This isn't a "comparison"...this is just recorded blips from different manufacturers....
When doing comparisons, you have to use the same distances/angles away from the unit...to COMPARE...

Akrapovich best sound, Yoshimura best sound if I have to live with it daily and 2up.

Akrapovic is the only one that didn't try to make it sound like a different bike. The Yoshi pipe sounded nice, but it seemed like it was trying to make the Strom sound like an inline 4. Akrapovic still had that balls out V-twin grunt, just deeper and louder.

That was not a great representation of what the Yoshi sounds like. Mine (the same as in the video) does sound like a deeper, meaner v-twin. This video really cut out the bass.

I own a 1050 with custom headers (no cat) and have tried both the akropivich and yoshi the yoshi is by far the best at both idle and ride bys, the akropivich sounds good at idle and sitting revs but loses the deep resonance at high rpm the yoshi doesn't. Also the bike ran like shit with the akropivich I eventually got it tuned with the yoshi but it rode much better on the yoshi. Me weestrom has a full yoshi system aswell and it sounds even better then the 1050 it's comparable to a straight piped 848 Evo I had a while back.

Also I'd bet money all except the akropivich still had the cats installed. The akro was the only one with the cats bashed through or removed.
