically yes.. this requires a bit of semantics because it depends what we mean by modern..
@@12DAMDO not technically no, Kanye used it in 2021 so it's still being used in modern stuff

Very true, because now they pitch down the Woo and slap a BUNCH of echoey reverb on it. Thinking of 2020 song Странная

Whoa yeh. Thanks a lot for this, Keglton! It’s nice to know that someone KNOWS! 😊 Yes, this sample has been used by quite a number of artists:
Cookie Crew - "Females" (1987), Fast Eddie - "Yo Yo Get Funky" (1988)

Still The Beat Goes on and on into this millennium, too.: Katy Perry - "Use Your Love (2007), A Skillz feat. Beardyman - "Got the Rhythm" (2008), DJ Kool feat. Fatman Scoop - "It Takes Two", Sean Paul - "Get Busy" (2003), Fatman Scoop feat. The Crooklyn Clan " (2003), Crazy Frog - "Daddy DJ" ,(2009), The Black Eyed Peas - "Rock That Body (2009). Even Scooter used it in "The Question Is What Is the Question?"
Those are just to mention a few of the at least a couple of dozens more in the first decade of this millennium..
And well into the 2010’s.. : Zomboy - "Pump it Up" (2011), 2NE1 - "I Am the Best" (2011), Moonbootica - "Work Your Body" (2015), X2X - "Lamb" (2015), Black Eyed Peas - "Pump It Harder", Sidney Samson - "Trojan" (2014), Does It Offend You, Yeah? - "John Hurt" (2011). AND Not even Miley Cyrus was able to resist using “woo yeah” -sample in "We Can't Stop" (2013)
Have you heard the sample “yeah woo” used in the 20’s yet ? It cannot just fade away totally, can it?
Btw, *Fab5 Freddy used ” Fresssh “ first in Change the beat in 1982. It became popular When Herbie Hancock used it in Rockit a year later. Someone might want to investigate on this particular sample further :)

Thanks :)
I have been searching this for so long
We all have lol
This changed the way i percieve music forever. I hear this everywhere now
Yeah its pretty bad :/
It feels way different if I hear it as "Woo Yeah" instead of "Yeah Woo".
wikipedia says woo! yeah! too 😂
I've always heard it as Woo! Yeah!
In songs they always start with the "Yeah!" tho
to me it is Woo! Yeah!
OH MY GOD I HAVE BEEN LOKING FOR THIS FOR YEARS AND I FINALLY FOUND IT!!!!!!!
loking 😑
You know you were in middle school in the early 90's if you hear this loop and automatically think "I wanna rock right now. I'm Rob Base and I came to get down."
IM NOT INTERNATIONALLY KNOWN
But I’m known to rock the mic 🎤
You know when you were in middle school in the late eighties if you hear this loop and automatically think 'It's time to get funky to discuss or scream' or 'Turn up the base, and get ready. For the one Cool Rock Steady ' 🙂

Action52 in nutshell
it takes two to make a thing go right!
Right about now
You are about to be possessed
By the sounds of
MC Rob Base and DJ E-Z Rock
Hit it!
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
Hit it!
I wanna rock right now
I'm Rob Base and I came to get down
I'm not internationally known
But I'm known to rock the microphone
Because I get stupid, I mean outrageous
Stay away from me if you're contagious
'Cause I'm the winner, no, I'm not a loser
To be an MC is what I choose-a
Ladies love me, girls adore me
I mean even the ones who never saw me
Like the way that I rhyme at a show
The reason why, man, I don't know
So let's go, 'cause
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
Hit it!
My name is Rob, I gotta real funky concept
Listen up, 'cause I'm gonna keep you in step
I got an idea
That I wanna share
You don't like it, so what, I don't care
I'm number-one, the uno, I like comp
Bring all the suckers 'cause all them I'll stomp
Bold and black but I won't protect
All of my followers 'cause all I want is respect
I'm not a doctor, put them in rapture
A slick brother that can easy outfox ya
'Cause I'm Rob, the last name Base, yeah
And on the mike, I'm known to be the freshest
So let's start, it shouldn't be too hard
I'm not a sucker so I don't need a bodyguard
I won't fess, wear a bulletproof vest
Don't smoke buddha, can't stand sess, yes
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
Hit it!
The situation that the Base is in
I'm kinda stingy that's why I don't wanna lend
A funky rhyme to a foe or a good friend
But listen up 'cause I want you to comprehend
'Cause I'm the leader, the man superior
I take care of ya and then ya get wearier
So just sit, my rhymes are not counterfeit
The record sells which makes this one a hit
It won't hurt to listen to Red Alert
Take off your shirt, make sure it don't hit the dirt
I like the kids, the guys, the girls
I want the ducats 'cause this is Rob Base's world
I'm on a mission, ya better just listen
To my rhymes 'cause I'm all about dissin' 'cause
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
Hit it!
I stand alone, don't need anyone
'Cause I'm Rob, just came to have fun
Don't need friends that act like foes
'Cause I'm Rob Base, the one who knows
About things that make ya get weary
Don't cheer me, just hear me
Out 'cause I got the clout, shout (ho!)
Before I turn the party out
I won't stutter, project my voice, speak clearly
So you can be my choice on stage
Or on record, go to the Wiz and select it
Take it off the rack, if it's wack put it back
I like the Whopper, fuck the Big Mac
If you want static, so let's go
So, throw up your hands, go for what you know
Bro', I got an ego
Yo, talkin' to me, no, oh?
'Cause Rob is in the front, EZ Rock is on the backup
We're not soft, so you better just slack up
'Cause I'm cool, calm just like a breeze
Rock the mike with the help of E-Z Rock
On the set, the music plays
Only cuts the records that I say
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
It takes two to make a thing go right
It takes two to make it outta sight
All right now
E-Z Rock now, when I count to three, I want you to get busy, you ready now?
One, two, three, get loose now!
It takes two to make
It takes two to make
It takes two to make, it takes two to make
It takes two to make
It takes two to make
