Is it just me, or are all these prices and designs completely unspectacular? Like multi-rail socket is cool, but cheap spring holders....and price of $28? Magnet storage bit seems okay. $22 for plastic clip magnetic rail tool holder seems way too pricey.

The 4pc Magnetic Wrench Rack rails look just like the Ernst Manufacturing Wrench Rail Set with Magnetic Backing. They are direction specific and you have to setup them up like the pictures in the shape of an "N". The wrench grooves do not line up together straight on so one rail has to be straight and one at an angle versus both straight or both at an angle in a "V". They need to be setup just like the picture on the package.
This is exactly why I gave away my Ernst wrench rails. I went with Snap-On KRA15A with a student discount. I paid $10 for two rails at 24" long. I wanted the ability to lay out the rails in a parallel fashion to accommodate standard wrenches and stubby's.

Those aren't very harbor freight prices. I've bought a few similar things from Lowe's for less. Even ordered a couple snap on pliers racks for the same price on the father's day sale.

I'm really thinking I need the Pliers Rack as well. If I was 20yrs old I would probably make something, but the older I get some things you just need the easy convenience of having it ready to go.
Looks like a dishwasher rack, or something for silverware. I purchased a plastic rack which has varied widths that can be placed flat in a toolbox drawer or hung on the wall or on pegboard. It did not cost as much and us a better system. Look around, you can find better.
JS products out of Las Vegas "Global Sources" tools for the Lowes Kobalt Brand. which is all but dead with their push to bring in Craftsman. from what I understand, Sears sold the craftsman brand to Stanley Balck and Decker, then they pay a lease on the name for use on things like Garage Door Openers, Lawnmowers and Power Tools, which is why you wont see craftsman branded circular saws and Drills at Lowes, is because they are not made by SBD. when Sears finally kicks the bucket, I expect to see rebranded DeWalt power tool under the craftsman brand name and a red and black color scheme, when that happens you will see the final nail in the coffin of Kobalt or it will get relegated to the bottom bin dirt cheap tools like Home Depots HDX brand. it would not surprise me if Ernst was making these tool organizers for Harbor Freight. I know they Ernst makes a version of the socket boss socket organizer for Tekton.
Brads Workbench The plier rack is $5-$8 cheaper than average but yes most of the other stuff is pricey. With the coupon the other items are about the same as other retailers. I noticed that they are pricing items similar to the comparable name brand tools. Hopefully they pay attention to these reviews and comments and come back to earth.
The ones I mostly see are around $24 for 2 and $17 on average for a single. But both are longer and hold more that the harbor freight one. To each their own. I don’t have a harbor freight close enough to me to justify saving that little. I just saw an add somewhere that showed their 5 drawer carts up at $229. But we all know how much they like to play with their pricing so maybe it’s just a jumping off number

Brads Workbench Yeah that coupon exclusion thing is very annoying. I shop at a local Sports shop that carries name brand sports items like Nike, UnderArmor and Oakley and every time I tried to use a coupon they would tell me the item was excluded from the coupon. So I asked the manager to find me something in the store to use the coupon on and the only thing they could find was $0.15 bubble gum. Absolutely no joke. Since I’ve called them out they have been overriding the computer to give me the discount. HF is moving in the same direction unfortunately.
Started collecting last year last and the counted is around 33, but we actually do pull out of the box and use them. It use to be flashlights and batteries, but this keeps me from grabbing a kitchen washcloth or towel and I stay out of trouble.
should have collected the magnet rails. now they're not free anymore. looks like the puck lights and micro fiber cloths always gonna be free. I been stocking up on the light switch leds cuz they did away with them long time ago and they free July 12-14th so bring some friends and stock up today.

I think the wrench racks are too tall. pricing seems a bit high for harbor freight but, i'm cheap. i wished HF had used the plastic square drive peg rails instead of those horrible spring clips. The red bit holder has been around for years and sold for less than 10 bucks often. the icon wrenches pictured looked a lot like Carlyle/Channelock versions. They are too tall for most of HF's drawers. Both pliers and wrench racks. Other racks are also too tall, this is more a comment on the drawers. Too bad they don't have more 3-4" drawers in their toolboxes to match these racks that are becoming pretty standard.

I got the multiple red socket holder but haven't used it. I have the bit holder an the pliers rack, the magnetic socket holder in 3/8 It's holding my 10 mm sockets. I was thinking about the wrench organizer

I have a Yukon rolling bench from HFT - one drawer on top and cabinet doors on the bottom. It's on the opposite side of the shop from my main box, so it holds often used tools in its top drawer. Saves me a trip. I'm not much for color coordination, but I'd picked up a set of SO prybars with green handles and thought it would be fun to go for a green theme. Long story, I know, just to say that I would have gladly paid a few more shekels for a green bit holder.
Those silver spring type socket holders, you can't pay me to own those. Never seen a good one yet. Too hard to get sockets off and on IMO. As everyone has said, pricey for HF.
Esp if you can snag the metal clip socket holders for $0.99 like I have, I wondered why my store had them all in a box for less than a buck. I can rivet them to a piece of angle and find some magnets. easy peasy.
You can use the 20% off coupon, but I'm still not quite sure why the Magnetic Socket L Tray Mount rail is priced so high at $28.99 for such a little thing.

I bought a 2 sets of the US General wrench holders. Ended up taking them back due to a manufacturing issue. No matter how I set them up the angles were wrong. Maybe not all of them had issues though
I like the fact Harbor Freight is upping their game and coming in with some much better tools. However it seems that their pricing is a bit High, let's not forget it's Harbor Freight.
It's going to work the same just look super dirty and show literally everything. Best buy stock in degreaser and cleaning solutions and a smoke break every hour to clean down the car. All things aside I have no room for it, it's not practical, and I still want it. Not getting it for sure, still want it. 😂😂
They are so new that most of the items are Not on the Harborfreight.com website and I'm not sure when they will be. They may or may not be in your store as of now, but you can use the 20% of coupon on them.
I just bought a really nice wrench rack from snap on for $15 and it has a rubber base for the pliers to sit on so they don’t slide and they’re really high quality. $15 for a wire one seems a bit steep.
Those wrench holders aren't new, they've just changed colors and names over the years, mine are black and they work ok but you could easily make something out of a scrap of wood LOL. Not sure what you would do with those socket holders, they won't fit in most of the drawers with deep sockets on them...and the ones they sell for about $1 each are junk, that is unless you love digging sockets out of the bottom of your tool bag. Overall ridiculous prices for those items.

That's a interesting and funny observation. I guess the marketing and product people are trying to distinguish by color, but like you mentioned they are unlabeled and don't come with stickers or decals that I could see so you are really free to do whatever. Also the magnetic L socket rail only comes in black but you can can put Metric or SAE on it. Always blame it on the marketing and product team.
Not sure what you mean? You can use a 25% off coupon item and on another item use a 20% off and then another coupon for the free item if you really wanted to!

I like the fact Harbor Freight is upping their game and coming in with some much better tools. However it seems that their pricing is a bit High, let's not forget it's Harbor Freight.

It's going to work the same just look super dirty and show literally everything. Best buy stock in degreaser and cleaning solutions and a smoke break every hour to clean down the car. All things aside I have no room for it, it's not practical, and I still want it. Not getting it for sure, still want it. 😂😂

They are so new that most of the items are Not on the Harborfreight.com website and I'm not sure when they will be. They may or may not be in your store as of now, but you can use the 20% of coupon on them.

I have seen far more superior tool holders cut from aluminum for less$$$$ Harbor Freight seems to be setting high prices for their dollar store tools!
I just bought a really nice wrench rack from snap on for $15 and it has a rubber base for the pliers to sit on so they don’t slide and they’re really high quality. $15 for a wire one seems a bit steep.

Through a liner they aren’t very strong at all. Nice idea wish the magnet was stronger.
Those wrench holders aren't new, they've just changed colors and names over the years, mine are black and they work ok but you could easily make something out of a scrap of wood LOL.
Not sure what you would do with those socket holders, they won't fit in most of the drawers with deep sockets on them...and the ones they sell for about $1 each are junk, that is unless you love digging sockets out of the bottom of your tool bag.
Overall ridiculous prices for those items.

The only wrench racks I like is the one's that lay the wrenches flat. They sell them over at TEKTON for 10 bucks.

That's a interesting and funny observation. I guess the marketing and product people are trying to distinguish by color, but like you mentioned they are unlabeled and don't come with stickers or decals that I could see so you are really free to do whatever. Also the magnetic L socket rail only comes in black but you can can put Metric or SAE on it. Always blame it on the marketing and product team.

@@ClientGraphics I chopped up a few wire cd racks that I picked up from the local goodwill for $3 (total) and made some knock-offs that actually aren't terrible, but they are limited in what pliers will fit.

All the metal socket clips are a waste of money, even brand new some will not accept a socket, some are too loose and other just pop off the rail, junk.
Yep. I tried a bunch, threw them in the scrap bucket. Now I use the magnet strips.
