    Screw robbing a bank. Why dont bank robbers rob a factory that makes money instead?

    • @derredc
      @derredc 8 лет назад +228

      Because a £2 coin weighs about as much as 3 £5 notes. If you tried to carry out millions of pounds in coins you'd break your fucking back

    • @skittlemenow
      @skittlemenow 8 лет назад +67

      Any money worth stealing from a mint will have a serial number on it and I'm fairly certain the mint would know exactly which numbers were on the money they made and the robbers stole. You would never be able to spend or fence the money it would in essence be worthless the moment you stole it.

    • @antton9189

      Cuz everyone checks he serial numbers when getting paid lol

    • @insanmonster
      @insanmonster 7 лет назад +6

      It would also greatly increase the risk of being found. If you spent some of the money and it found its way to a bank it would raise suspicion and that area would begin to be monitored very heavily. If you continued to spend that money in the same area it is only a matter of time until you get caught. That is why you see the bank robbers in movies, they ask for non serialized bills (the movie producers have done just a little research). It is also the reason why banks are more likely to be the target of robberies, they receive a lot of money in deposits that are not serialized and if stolen, there is almost nothing that can be done to determine if a stolen bill is used in a store or even deposited into another bank.

      scarfacegr5 nice non-argument. how about we concentrate on the bullshit that people are pulling who are actually alive today? or do you want a list of the heinous absurdities greeks have done throughout history starting from the times of ancient greece?
      oh well. admitting guilt was never your thing was it? and who can blame you. it's so much easier to blame and fuck over the people who tried to help you in a time of crisis.

    • @ralphfischer9267
      @ralphfischer9267 9 лет назад +31

      +scarfacegr5 Well, I understand where you're coming from. I also know that your initial comment probably wasn't a serious complaint about the greek situation. Which is exactly why I made a cheeky response to it. (I also might have been a little intoxicated)
      I wanted to have a discussion about this issue. Which you instantly took south by your comment about jews. I mean really? You don't expect someone to get mad at you after that? You are surprised someone pointed out your hypocrisy and you interpret it as "behaving like a cunt all over the internet"?
      If you refuse to have a discussion without resorting to dishonest unrelated arguments then who is being unreasonable?
      As far as german financial aid goes - you already received it. Ungratefully so. Which was the whole point of my comment and the reason for the undeniable tensions between greeks and germans. And all of that makes this an even more pressing and interesting matter to talk about. But since you demonstrated that you are either unwilling or unable to be rational about this I honestly lost my interest.
      Oh, and by the way. There's a pretty fail safe method of determining the bigger asshole in a conversation. It's the guy throwing the first ad hominem (bonus points for racial stereotypes) You win! Yay!
      Have a nice life :)

      the process happens in concealed space ( inside a closed tube, both for the ring and the filler). The mechanism shown at 4:40 is quite clear to me. I guess it is impossible to disassemble those parts to show how it functions.

    Inner layer: Nickel; Outer layers: Nickel-brass.
    And in the middle they showed the manufacturing process of 1 euro coin.

    Actually, coins and bills (or notes, depending on where you are) have to be produced constantly because old ones (broken or worn down) have to be removed from circulation every day. So it's not necessarily inflation that's going on unless they're producing more than they're taking out of circulation.

    • @ian9037
      @ian9037 9 лет назад +1

      +Connor Steppie the only real difference is the metallic composition (which metals are used) and dimensions of the coin.. the €2 coin uses just copper and nickel however a £2 coins outer ring is roughly 20% zinc and the other 80% made up of mostly copper as well as nickel.. €2 coins contain no zincthe inner circle is made of "cupronickel" an alloy of copper and nickel, however there's less copper in this alloy meaning the metal is silver and not brass coloured. The outer ring is cupronickel on a €2 coin however there is more copper to change the colour. There is no evidence to suggest the inner circle of a £2 coin is a sandwich as it is in the €2 coin
