I love the toys and their designs, i really appreciate the combination of natural coat color with the colorful fantasy manes.
The promotion are also perfect they are stylised but still looks like horses.
The fashion aspects with the fabric saddle and shoes reminds me of strutz a bratz like horse line but with sweet expressions.
I feel like the only thing missing would be them being scented like strawberry shortcake dolls or yummiland sodapop girls.
this show/toyline has a chokehold on me, its adorable !!!! its not top of the line, but it makes the younger horse girl in me so happy :3
oh wow!!! hehe yeah i mean, cocoa is def already my favorite too, though my reasoning mostly is related to her streaks reminding me of button from horseland-- i'm glad i'm not the only one being reminded of horseland, that show may have some rough moments in retrospect but the designs were so charming

They would be nice but I don't think they will need them, especially since I think the saddles are supposed to represent their special trait
From the toybox descriptions, their special markings are the colours in their manes. Each character has a colour theme which appears as an accent in their mane.
I think the saddles are just because fashion and dresses.
I think the toys hair brush are their symbols, they all have a unique one
I'm gonna give this a chance, so i can hope this will be a good competition to Hasbro and encourage them to make better products.
Seriously, the lack of MLP merch in the stores near me - a solidly upper middle class suburb - is surprising. I also hope that it kicks Hasbro's ass in terms of the quality of their shows (much as I like TYT, I think there is so much missing that could make Gen 5 fresh for MLP AND still be something that keeps a wide audience hooked.
The more equine The Better... A lost classic was Horseland around the 2000's and Sprit stallion of cimmaron series was fun so with much MLP passion Wild Mane will be a fun adaption...

Me before I started collecting generations outside of G4 would have probably shunned this. But I LOVE IT!! It looks adorable, and I think MLP needs some horse competition. Really excited for this show!! That being said, I will probably be slow to collect them since I collect most of my MLP stuff secondhand, especially with my G3 stuff

Yeah I've been happy to watch these episodes so far. I won't keep my hopes up for the story to be insane or anything, but I'll enjoy it's simplicity. I love the character designs and the voices themselves and it totally makes me want the toys lol
I also tried the Roblox game and it has potential, but it is very much in the beta stage right now gahah.
I feel like my hype for this is mainly due to wanting a new fresh start for a My Little Pony-esque series and because G5 isn't super interesting right now (to me), I still love the characters and like watching the episodes but it's going kinda slowly... And I thought they were going to go to Skyros but then they... Did they not go to Skyros!?! Was that just for the comics? Anyway, Wild Manes doesn't have the most interesting dialogue or story but it does bring me back to older MLP gens too.
I also want to be a part of something from the beginning that goes on for a while (like with MLP:FIM and I guess by extension G5) but- I don't want to get my hopes up that this show will last for very long necessarily..
If I were 6 again, I would be completely obsessed with this series and beg my parents for everything.
My eyes are liking the blue horse and coffee one.
I've also noticed there aren't many colors in the whole cast image. It's mostly browns and pinks. Where purple and green?
A green one could be like a camping horse, all about the great outdoors.
A purple one could be named Amethyst who is a geologist that collects rocks and gems.

As soon as I saw it, I immediately thought it was just some knockoff mlp show (similar to chip chilla and bluey), but after seeing that it's from jakk's pacific (what I presume to be a premier toy company, seeing as how they got mario and sonic 3 toy lines), I feel like it probably has a lot more money put into it, and it's only inspired by mlp (there's no way they would've come up with the idea without mlp).
When I saw a picture of this on RUclips, I thought this was going to be a dark parody, so was surprised when it didn't end with the horses being mauled.
Yeah, I've probably been watching all the wrong videos on RUclips lately to think that I'd come across a dark MLP parody instead of a new show.

I'm also working on a deviantart arpg-esque thing based around pegasi since HORSES.......... eating this up. i might buy the toys, i don't really collect any toys other than mlp g3 but they are SO CUTE i might have to make an exception

im so excited for wild manes! i love how they look more like real horses, the art style and use of rigs is awesome, and it looks like the toys are at least partially articulated which is so cool! and i hope they do add male characters to the roster, diversity is always great for children's shows. i wonder if the show will have lessons and continuity like MLP, but even if it doesnt it can still be a good show if they do it right.
I'm hoping it's at least able to teach some good lessons.

Can you maybe check out Unicorn Academy? Its another horse show that has lore, dun characters, and an ongoing story.

I hope that if they have a male pony in Wild Manes, that character will be as well-handled as all the females. Presuming the show it well-handled, in general.
I saw the trailer reposted on Instagram, and I immediately thought it was mimicking MLP G3 but with G5 TYT style animation.
I sgree about the toys, in fact I immediately pre-ordered the Cocoa’s Bakery Cart set!
Interestingly, I watched the trailer and had to rewatch it again, as I thought I recognised a couple of MLP G4 VAs - Bailey’s voice sounds like Ashleigh Ball, and Cherie could either be Cathy Wesluck or Nicole Oliver.
I’ll definitely be tuning in!
I hope this succeeds, if only to give Hasbro a reason to get their shit together and fix the mess that G5 has been
IMO this show succeeding would be good on many levels - something different in the world of horse shows that can be entertaining, AND something that can kick Hasbro's ass into getting their shit together in terms of the MLP franchise on the whole (and G5 ofc, but I also think the ass kick needs to be hard enough for them to not lose focus if or when they go into a gen 6 and the like)

Never heard of this show, but this is a cash grab to capitalize on the success of MLP following the heels of “Friendship Is Magic” and “Make Your Mark”, but I’ll give it a shot. I love horses, but I don’t collect MLP and “Wild Mare” toys.
One of the few times in my life where I'm both intrigued and disgusted by the design.
It really did not impress me. I get I'm not the target audience but I just can't stand these web-series anymore. They're so shallow and lifeless. Even "bad" normal length shows have something entertaining going on. This was just terrible... I do think the toys are adorable though. Maybe if they get popular enough from this they'll have proper episodes?
I don't think the show was lifeless, it's just that the voice acting wasn't so great for older audiences.
They might be five minutes but the thing is. They don't go so fast it feel like sugar shots shooting through your heart. It's actually normal-paced lol unlike TYT right now. Honestly I wish they were a couple of minutes longer, the first episode ended too early for me. I love the way the horses look, and for some reason I just like watching it for fun lol
@@eglol But so little happens. I get that they're 5 minutes long so not much *can* happen but it just feels empty. I mean, I can see why someone might want to just watch it for fun, but I can't see why anyone would obsess over it like MLP :/
