I guess someone had to show and tell where they put their cut off switch.

@@davidlis6709 I don't blame you for wanting to protect that car. She's a beauty. And it's a damn shame that stuff like this has to be done to keep what's yours. Best wishes!

17:08 When I used a chain I used one of the existing bolts from the upper latch. No need to add more hole in the hood. Also cover the chain with a bicycle tube. I would find both your switches easily. You need it tucked under where all the wires are. The 2nd switch is easier to see than the 1st. If someone wants your car bad then they will tow it. Check for clearance issues on that 2nd switch before drilling and also paint it before you install it. Now you have a different color paint on the panel. You do stuff backwards for some reason.😂 Also go buy the proper wire crimping tool.

The easiest way is to short out the - side of the coil. Connect a wire from the - side of the coil to one side of the switch inside the car then connect a second wire from the other side of the switch to a ground. Use an existing screw that goes through metal under the dash for ground.

So I have a 1988 Dodge Diplomat that doesn't have a working horn nor does it have a working brake light. The running lights are on but when you push down the thing it doesn't work now I can't seem to find the part for the brake I forget what it's called but trying to see if there's anything easier that I can do. I live in Massachusetts

Horn - did you check to see if the buttons make contact, might just need to clean contacts.
Brake light - try replacing the bulb

hook to distributor side of coil. switch just interrupts the flow of juice.

@@monarchmark1967 That is correct, + side, it connects to distributor

Points distributor wire goes to the - side of the coil. NOT +.
