This is easily my most anticipated game of the year. I lost count of how many times I've rewatched this trailer already 😆

I love when the rail gun first fires and it burns a dinner plate sized hole in my chest. I felt that.
some stuff I picked up on:
621 is probably the same from the previous Cinematic trailer: there they were referred to as "C4-621" and is most likely the pilot we'll be in the game.
This seems very similar to the Human+ program from the previous AC games, where pilots can and will be heavily augmented to be able to pilot the mechs.
That wired plug-in was probably the Cerebral Coral Control Device mentioned previously, we (621) probably got theirs from 617's corpse and it seems like it directly attaches to the brain/brainstem.
We saw the death of pilots: 617, 619 and 620 but there wasn't a 618, it's possible we get to meet them during the course of the game. (if they haven't already been killed)
I saw from a another commenter on a different video that maybe the heli who is announcing the mission callouts is 618. Plausible theory.

There are a lot of similarities between this story and Human Plus from Gen1. Keep Dying and get into debt -$50,000 6 times. Your body is shown being experimented on.
I notice this C4- 621 is us, the player.

and "C4". Nineball was Consciousness Number 4. No way that's a coincidence.
You addressing the attention to detail with the shells and the cooling colors. Loved it.
Most game trailers try to give you as many answers as possible. I love that Fromsoftware gives you questions. You always come away from them with more questions than you went in with. Who the fuck is Walter, what is 621, why are we at war, how does this mechanic work in-game etc etc That's what makes them so exciting imo. Great vid, normally people pausing the vids gets on my nerves but you had great reason to do so with interesting observations

I'm not ashamed to say this trailer brought a tear to my eye. For me, Fromsoft has created an atmosphere and tone which draws me in even with how little has been revealed.
In particular, when the AC rams it's chaingun into the huge MT, the camera angle changes to the face of the AC and you can see the AC lean in defiantly, like we see in other forms of media when two characters come face to face. This strikes me as a very human behavior, one which is well communicated, and like I said it makes me unexpectedly emotional.
So you have said on literally every reaction to this trailer. I think this is the third copy and paste I've seen so far. 😂

I'm not saying there isn't love in this trailer, but I think the stuff you pointed out is just common fair for a big budget CGI scene. Like the bullet casings, I feel like if you don't do that now, your just not living up to the general standard of quality you should be for animation. (Also as a side, I feel like that's not enough casings and their coming out too slow. But that's a problem with gatling guns firing 600 rounds a second so that'll just look like a blurred mess at times. Which to be fair, it should and that's exactly what they did here).
But what gets me is the creative story telling. Like 617 is the one that dodges the death beam at the start that introduces that threat in the animation then 619 gets hit by the same weapon. It show both that's deadly, they are all skilled, and 617 is probably a little bit better. Or that upshot of the tank coming out of the ground. Showing how outmatched the ACs are. Or the pov of the tank showing how fast and hard to hit 617 is. I feel that's great storytelling in a short time, and it shows despite how deadly they are, they are still outmatched and treated like a spare tire in this world.
I'm trying not to get my hopes up. From what they've shown it's looking like everything i could want from an AC game... so I'm just trying to keep my expectations reasonable

Abstraction of battlefield ao at 1:14 definitely asks some questions. Will any of this be realtime, in-game? Or just presentation, cut scenes?
Most Fromsoft games I remember being realtime cutscenes, atleast the player model is.
