    I use dried, compressed mugwort every day in the form of a moxa stick. When lit, the heat from the burning stick stimulates acupuncture points. The aroma is deep and comforting.

      You can't confuse mugwort. I had a tiny Collins book to go on.. once you spot mugwort you'll recognise it instantly... A n it is perfumed when rubbed. Bit of a delicate woman's sent.. Hard to describe till you smell it
      .
      It's really calming as a tea and pleasant tasted

    • @Eueueyw
      @Eueueyw 4 года назад +1

      Ragweed looks quite similar to mugwort but you won’t confuse it for anything in the carrot family, the leaves are kinda similar but the flowers and the way they grow are completely different.

    is there any uk edible tree barks? or saps? or any that should be avoided?

    • @UKWILDCRAFTS
      @UKWILDCRAFTS  4 года назад +4

      I don't know much about edible bark, I know the inner bark of some trees are edible. Pine for example. And birch, Nordic people used to dry the inner bark of birch and use it as flour

    • @derekfrost8991

      Not all species of pine are edible. Birch & Linden are the only ones I would personally risk. It's dangerous for the tree so try to avoid eating it unless it's necessary.. :)
