Colorado paying all $35M 2021 salary, $15M in 2021 If Arenado doesn't opt out after 2022, COL will send STL the remaining $20M to be paid out $4M each of 2023-2027 If Arenado does opt out after 2021/2022, COL will pay Arenado the $20M directly That’s from spotrac. Seems like it’s not the $10 million. The bulk that they’ll pay has already passed. Now it’s more minimal.
These three are idiots that aren't paying attention to the details, while Arenado has 74 million left on his contract, 10 of that is being paid by the Colorado Rockies, the deal with Houston had the Cardinals paying $15 million on that contract, which left Houston the amount of 3 years 49 million. That is very affordable for someone of Nolan Arenado stature, look for the Cardinals over the coming weeks to increase that 15 million up to $20 or $25, and they will find a team that is interested in Nolan for 3 years at 39 million. Book it
If the Cardinals would take Taylor & Muncy, and I don't know why, I'd do it if I was the Dodgers. But the Dodgers have a 3rd baseman in their sights for the following year in Makamura from Japan, so no. reason to assume Arrenado's contact for 3 years. Taylor & Muncy's contracts I believe are up after this season.
3:00.. Hey Harold was it in the best interest of the teams to give such a bad long term contract. but its the teams fault for offering such a contract. so isnt it the players fault for declining the trade. wasnt it the player that was in favor of a trade.
Arenado was not the person that wanted the trade. Fans have idiotically made this so twisted. The Cardinals ASKED him if they could trade him because the team wanted to go younger, he said he’d consider it in specific circumstances. NEVER did Arenado ask for that. Never.
Heyyyy it's Airplane Morosi 😂 and no nobody wants Arenado hes on the downtrend of his baseball career, maybe 5 or 7 years ago he would have been a hot commodity, but everyone knows how the Cardinals have nosedived ever since Molina retired
Never thought this arenado thing would drag out this long- it would have been a great reunion with him going to the Yankees playing with Goldy.
What point was Harold trying to make about Nolan ? Am I missing something or was he just rambling
He was just rambling.
Just rambling like he always does
Colorado is paying 10 mil of that and, the cardinals will throw in millions. 74mil is not the number his new team will have to pay.

Is Reynolds _literally_ the dumbest person in baseball media, or does it just seem like it because he’s on more frequently than Jim Bowden?
My option only after he excised his right to Veto the trade to the Astros he would be stuck in St Louis.
He will be stuck in st Louis
No contender wants this guy, unless he can prove he's a good hitter this season.
And, if he’s a good hitter this season, every contender will want him, making it a lot easier for the Cardinals to trade him.
Exactly
Needs to be in a better lineup with protection. Hard to hit surrounded by an old guy and scrubs.

Ok Mr President of Operations
@@josecampos5358r u mad or something lol? Dude makes a great point he’s a gold glover and better than any Yankee or dodger 3rd baseman
The prospect value would be key here. I can bet Cardinals asking at least 2 mid tier prospect in return.
@@Alchemist718the Yankees are not trading for him 😂
@@Alchemist718 good
He should've opted out... Now he's stuck.
Yep he's stuck in good ol st louie 😆😂🤣
If money is the main issue, then wouldn’t Arenado cost less than Bregman?
Dodgers...
Frasier, Taylor, Muncy for Arenado.
Nah the Dodgers want young talent with a bright promising future not a guy who's washed sorry just the truth GO DODGERS 🏆 WS CHAMPS BABY
Agreed!! Dodgers please trade for Arenado🙏

Lol
@@MP-gk7ljIf Muncy got hurt, then the Dodgers might call.

@@Samir-3737I stated he was in favor of a trade. In order to be in favor of something, you have to be approached by another party first.
I guess that Arenado lost his welcome mat in St Louis
The Yankees will grab him if they can agree on a package.

He’s washed and no team wants him. Saved you 8 minutes
💯
Who cares if it's awkward lmfao I'm playing if they're oaying me almost 25 million a year when I'm worth nowhere near that number lol
Dude should retire
Overpriced, underperformed.
