    Hi, I am looking to buy my very first digital piano as a beginner. Roland fp10 and Yamaha p45 are my last two choices (keeping in mind the budget constraint)
    Have watched multiple videos but still confused. Can you please help me choose one?

    • @KaransDIY
      @KaransDIY  3 года назад +1

      Fp-10 beats p45 in every aspect as a piano better and more complex sound ivory touch Bluetooth support for phone with a lots of features and Roland app for phone to go with
      and piano pieces u can play through your app and the hammer action on the fp 10 is soo advance if you need the next upgrade in Roland itself u will have to spend 4x more so i would say Roland is your best bet but it all boils down to one thing its the touch sensation u play both the pianos and feel and u buy what you feel is the best (hopefully fp-10 cos why not its amazing and feature packed) but that's just my opinion but if you look it like 2021 way p45 is just a bit dated TBH but u go for what u feel is right i will post a link that will further help u make the right decision .

    • @KaransDIY
      @KaransDIY  4 года назад +3

      its heavy but not that much the thing is that the box is very long and broad for one person to carry easily and the piano is 50' in long and box is 5' more so its kinda difficult to maneuver but if you do a lot of heavy stuff lifting it will be alright its 15 kg with the box the piano weighs it self 13 kg . • @KaransDIY
      @KaransDIY  3 года назад +1

      Bought it from the importer of roland in delhi dont know if he still has it in stock and yea its expensive because of the quality of the feeling you get but you can get other brands too see all the pianos in the range u might find something better and due to this pandemic it's actually very difficult to purchase anything right now. or if you really wanna buy this piano then, its really big the extra money they charging for the piano is the shipping as shipping is not cheap for 49 i say go for it it will be delivered at your doorstep purchasing from and bring home u will require big car too so i say it's cheaper to order online if u want to. But it's your choice if you wanna purchase it.

    • @KaransDIY
      @KaransDIY  4 года назад +1

      So are the problem here is that this does not support all three pedals but it has the most important pedal the sustain pedal if you are not going all the way to the conservatory level I don't think you will need the other two pedal I have just started out playing the piano and I believe sustain pedal is more than enough for me right now because playing with both hands and using the sustain pedal is way more complicated for beginners this is a good starting piano and I have learnt a few songs on it very nice piano has 26 different tones you can connect it to your mobile phone with Bluetooth and it is a lot of fun to play around with it Ivory touch keys are very nice the weighted keys are very nice and gives a very good sensation this piano cost me around 51000 rupees with stand and without the stand the price is 43000 if you have the money I would recommend you to go by the FP-30 but if your budget is low this is a good piano to start in its competition Yamaha P 120 and the P 45 are also a good match why I chose Roland was because like the sound engine in Roland it feels more authentic Yamaha is a bit more bright if you want to purchase this piano in the state of Delhi you can get it very easily if you else where you can order online on Amazon of course it will be a bit more expensive on Amazon but the piano comes at your home delivered all round this is a very good piano and I would recommend it if your budget is low., if your budget is higher I would highly recommend you to buy the FP 30 or higher tier models or go for Yamaha p45 or any higher. i hope this helps you out . BUT I highly recommend going out and playing those instruments yourself with your hands and feel what is more comfortable to you and what sounds better to you because everybody choices varies.

      @@KaransDIY I followed the app flowkey for a while and I'm still at times leaning towards it. But I feel these apps are basically just a copy paste method, there must be a combination and pattern to progressively learn piano. What is your take on this?

    • @KaransDIY
      @KaransDIY  3 года назад

      @@jureeze140 i would say have a piece that u really want to learn and dedicate all your time to it when ever u play piano it might take some time might take u a while to learn it but it will trigger something in your brain and u might start enjoying learning the worst thing about learning piano is that most people stop or lose interest after few weeks as they dont see progress but you gotta keep trying and also have a small or short piece that will be easy to learn and don't use apps they are good but for one to truly learn piano one must learn to read sheet music or simply write keys name with it this will help you get started initially to start reading the keys on piano and practice scales learn how to maneuver your fingers fluently on a keyboard this will give you confidence to play music on piano i cannot stress this enough (practice practice practice is the key)
