@@TOHFan3157 it’s a joke I found but you know how the ponies look less pony in every gen to seem cuter ? Like keeping it in the family , as long as you keep it in the family , the next will be cuter
Why is she written worse than Opaline. Its like Opaline had so much going on around her. The whole Alicorn from Skyros thing and her having some kind of unexplained beef with Twilight. There was alot that they could have done to her character but now its all gone to waste. Allura...is really bland tbh.
Yeah "villain" is a stretch. She does literally nothing outside of Starlight Ridge... even calling Opaline a villain is a stretch, actually you couldn't even call her an inconvenience. She does nothing until the final episode and is defeated in what? Five minutes? Then she gets sealed inside a tree... and this is the woman who defeated Twilight and Friends?😂
Yunno, now that I'm looking at it. Wild Manes has a vibe that I wish Horseland had as a kid. Horseland's got the fantastical looking designs for their horses but it's setting is pretty grounded in reality. Meanwhile here you have the "fantastical" element of the horses living lives outside of humans and having jobs
I feel like one of the biggest issues Horseland had was that there was too much toxic drama between characters. That, and the amount of one-off characters that appear only to never be used again.
@@drunkenskunkproductionsdsp8094 I don’t remember the drama? I just remember it being a cutesy show about girls who rode horses and there was also this dog and cat that said the moral at the end of every episode I think? It’s been years since I last watched it so I may have forgotten a lot of things lol
@@prismopatterson there is soooo much drama in Horseland. I remember one episode they called one of the horses fat and after that she refused to eat, like the horse literally developed an eating disorder. There's a blind girl that they bully in another one I think. Horseland had a lot of toxicity between the characters
Surprised nobody yet has made any comparisons to that old Struts line, a line of horses that kinda teetered on being fashion dolls with their dresses and detachable heels, which coincidentally also had the same one leg articulation style
I feel that you can watch bluey without being ''part of the problem'' ( for those who don't know, the blue fandom is being dubbed the new irony fandom, even tho it wasn't gotten that insane to me) as long as you don't beat up kids cuz you want to collect the bluey merg, you wouldn't be considered a... blue healer- I don't know what the bleed fandom calls thenselfs, I just watch the fucking show
*I feel that you can watch bluey without being ''part of the problem'"* IMO what needs to happen (nut just there, not just in the MLP franchise, but in many hobbies and fandoms beside that as well, or generally) is that more people need to not just focus on the people doing stupid shit, but also look at, and criticize those using said examples to generalize - as they are the ones who act like those people represent more than they do, who are people who arguably have the willpower (and free thinking) to knopw how to either call them out w/o throwing the good under the bus, or or know how to ask the right questions to figure out how to do that. Basically, people not questioning the "only X makes Y look Z" logic are a big part of the problem.
the mlp fim fandom came from 4chan, the Bluey fandom is coming from a lot of different demographics just enjoying the show. i don't think the fandoms are comparable at all, really also yeah the "beating up toddlers for Bluey merch" thing was just a joke
@@icebearlikestrains6238 I'm not sure I follow - the spark that started the fandom started from 4chan, but overall wouldn';t it be logical to say that the fandom grew, like with the Bluey fandom, freom a variety of places as well?

As someone who collects the toys they are actually super cute! And the best part is how incredibly soft their hair is. The quality of the accessories they come with is also a huge plus! For their cost and quality I’ve really enjoyed them!
I actually really like the show. I know it's very juvenile but I love the art style. It's been nice seeing cartoon horses who actually look like horses and have proper snouts. I just hope I can buy the toys in Australia someday.
@bugginonthewallDon’t say that. I am still working on it, and since I want to spend a lot of time on it to make it as unironically good as I can, then it’s still possible that they might beat me to the punch.
I personally love Wild Manes, the toys have some neat articulation and the show is comfy, slice of life fun. The songs released so far slap! I don’t consider it trying to compete with MLP (especially since MLP is the juggernaut of the fashion horse toy market) nor a ripoff. 9-year old me thought the same thing about Horseland (another horse show I still love to this day), so WM ends up giving me some nostalgic vibes. My favorites are Cocoa, Finley, Candi, Cheri, and Perla, they all have such lovely designs and I love their interactions together! I definitely won’t deny that Cocoa telling the story at the beginning of each episode is redundant.
I tried to get into G5 for MLP but the biggest problem with it is that it refuses to branch off from the previous generation and become its own thing. Having the story take place many years after the finale of G4 is fine and all, but when you end up screwing up/disregarding so much continuity on top of dragging the story on for so long it made a lot of long time fans who I'm still friends with lose interest. If you want a better continuation of G5 i just recommend picking up the IDW Comic line. It has its own issues with pacing but it tells a much better version story than the G5 show ever could.
i honestly think you shouldnt care so much of other's negative opinions or any stigma and give bluey a chance. It is just a genuinely well made and comforting show
Personally I found Cocoa's whole fourth wall breaking thing to get old pretty quickly and I would prefer that the story is told as it's happening instead of always being "it all started when xyz". I also wish they would put much more focus on the other characters instead of Cocoa always being the center of attention. I get she's the main character or whatever but cmon. Also as someone who enjoys G5 its quite refreshing to see someone express disliking it in a much more respectful way, I can't say the same thing about the rest of the community though. Turns out we can like and dislike things without putting others down for liking those things. Also Pearla looks like Hatsune Miku.
To be honest, it would be interesting to see MLP have genuine competition, maybe one day the fans will create their own mlp esque shows & games Plus the wild manes toys arent too shabby, seems like a pretty solid first wave.
0:19 OMG OMG, THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING THIS IMAGE!! I used to have the first book and for the life of me I couldn't remember what it was called. I was just thinking about it the other day. :3
i love the silly humor in this show tbh, and the character designs are really cute! like others have said, it's nice that they actually resemble horses more than MLP usually does the toys also look like really good quality, they've got articulated legs which is pretty cool and look true to the character designs it feels like the creators are putting a lot of energy into this show and i'm pretty excited to see where it goes! it's weird and silly and very fun to watch
To be fair, TYT and Wild Manes are two of the first professional made-for-RUclips cartoon series, and they are still experimenting, trying to figure out the basics like pacing and storytelling 5 minutes at a time. By contrast, FiM was the culmination of decades of fine tuning 30 minute cartoons for linear television.
5-minute webisodes for RUclips remind me of the 5-minute episodes of shows aired between longer programs on blocks like PBSKids or TVOKids Its definitely possible to tell a well-paced little story in that timeframe, but like you said, they're still getting used to it
When I saw the title of this video, I thought you were going to hate on Wild Manes and I was about to be shocked and a little angry, given your support of G3. But I'm glad to see you giving it a chance. I personally really enjoy it. It's a comfort show in the way it feels like it would fit perfectly alongside shows from the 2003-2008 era, like Strawberry Shortcake, Care Bears, Horseland, and of course G3 MLP. And I for one, love that. It's nostalgic even though it's brand new, and I've been wishing so hard to see shows appear that make that happen. Not everything has to try to live up to G4 or have dozens of villains to be enjoyable. That's what G3 haters tend to not get. Sometimes, I just want to watch cute characters have fun and live life, where the worst of the problems is a minor disagreement with your friend that gets worked out in the end. A world I can wish I lived in. High stakes aren't very meaningful when you don't have an emotional connection to the world and its characters in the first place. Side note: I don't think they're trying to leech off the popularity of G5. Quite the opposite I believe. I think they know that G5 is absolute corporate slop, and that fans of MLP (ESPECIALLY of older generations) recognize that MLP has strayed way too far from what made it special and are craving something better. There are a lot of bronies hating on Wild Manes for all the same reasons they slam G3. But with the fans of G3 and older generations, it's being greatly admired. It feels like the people who created this show actually have a heart for it.
The animation wasn’t as bad as I was expecting, I definitely think some younger viewers could find some enjoyment from it! I don’t think I’d be too disappointed watching some of this with my cousins or something, it might not be something I’d watch by myself though.
Watching Shunks for months, suddenly seeing my friend's animation used in one of the videos and then finding out from them you went to school together all this time was a wild fucking ride to have today.
4:00 OKAY HOLD UP that is a jaquin, I only know about them from Elena of Avalor tbh (which I definitely watched and was obsessed with when I was 26 so no shade about ponies in this space). I don't really know the irl lore about jaquin, but I hope that helps. :>
Personally i think the show is cute and substantially better than tell your tale and make you mark. The character design's are really cute in my opinion and i love the more natural look to their coat!(P.S shunks should totally make a video that dives into mlps character rigs! I would definitely watch a video like that!)
I think that wild manes actually has potential! As long as they don't put any stupid magic plot that comes out of nowhere, we'll be fine :> (also am now shipping coco and cheri-)
I actually really, REALLY love the look of this show. I like how the horses are designed in a semi-realistic way, and how it isn't that basic 'cartoony' design so many shows seems to have these days (such as the new Strawberry Shortcake, MLP TYT, and you know what I'm including All Engines Go because the way the engines can jump annoys me) but it's own clear artstyle. It's somehow both classic yet modern
oooo child me would've LOVED the posable legs actually, i was always bothered by how stiff the toys were :c actually kinda want to get into this now, it may be slop but it can be MY slop
yeah i cant speak for all Horse Kids personally but i second the 'whoa i can move that!!' bit wouldve had me go nuts about it when i was little and it's like, an actual play feature a kid would use instead of obnoxious stuff that only looks good on the box and would only impede play
Love the video, didn't expect it!! also, you didn't mention how there's a Roblox Wild Manes game! recently they gave away a UGC of Cocoa's mane, you get it for free when reaching friendship 5 with the main horses- it's all fetch quests, collecting and cooking, very grindy, but okay. + you get to customize your own horse in a very basic way :P
You know, given how all these shows love the horseshoe motif and a horseshoe vaguely looking like the Warhammer Ultramarines logo, I'm surprised no one has thought to redub MLP or other horse shows but the characters talk like Ultramarines. They be like "SISTER! I NEED NEW DRESS FOR THE BATTLE PROM! THE HERETICS WILL WEEP BEFORE ITS MAGNIFICENCE!"
I personally really like how the animation makes the characters look a lot more like actual horses, rather than whatever G5 did. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not that I don’t like G5, I just think they went a bit too far trying to make their heads and faces look more human-like. Some of them have strange jaw lines that someone would never think a horse would have, but I’ll let it pass since it’s just a kids’ cartoon anyways.
Oh man this would've been my thing as a kid. I actually played with MLP toys way back in the G2 era and these remind me a lot of those toys, having proportions closer to actual horses (instead of the cat-like anatomy of G4) and cool little playsets. I haven't watched the show at all but hearing your dissection of it has been really interesting. I'm glad this show exists for kids who are like I was.
The evil Alicorn Opaline was already killed and now this Cat villain is skulking and seeking a way to find her evil brother. However im not sure Hasbro didnt cancel Season 2 to prepare for that Cutie Mark Camp G6 leak
Wild Manes looks really neat, and I love the character designs. Bailey reminds me of G3 Sunny Daze. I would love a MLP reboot that has the ORIGINAL six ponies [Blue Belle, Cotton Candy, Minty, Snuzzle, Butterscotch, and Blossom] as the main characters. Have them be different types of ponies not just in the usual sense [unicorn, flutter pony, Pegasus, etc...] but also in the sense of different horse breeds [Shetland ponies, Welsh ponies, British Spotted Ponies, Basuto ponies, Batak ponies, heck even base some off of extinct species]. It'd be neat to see it combine the best elements of each MLP generation, while learning to avoid the worst. Bringing back more obscure villains like Lavan would be cool, and there could also be chill episodes as well for balance. I'm curious and at the same time worried about the potential G6. It could be good, but at the same time could also be bad.
It's too bad that you don't enjoy G5, as many, many other people haven't either. To explain the cat, this is Allura, who was introduced in Secrets of Starlight. What her "deal" is isn't exactly clear, and it's likely we may never get an answer to that given how G5 will reach cancellation in October! But from what we know, she's of a species of winged snow leopards, being one of the last of her kind, alongside her brother who she can only communicate with telepathically. Alongside a rabbit she befriended, Twitch, she has been looking for any means to get back to her home using a gem called the Nova Charm. Only problem: upon taking over Starlight Ridge and claiming their symbol of leadership, she was unaware that she had the Nova Charm in her own paws, and so she fruitlessly mindraped the citizens into snagging stars from the sky with their magic. And eventually, upon following the Mane Six after they saved Starlight Ridge from her control, she's now stuck in Equestria, without a way to get home. And that's all because the Mane Six held onto the Nova Charm for travelling, and because the Nova Charm has a mind of its own as it destroyed itself to lend Izzy the power to rediscover her creative side by bringing life back to an abandoned boardwalk amusement park. It sounds like an absolute mess, but if you were willing to give the series another chance, try to look at the narrative for what it is, then maybe it'll make sense.
@@isopodchan87 Yes. Yes, I do. It's the TV Tropes version of it, as it's aggressive mind control. Albeit defeatable through being far away enough or being hit by water-based substances.
To put it another way, she is/was the next main villain of Make Your Mark after Opaline was defeated. However she was introduced when Make Your Mark had already been canceled, and now Tell Your Tale also seems to be nearing its end, so it seems unlikely her story will reach any kind of conclusion.
@@Daedelean Make Your Mark wasn't cancelled. It was set to only have six chapters at the time, and Secrets of Starlight was meant as a setup for Tell Your Tale Season 2. Unfortunately, Tell Your Tale is being cancelled by October, likely due to financial problems, as well as just how much hatred G5 has gotten (To the point where some of its staff have been harassed and sent death threats.). As a result, while we might some more to the story before the series unceremoniously concludes, we're likely going to be left out from the entirety of the writers'' intended vision.
I still believe that the faces of the characters in *My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic* are still horse-like, albeit shorter for the majority of them, my idea is that evolution offers an interesting in-universe explanation. I enjoy *Wild Manes* for several reasons: 1. It represents the Gen 5 we should have had. To me, the Gen 5 we received is non-canonical, the art isn’t appealing, and the humor has fart jokes from one episode from what I heard. So far, wild manes i is not like that 2. It successfully captures nostalgia while introducing something new. It feels reminiscent of early 2000s shows. 3. Visually, it is as appealing as Generation 4. In my opinion, *Wild Manes* is the true Gen 5 of *My Little Pony*, not *Tell Your Tale* or whatever it's called. My only wish is that *Wild Manes* has longer episodes, a proper opening theme song, and potentially includes magical creatures and horses, as well as male characters, to help flesh out the world. Also, no one is neurodivergent, nor idk how to spell it; it's just funny, haha; cartoon stuff is not that deep. Also, coco does not have a crush on Candi it is just friendship not everything has to be gay or divergent
I'm insane thinking someone is going to get a reference to a moment in a single pewdiepie video from 10 years ago in which a youtuber everyone has already forgotten about had his name badly mispronounced by a fiver account
im not even gonna lie this show seems actually really cute even with all its flaws. I hope it's given the resources to be able to fulfill more of the potential that it has... but i dont even know lmao. I actually really like candi's design
I LOVE the toy dolls that are coming from this show as a Horse person its great to have a fashion doll type toy in a horse form! Yes I liked G4 but as a child and as an adult I never saw them as Horse toys. The MLP FIM art style is great but unlike past generations I struggled to really see them as horses or horse toys! and I don't like the G5 art style...SO as a Horse person I am so happy to have a Horse fashion type doll toy! As for the show idk if I'm gonna watch it or not but I do love that its in 2D and the animations at least from what I can see are slower paced than a lot of 3D shows which is good for children shows that are to faced paced cause over stimulation is children. I do really like the colour pallets and designs its not a show that hurts my eyes. And I hope this franchise has a successful life I know I will buy some of the dolls! :D
I've never heard of Wild Manes before, so when I read the title, I was disappointed that it wasn't legit brainrot like content farms, something similar to Cocomelon or an unironic equivalent of that FNAF video "Look at you! Look at the sigmas you've become! Look at how L rizz you are! How Skibidi Toilet you are! You are woke, among sussy soyjacks! I gave you gyatts in Ohio!" Also, it's fine if you don't want to watch Bluey, but the whole "I don't want to be part of the problem" reason is really stupid and, as another comment said, close-minded. It's a vocal minority that people try to pretend is the majority and spreading videos to give this impression to cash in on it. You could say the same thing about MLP. I'm not saying the show is a masterpiece, but I don't want this to become an IP that goes through a "Voldemort phase" as I'll call it, where any single mention of that IP, regardless of context, causes people to lose their shit... _again._
Yeah the vocal minority having a magnifying lens put on them to make it look bigger than they are is stupid. I said it in another thread on here but there has to be an end to i"m ironically liking this thing look at how weird I and or the fandom is" self deprecation has to end if peeps just want to enjoy things
i love the design/art style with them being more horse like but not being ugly. an i kinda like that they have more natural coat colours but still colourfull manes
Wild Manes getting some longer length episodes seeking to try G3's thing in a way could be pretty fun, that whole low on plot high on vibes thing is what me and my youngest sister got into MLP with, although we were also suckers for the generic cartoon shenanigans of G1, naturally :p
When I was a Horse Toy kid I would have liked the Wild Manes way more than the G5 stuff. I liked horses for looking like horses, not weird dog-marshmallow-demons. I like the realistic fur color with the colorful manes, and the cheeks, and proportions; kids *can*, in fact, appreciate subtlety. Biggest complaint from me for the designs would be the dog-shaped front limbs in the show and the constant of girls' shows: the same body shapes over and over and over. I'm a strong supporter of being able to tell characters apart from silhouette
I'll give them this I like the designs and the colours of the ponies, I think if I was the target age and audience for these i'd prefer to have toys of these ones than the current MLP toys
idk if someone else has pointed out, but in the defense of Candi, it doesnt actually look like she is really streaming, whenever it cuts to her phone pov on the moments you showed, there is no chat, no emojis nor an ui, only the little record button at the bottom, which makes me think (and i might be reading to much onto this) that Candi isnt a streamer and either 1. wants to be one and thats her way of practicing 2. is one but streams other stuff 3. she isnt one nor wants to be one and she is just making some sort of digital diary

The "Lion thing" you mentioned is actually a winged snow leapord and is thr new main villain of the seties since thry defeated Opaline, apparently.
I was just about to say that the Wild Manes horses reminded me of the ones from Horseland! :D
@@EllaMBV Oh wait…I think I do remember the characters being mean to each other…who was meaner, the horses or the girls?
Wild Manes is getting better and better with each episode and I love all their characters
Same!! I don’t get the hate. They are only a small community by they are doing so much! They are so supportive to all of their fans!
@@Angelandgrayson You got that right, the first time I saw Wild Manes I say “I love this already”
@@Angelandgraysonthey only get hate because bronies can't accept any other different horse show that is not from Hasbro.
as a horse girl, wild manes is NOT trynna be mlp 😭
Surprised nobody yet has made any comparisons to that old Struts line, a line of horses that kinda teetered on being fashion dolls with their dresses and detachable heels, which coincidentally also had the same one leg articulation style
Strutz did lean alot more into that Bratz stylization compared to WM
I saw someone compare them to struts in a wild mane toy review but I forget the channel oof
I feel that you can watch bluey without being ''part of the problem'' ( for those who don't know, the blue fandom is being dubbed the new irony fandom, even tho it wasn't gotten that insane to me) as long as you don't beat up kids cuz you want to collect the bluey merg, you wouldn't be considered a... blue healer- I don't know what the bleed fandom calls thenselfs, I just watch the fucking show
the dropkick a todler for bluey merch thing was a joke that people decided to take as fact for some reason but yeah i agree
*I feel that you can watch bluey without being ''part of the problem'"*
IMO what needs to happen (nut just there, not just in the MLP franchise, but in many hobbies and fandoms beside that as well, or generally) is that more people need to not just focus on the people doing stupid shit, but also look at, and criticize those using said examples to generalize - as they are the ones who act like those people represent more than they do, who are people who arguably have the willpower (and free thinking) to knopw how to either call them out w/o throwing the good under the bus, or or know how to ask the right questions to figure out how to do that.
Basically, people not questioning the "only X makes Y look Z" logic are a big part of the problem.
the mlp fim fandom came from 4chan, the Bluey fandom is coming from a lot of different demographics just enjoying the show. i don't think the fandoms are comparable at all, really
also yeah the "beating up toddlers for Bluey merch" thing was just a joke
@@icebearlikestrains6238 I'm not sure I follow - the spark that started the fandom started from 4chan, but overall wouldn';t it be logical to say that the fandom grew, like with the Bluey fandom, freom a variety of places as well?
@@icebearlikestrains6238 yea I agree also, the toddler getting dropkicked was supposed to be a joke too lol
I ACTUALLY REALLY LIKE WILD MANES IT'S SO SILLY AND STUPID I LOVE IT SO MUCH
Thank u again for throwing my cartoon pilot in here as an example of rig animation!!! Truly an honor my friend ,, and outstanding video essay as always :D
I want a freaking fantasy based horse show where theyre casting spells and lasers at eachother
Bluey is great I will not allow Bluey slander! I can’t stand with you on this one queen 😔 Bluey is some of the best children’s writing in the last 10 years and the animation is also impressive
Bluey animation is amazing, really?
@@Arbysroastbeefjuice
No, but the art direction absolutely is!
These bgs are delightful!
Yeah it’s a pretty looking show
I personally don't like it.
yeah, it's a decent show but it's not the only show like this!
@Mars-Teeny they don't even slander Bluey, they just said they haven't watched it and will not watch it because they don't want part of the fandom
All I'll say, Is that the only two things I like about Wild Manes, Is that while it isn't too different from mlp at the same time it also has it's own level of charm to it.
Bronies: making MLP their brainrot.
That MLP ripoff: making itself a brainrot for some kids and bronies.
Hasbro: not caring so much about MLP's dignity.
Good fans: moving on from all this madness.
Talk about degeneration. Bad job Hasbro, bronies and whatever company owns that MLP ripoff. You really messed up and maybe you don't even realize that. Screw this lack of quality and decency!
Candy’s design is so cute I’m losing it
As someone who collects the toys they are actually super cute! And the best part is how incredibly soft their hair is. The quality of the accessories they come with is also a huge plus! For their cost and quality I’ve really enjoyed them!
wild manes dolls are VERY nice quality and super affordable
Wild manes had somewhat Accurate portioned horses
Wild Manes gives me MLP G3 flashbacks... nostalgia hits like a brick. (Nostalgia for G3, not Wild Manes.)
samee, also idk what it is but it reminds me a bit of the horses in strawberry shortcake
I really hate "tell your tales" artstyle
It's so Eeeuugh
Yea same
All the characters look dead inside
I actually really like the show. I know it's very juvenile but I love the art style. It's been nice seeing cartoon horses who actually look like horses and have proper snouts. I just hope I can buy the toys in Australia someday.
Damn, we got My Little Skibidi before GTA6
This timeline is truly getting out of hand...
Perla’s mane looks like if Rarity’s mane and Hatsune Miku’s hair did a fusion dance to create it
I tried to get into G5 for MLP but the biggest problem with it is that it refuses to branch off from the previous generation and become its own thing.
To be honest, it would be interesting to see MLP have genuine competition, maybe one day the fans will create their own mlp esque shows & games
Plus the wild manes toys arent too shabby, seems like a pretty solid first wave.
0:19 OMG OMG, THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING THIS IMAGE!! I used to have the first book and for the life of me I couldn't remember what it was called. I was just thinking about it the other day. :3
i love the silly humor in this show tbh, and the character designs are really cute! like others have said, it's nice that they actually resemble horses more than MLP usually does
the toys also look like really good quality, they've got articulated legs which is pretty cool and look true to the character designs
it feels like the creators are putting a lot of energy into this show and i'm pretty excited to see where it goes! it's weird and silly and very fun to watch
5-minute webisodes for RUclips remind me of the 5-minute episodes of shows aired between longer programs on blocks like PBSKids or TVOKids
Its definitely possible to tell a well-paced little story in that timeframe, but like you said, they're still getting used to it
their designs are actually so much more appealing to me than the mlp g5 ones
Animation segment was really interesting, not so many critics review animation from professional standpoint
Yes Shunks is talking about MlP vs Wild Manes
Watching Shunks for months, suddenly seeing my friend's animation used in one of the videos and then finding out from them you went to school together all this time was a wild fucking ride to have today.
You're speaking to my SOUL! gLaaaaah!
Super interesting! I'd love to see more reviews of faux-pony stuff from you, honestly. I appreciate the insight on the differences and such!
I think that wild manes actually has potential!
As long as they don't put any stupid magic plot that comes out of nowhere, we'll be fine :>
(also am now shipping coco and cheri-)
The vibe kinda reminds me of Martha speaks! I cant explain it, but it really works well for a cute show!
It's somehow both classic yet modern
oooo child me would've LOVED the posable legs actually, i was always bothered by how stiff the toys were :c
actually kinda want to get into this now, it may be slop but it can be MY slop
yeah i cant speak for all Horse Kids personally but i second the 'whoa i can move that!!' bit wouldve had me go nuts about it when i was little and it's like, an actual play feature a kid would use instead of obnoxious stuff that only looks good on the box and would only impede play
Man your g6 leak video is gonna be absolute fire I just know it

"the fuck is this, this is a pencil. A fuckin pencil"
idk if i would sit down to watch it but i actually really like how the horses look
Wild Manes designs look much more like designs for main characters than whoever are the "Mane Five" of G5.
I actually... kinda like it.
Even if it's not Friendship is Magic or Equestria Girls.
Some of them have strange jaw lines that someone would never think a horse would have, but I’ll let it pass since it’s just a kids’ cartoon anyways.
watching wildmanes made me realize I'll never expierience again how mlp fim made me feel
4:25 What's holding up the front half of her body?
I love when horses get to actually look like horses instead of lookin lik my horse prince
You had me until you said "mindrape"
My brother in christ do you mean BRAINWASH??
I only watched MYM because I couldn't get into TYT and the nova star did WHAT 😭
TYT is such a fever dream xD
NOODLE-A-DOODLE MENTION!?!? I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT!!!
I can already feel it, it's gonna be one of those shows that starts off mediocre but kinda fun and turns into a masterpiece with an enormous fandom.
I like how wild their manes is everyone had crazy amount of manes .
I still believe that the faces of the characters in *My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic* are still horse-like, albeit shorter for the majority of them, my idea is that evolution offers an interesting in-universe explanation.
I enjoy *Wild Manes* for several reasons:
1. It represents the Gen 5 we should have had. To me, the Gen 5 we received is non-canonical, the art isn’t appealing, and the humor has fart jokes from one episode from what I heard. So far, wild manes i is not like that
Look, after G4 took the turn it did, I am _happy_ to have my dopey brainrot horses again.
Their heads and ears look kinda like how I (and I guess many) draw pony heads.
...Along comes Jack Spedicey 0:26
I'm insane thinking someone is going to get a reference to a moment in a single pewdiepie video from 10 years ago in which a youtuber everyone has already forgotten about had his name badly mispronounced by a fiver account
I immediately got the reference lmao 😂
The current main villain in G5 is a snow leopard, because she has ice powers.
im not even gonna lie this show seems actually really cute even with all its flaws.
We got a paranoid Nero divergent pony before GTA 6
happy big chungus my fanoms! skibidi toilet rizz party
I love rigged animation
EXACTLY I MISS MY OLD CAST!!! THE NEW CAST IS BLAND, UGLY, FLAVOURLESS, OFF COLORED
I can't believe gen4/mlp fim is 10 years old or so.
14 years old as we speak
MLP for the brainrot generation and it isn't Horse Friends tells me that I need to work harder.
Honestly, the dolls are gorgeous.
i love the design/art style with them being more horse like but not being ugly. an i kinda like that they have more natural coat colours but still colourfull manes
I will say the horses in wild manes do have magic. it was in one episode
i do think the wild manes girls are cute; the snouts are appealing and cute
I actually like their hair ngl, still love MLP but it's pretty nice.
Oh I love the toys and their designs. Anything to wipe my eyes from g5 mlp
idk if someone else has pointed out, but in the defense of Candi, it doesnt actually look like she is really streaming, whenever it cuts to her phone pov on the moments you showed, there is no chat, no emojis nor an ui, only the little record button at the bottom, which makes me think (and i might be reading to much onto this) that Candi isnt a streamer and either 1. wants to be one and thats her way of practicing 2. is one but streams other stuff 3. she isnt one nor wants to be one and she is just making some sort of digital diary
3:46 I hadn’t noticed that either in the trailers. Maybe it’s also an competitor with My Little Pony Tales.
