He painted a fence, juggled a soccer ball 5 million times, mowed an entire lawn, vacuumed a carpet and rewired a car in an hour...that's more than I do in a year.....

Let me get this straight; He painted the fence, mowed the lawn, vacuumed the carpet (assuming the whole house), rewired a car, and above all, BOUNCED A SOCCER BALL 5 MILLION TIMES IN THE AIR WITHIN 1 HOUR?! Seems legit.

But did you see Rory's face as the Doctor said "Patience is for wimps!"? I'm 945% sure he was thinking "I waited for 2000 years and you can't even wait 4 bloody days." 2:54 , THAT is the face of a man who is completely done with his son-in-law,
Roamy XLImiTED Technically not, because the Rory that waited 2,000 years was a plastic clone of Rory that existed in a universe that doesn’t exist anymore.
waddafuck I can agree with you on that one, yet while he has memories that span longer than The Doctor’s, those 2,000 years were spent doing mostly nothing. So this means that even with a shorter life/memory of a life The Doctor has still experienced more in his life than Rory. This isn’t important, I just found it interesting.
Roamy XLImiTED Well, first of all, the doctor lies all the time, especially about his age. It is estimated that he was about 900 when he first stole the TARDIS. Imagine all the time he has spent travelling across the galaxy after that. My guess is he's probably around 8-10 thousand years old, but we'll never know
+Sweet Summer LPS well he doesn't like guns.... The trifecta is Superwholock, lolz. Imagine, Sam and Dean and Sherlock and the Doctor in one place, all of them pointing their guns at each other except the Doctor who'd probably be like "oh hello, rather tense around here isn't it? I loved how much he loved these two. Never could let them go, even when he knew they were moving on with life. I really miss Amy. Funny how she has spent most of her life either waiting for him, or being with him. 10 years. Wow.
I was rewatching the video, and I was thinking, yeah I could do all that in an hour if I tried. *Then I realized he bounced that soccer ball 5 million times*
RORY: There are soldiers all over my house and I'm in my pants. AMY: My whole life I've dreamed of saying that and I miss it by being someone else. XD Love the humour in Doctor Who. Even though I like Jenna Coleman as Clara Oswald, I wished Amy and Rory could have stuck around long enough for the show's 50th anniversary.
I can relate to Eleven so much in this scene. So often I just hate sitting around and not doing anything. I feel like I'm incredibly time-conscious and that I always have to be doing SOMETHING - I can't count the number of times I've actively searched for work to do around the house just so that I feel like I'm doing something productive.
No truer words were ever said on the internet! Shutting our brains off is virtually impossible (which is why insomnia often accompanies ADHD) so we HAVE to be doing something, even if the activity is just mental. Sitting and watching a seemingly inanimate object do absolutely nothing for even an hour is mind numbingly boring for 59 of those minutes. Frankly, I'm impressed he didn't lose his mind after a few hours or even a day!
Every single Doctor that has ever lived, we have all missed and been sad to see go. Only differences would be Colin Baker, as he regenerated out of nowhere and we didn't actually get to SEE him go, and Paul McGann who didn't get a proper regeneration until almost 20 years later.
Its pretty understandable why the Doctor quit after losing the Ponds. Unlike his other companions and yes I am talking about Rose as well. The Ponds were the one thing he hasn't had since letting Susan go, a family. Take in the considerable time gap between Susan and the Ponds you see why their loss hurt him so much. For the first time in hundreds of years he had family he could love. Losing them must have hurt even more then letting go of Susan since that was by choice so she could be happy.

Being the nerd I am, I did some rough estimates after i thought having about 5 million kicks in an hour or less was fishy. Giving he was about an hour, besides kicking he spent, very roughly, 30 of those mowing the lawn/vacuuming/modifying the Williams' family car/etc, she found, that if he did actually accomplish that many kicks, it would have to total 166,666.6666 kicks a minute, or 2,777.777777 per second. Yeah... but quoting Matt Smith himself, "Never apply logic to Who."
this scene sort of reminds me of what Rose said in The unquiet Dead, "Think about it, though. Christmas 1860. It happened once. Just once, and it's... gone, it's finished. It'll never happen again. Except for you. You can go back and see days that are dead and gone, a hundred thousand sunsets ago. No wonder you never stay still."

To be fair, the doctor sense of time is a bit broken, since he time travels so often, he usually doesn't experience time in a linear way like most creatures, one time he spent 3 weeks in the middle ages and he thought he was there for a day, when a warrior told him how long he actually was there the doctor only said "it must be near bed time" or something like that, he doesn't have to wait because he can go straight to the point in which something will happen, and when he does wait, he still does anything to keep himself busy... his perception of time is so broken that he doesn't even remember his own age correctly.
He can't cope with linear time for an hour in this episode, but can spend 900 years in a tiny little village on Trenzalore. Still, I guess he was defending Gallifrey on that occasion.
Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart. Oh man he was great, still love to watch those episodes from time to time; I think it's funny how a lot of whovians didn't realize that connection sooner.
Besides the fact that I am not in college I totally know how you feel! For me not having a car or anything and being home alone almost every day I am desperate to go somewhere when anyone gets home.
Rory: you told use to be patient Dr: yes you be patient not me I hate patient , patient is for wimps Matt I miss you as the Dr you were the best but I cant complain you are now a camera man
It was arranged differently in Dalek, one of the ninth doctor's episodes. Slight consistency error one their part. Unless I'm remembering this wrong. Hope not.
Quite frankly terrifying you say that since the adult version is mostly referred as Amy. When you say Amelia, I think 10 years girl, and that kinda creep me out.

I love how 11 whispered "Twitter." like it was his worst enemy than Davros, The Master and Beans combined. Beans are evil. Bad Bad Beans.
Well, these days, it kind of is.
It sort of reflects real life. Matt Smith didn’t really care for Twitter and chose to stay off the social media site.
He’s not wrong, twitter is a menace
I think the Doctor knew what Twitter will become in the future
and he is right
I always love that the fact that Matt Smith had to paint a fence for this scene. Not sure why

He was probably the one who suggested it
Probably a poor extra with a quiff rather than Matt himself.

And the girl who waited several years for him

This scene... THIS ONE SCENE tells you everything you need to know about a person with ADHD, if we’re not doing something, we go absolutely mad!
No truer words were ever said on the internet! Shutting our brains off is virtually impossible (which is why insomnia often accompanies ADHD) so we HAVE to be doing something, even if the activity is just mental. Also the doctor in another regeneration: Over 2 billion years into the future
No one, under any circumstance, give this Doctor caffeine
But he was promised tea! =(
Brigadier Lethbridge Stewart.
Oh man he was great, still love to watch those episodes from time to time; I think it's funny how a lot of whovians didn't realize that connection sooner.
favourite scene from Doctor Who ever
Been rewatching on Netflix starting with Chris as the 9th and I gotta say, Rory and Amy's last five episodes were phenomenonal.
That sound of utter disgust when he says "Twitter".
This is why 11 is my favorite.
"I just sit here while everyone is eating ENDLESS CEREAL!!!"
3:15 he's so excited about reaching 100 that he just yells out for amy i love it
Are you really gonna say you hate being impatient to Rory?
3:20 you can see the microphone in Amy's pocket :D
why would there be a microphone in her pocket
capturing the sound man. Its the transmiter
Who even puts things in theur back pockets?
A lot of people? Have you ever seen i live show anywhere? They keep it in their back so that people dont usually see them.
Excuse it for an iPod she's keeping there
The Doctor hates Twitter, rofl
Omarpixel9 not surprised, twitter is filled with people demanding that they turn him into a woman and not choose an actor based on talents
true
KKEntertainment Well... He's a woman now.
This hits differently now....
Me during the summer, waiting for college to start back up
+SarahForeshadow13 Same here! I love the break, but then I get bored.
Besides the fact that I am not in college I totally know how you feel! For me not having a car or anything and being home alone almost every day I am desperate to go somewhere when anyone gets home.
XD
There are Soldiers all over my house and i'm in my pants ahaha best quote ever
“I can’t do it” literally me whenever I start homework or a lesson starts
I miss Matt Smith’s Doctor. He was so much fun.
flautist8807 me too!
Pond is the prettiest companion I've seen.
Which one?
Good question.
TardisesAreCool Brian - although I suppose he is technically a Williams.
Rory: you told use to be patient
Dr: yes you be patient not me I hate patient , patient is for wimps
Matt I miss you as the Dr you were the best but I cant complain you are now a camera man
SweetCreeper13 he's not a camera man who told u that man like
“All my life I’ve dreamed of saying that, and I miss it by being someone else.”
One of, if not the single best line Amy Pond ever said.
One of the most hilarious moments of Doctor Who.
"I need to be busy." you're right Doc, life is motion.
If there were any alien creatures called 'Time' then they'd be very much distressed by the title of this video.
Shush. Don't give Moffat ideas.
Hush! Don't even try to think.
Only some of them
Well, there is now...
So THAT'S how the hearts are!
It was arranged differently in Dalek, one of the ninth doctor's episodes. Slight consistency error one their part. Unless I'm remembering this wrong. Hope not.
Matt Smith was such an awesome doctor one of the best!
The doctor knew the fate of twitter
This was one of my favorite episodes.
This randomly pops on my feed and now I miss this show
This is just everything i love about Matt's Doctor. Absolutely hilarious. Down to Moffat's writing of course. Love Moffat.
Amelia Pond is hot.
Seth Rogen love yur movies man
Quite frankly terrifying you say that since the adult version is mostly referred as Amy. When you say Amelia, I think 10 years girl, and that kinda creep me out.
Not wrong
Amelia? All I see is Nebula XD.
@@varric Get out! She is Amy before Nebula.
I love how Rory was just in his underwear that whole first half of the scene! XD
With 2020 as slow and terrible it’s been I couldn’t help but think of this episode.
11: patience is for wimps!
12: *punches a wall made o f something 400x stronger than diamond for 4.5 billion years just for Clara*
hmm. he changed.
In hindsight, Jemma Redgrave’s first appearance was stellar. That hair, her clothes, her mannerisms; she really could’ve been a great female Doctor
"...we've subjected them at temperature of + and - 200 Celsius.."
*-200 Celsius*: Literally very advanced high tech cryogenics
*+200 Celsius*: wobbling a cigarette lighter under it for about a minute or so
Lethbridge-Stewart, head of scientific research
Whenever my mum says 'you're the most impatient person in this universe' I always show her this 😂
Skip to 3:38 for some emotional motivation.
Any scene that forces The Doctor to live normally in a domestic setting is going to be gold
I love the way Amy yells at him cause he's clearly doing her head in with his moaning!!. The Eleventh Doctor, the eternal five-year old!.
Scenes like this and the emotional ones are why Matt’s my Doctor! 😍😍
1 hour for The Doctor is literally A LIFETIME
3:06 me when I put espresso in my coffee.
nice little continuity error for you, at 3:20 Karen puts her legs up on the sofa and you can see her mic pack in her back pocket
