I have the harbor freight rack and have my pliers in handle first. The trick I found was half of the handle goes under the back bar of the rack and the other half of the handle goes overtop of it. That was the best way I found to make them work.
I made a couple of plier racks for my toolbox out of cooling racks used for baking. I bent them into a zigzag along the length of the rack. The spacing is almost perfect for most pliers, adjustable wrenches, and even some smaller pipe wrenches. It's a good cheap, diy option if one is inclined to do so or if there is specific size drawer.
I like to use 10awg wire. I coil it up and stick tools inbetween coils. You just adjust the size of the coils and distance between individual coils depending on the tools you're organizing
I’v got the HF pliers rack and I’m looking to replace it. It’s fine, if you don’t have thicker pliers. I’ve got a few that don’t fit, and some of the others come out occasionally. It’s a decent cheap option, but it isn’t working for me. I think I’m gonna give the Toolganizer a try, especially since I’m planning on ordering wrench racks from them. Hopefully they’ll work out better.
I used the 30% off 5 items under $10 so yah I’m totally happy with the price. I do have the bit holder as well. Probably need to do a review on that too at some point but it’s decent.
I think a better solution is to cut the wire racks sold at HD. They can frequently be obtained when a kitchen is being redone. As far as accommodations for wider items cut the wire between two adjacent sides
The pliers rack I bought off amazon for close the the same price (if you consider the length) had a variety of spacing for the wide handle pliers. It’s definitely a nice feature. More expensive but also twice as long as the HF one. Great ideas tho 👍🏼
Brads Workbench That one from Amazon has the 5 wider spots that come in really handy for thicker pliers. I bought one of them and one from HF and have no plier issues now.
Peter Boissiere I thought about that, didn’t have any around. Would have to spray just a little so it doesn’t expand too much but you could make it work 👍🏻
I don't like the Harbor Freight one. I found closet racking from HD or Lowes (my basement) works better. Just cut lengthwisw along the center support. Cut to drawer length

towboatjeff me too lol I thought that was the way it worked.
@@lefthandedarcher2126 that is the way they are supposed to work. The video guy couldn`t figure that out
@@Peter-976There is even the photo on the box showing how to put them in handle end first.
You’re a genius!! I love when your able to Reuse something for an even better purpose, it looks great 👍

I am digging on the free set up! They've always said one's trash is another's treasure. Thanks for the video.
Bobby Garrett That would be a great video title!
Good call on the battery trays. I always flip the rack around too
Nice life hack there! I could think of many uses with those battery racks!
I also found that CD racks work ok too
Nice awesome I’ll be going to Walmart and steel one of those Duracell plastic trays

I've seen that done a few times. That's always a good fairly quick and easy yet flexible, thanks for commenting!
I agree the free setup is better. Thanks

I am probably picking up the HF one, I have the red adjustable HF one but I have TOO MANY PLIERS
Great deal for $8. This and the bit holder are good deals. Hopefully they get more realistic with the prices of the other storage items.

Socket tray is expensive.....kobalt has theirs on sale for 17.97 and they are a quality product
What’s up!!! Great video brother!

Kaisen Foam is my go to for organization. At $15 for a 24"x48"x7/8 sheet, I find it cheap enough to be great

Trucker88 yea it is pretty handy. If memory serves it’s like 36” and $24 or so. I know I had to cut it down a bit
Brads Workbench Mine came as two smaller racks with 15 slots in each with the first 5 being wider.
I use the plier rack for my vice grips i have a ton of them
Those side you cut off the ends you can use as small drill bits like hex, star, flat head, philips head ect
diameter?
Sweet hack and free is always great!! Awesome video clientgraphics
Fill the back of the battery tray with expanding foam
Randall Masoner Didn’t have any around at the time and was looking to keep it free as well as add weight. Expanding foam could work.
Hyundai ad watched
Had fun at solution city
Like applied 👍
Spray foam insulation may work

I use silver ware tray doesn't work i like the free Duracell one
I like the HF pliers rack.
It's cheap too, so I can afford to spend the rest of my money on American made pliers.
I bought a pliers rack and then found pretty much the same one at Harbor Freight…. only lost a couple of bucks but still made me mad 😡
The free set will trap dirt and debris,
Intro outro way to high mannnn
Those side you cut off the ends you can use as small drill bits like hex, star, flat head, philips head ect
That's a fantastic idea, thank you for mentioning that!
