5 STARS!!! I have wasted hours watching rubbish Mugwort videos and finally, yours tells me what I wanted to know. Thank you for being so clear, precise and showing exactly what you were looking at in sharp close up.
Thanks 😊
not hallucinogenic, but calming, centering, mind expanding
Very informative thank you I have it in my garden , love the scent,
I just found out that mugwort is called "yomogi" in Japan and we use it to flavor "mochi" rice cake. I'll definitely look for these !!
Ah nice is that the three coloured rice cakes? I think I’ve seen those
Yes, the green ones are the mugwort. I've bean researching and some Japanese shops in London sell these but pretty expensive!! Google "kusa mochi" or "yomogi mochi" I'm gonna make some this year! Thank you!!!!
I love mochi,,especially with butter and tahini😁
I use dried, compressed mugwort every day in the form of a moxa stick. When lit, the heat from the burning stick stimulates acupuncture points. The aroma is deep and comforting.
Adore the way you inform and empower. You and your teachings aught to be in every home! I thank you kind Sir!
Thank you 😁🌱
Straight to the point unlike other channels
Thanks 😁
You gave us good examples of the plant. Thank you. :)
Thanks 😊
Another cool vid! I’ll keep my eye out for these.
I've had it a few times this year.. Really soothing as a tea and for me it really gave vivid dreams that could remember on waking..
One for the pot... I don't boil the tea maybe that's why more potent..?
Perfect video, just what i was looking for, thank you.
Thanks 😊
Oh one I have been learning about but didn't know how to forage. Excellent thanks x
You're welcome 😊
I see this everywhere, never put 2 and 2 together until now
Great and informative, thanks!
Thanks 😊
I'm an acupuncturist, I use mugwort to do moxibstion to boost immune system. But I haven't try UK's mugwort yet, they maybe quite different from the produce in China.
Would be interesting to experiment and see what the difference is between the local mugwort and the Chinese one. I fancy making my own moxa!
I've been drinking and smoking this plant for years but I've never foraged it so this year I'm making that my goal
Hey there 😊 I'm intrigued, where would one purchase such a herb? x

Thanks for your help/infor
😊
Thanks dude
The leaves at the top look similar to rosemary. Great video thanks 😁
Thanks, yes they do
hello Thankyou for the wonderful videos I'm new to herbs an i have the most beautiful mugwort in my garden i harvested on the full moon what i wish to know the flowers are still buds its not flowered as yet can i use them once dried or fresh for tea? for sage? for smoking? for oil? for tincture? have also left some mugwort so i can experience it in full bloom the flowers once the flowers open how can i use these? Thankyou x
I’ve not tried it... Yet!!! 😂 Great coverage of this seasonal plant. Be great to cover some recipes recommendations. What did you do with your harvest?
Thanks 😊. I only really use mugwort for tea before bed. Sometimes I have it mixed in with other greens
Just what I was looking for. I have a volunteer mugwart in my garden. How do I harvest it and dry it please. I've read that I chop it down to a metre tall in autumn, is that correct?
Nice india
GREAT video yet again!! i wonder if the halllucinogenic properties are expose after crushing through absorbtion? hence the use by roman soldiers in their footwear?? it might`ve took the edge off a long hike in full armour lol
Maybe yeah I'm not sure how that works. I think it had a cooling effect on sore feet
I would imagine it might be pretty straightforward if the soil is suitable to its habitat...I found a dried spike amongst the fresh growth and will be trying...
Sorry meant for comment above
I really enjoy your uploads, hence my subscribing.........don't those leaves look a bit Hemlockish?
You can't confuse mugwort. I had a tiny Collins book to go on.. once you spot mugwort you'll recognise it instantly... A n it is perfumed when rubbed. Bit of a delicate woman's sent.. Hard to describe till you smell it
.
It's really calming as a tea and pleasant tasted
Ragweed looks quite similar to mugwort but you won’t confuse it for anything in the carrot family, the leaves are kinda similar but the flowers and the way they grow are completely different.
@@Eueueyw plus ragweed stinks not a pleasant smell.. Only way I can describe it is it
"Makes ya dubious as to if Somethings pee'd on it!"
why is there green and reddish/purple ones? is it because of the sun?
This plant looks so similar to others I think I’ve just picked a random plant that looks vaguely similar lol
Live in the north east i here there a lot more prevalent down south
This is a very common weed here in Alaska, as is wild chamomile.
Ironically Alaska is the one of the rare places where not all roads lead to Rome.
I have had it In tea and gave really vivid dreams
And really relaxing
I don't boil the tea as I put raw honey in... Maybe that's why more potent?
Great vid as always
Thank you
I'll try it without boiling and see 😊
you on that astral projection vibe....haha
@@MoneyRazorVEVO don't knock it till you tried it.
Look in to golden ratio fibonacci and how its in nature plants animals rivers sound energy life..
Truth is stranger than fiction friend
Our ancestors knew much more than we do and not just the flora
@@richardlilley6274 no im not knocking it gentlesir, loving it, the golden ratio amazing I enjoy seeing it everywhere, you have any good documentaries to recommend? you sound rich in knowledge
@@MoneyRazorVEVO so true sacred geometry and golden ratio are everywhere yet for one was never taught it in school..
I'll have a look in my liked vids... Most the really good ones have been pulled... Go figure.!
is there any uk edible tree barks? or saps? or any that should be avoided?
I don't know much about edible bark, I know the inner bark of some trees are edible. Pine for example. And birch, Nordic people used to dry the inner bark of birch and use it as flour
Not all species of pine are edible. Birch & Linden are the only ones I would personally risk. It's dangerous for the tree so try to avoid eating it unless it's necessary.. :)
Does this help u sleep?
Smoked a bunch of it last night, no hallucinations but I did have some strange dreams.
I have a mugwort tea before bed about once a week. I often find I sleep better and remember my dreams
♡
I'd have watched all of jungle book if mowgli looked like you

Aww :) Thank you,@@richardlilley6274

Looked like a whole load of St Johns Wort in the background.
looks like ragwort to me
@@nathanfinch7395 not the stuff in the last shot, but you could be right.
Thats yarrow mugwort don't have white seedlings up top
Hi this is 100% Common Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris). It doesn’t look at all like yarrow

Don't worry kind soul! This time in history is biblical, and WE WIN!!? Just have faith in your saviour. And Q❤❤❤
