My daughter is now 5 months and most of the tips in this video are very helpful. I also ran these ideas to her pediatrician and he said self soothing can be helpful and healthy for babies at least 5 months and older and giving me the green light. I would encourage any parent to talk with their pediatrician before trying it.
Self soothing is very good.. But as a parent we should be alert to see if baby is soothing himself or getting more uneasy with the method..I accidentally tried let my baby self sooth at 2 months and he slept really calm and full than me putting him to sleep..m definitely trying this out at his 6 months.. untill then i will continue cuddling and caring
Right haha I thought I understood and then I didn't. Maybe she's saying it doesn't work for all babies? Like she didn't know her 2 month old was too young but for him it still worked and for her 6 month old she needs different tips and that's why she is watching this video but will continue to comfort him until she finds what works for her 6m old?
(Self soothe = how to be indifferent in a civilized manner) babies are babies until the grow up. What's so wrong in letting them have the comfort which last so short 🌸🌸🤔🤔
Why?? Its just a phase . within a time span they will grow and will never be in our arms again and in the end we will cherish the time spent with them for our life time .
Because independence is extremely important. Even if you don’t rock them when they get older it’s a cognitive issue. Check out the Montessori method of raising a child. It’s life changing.
That’s time span is too big. My LO is about to turn 4, it’s 3 AM in the morning and she’s woken up and is clinging to her mom but can’t sleep. And is crying like hell. Reason? Mommy daughter have been sleeping like this since the day she’s born, wrapped in each other’s arms.
i don’t have any kids or no baby expert but I don’t recommend the self soothe method when they’re newborns. I recommend when they’re maybe a year old. It’s better than the crying it out method.
If you end up having a baby and it wakes up every 30-60 mins during the night for a whole year (because it can't self soothe) then I think you might change your current opinion/belief.

I’ve got a crying baby and now I have to dedicate the time to “read” a “video”
For real, if I wanted to read I wouldn't be using RUclips to find information
😂

This is confusing.what?

Thank for this. This is the first time I didn’t have to rock my baby to sleep
How long should a baby cry ? And how many nights does. This methods takes

We need sleep

This video would of been great if it had voice!!!
Putting a baby down drowsy... Ha. Does this actually work for anyone's baby? My boy proceeds to scream his head off if I try this at 4 months
Same. Did he learn to self soothe?
It says everything apart from how to self sooth a baby
I really want a little brother or sister instead I got a big boss or sister and an okay brother I’m single so they have there own house

i feel like babies aren't meant to self-soothe... They're babies.. not adults...
I think self-soothe and routine contradict
Alright let them cry every night.
It can start at three months actually.
Wrong baby should be sleeping through in it’s own room from six weeks old
@dota lagi What do you mean why. By six weeks old baby has no reason to be awake through the night
@dota lagi what difference does it make
@dota lagi because they need to know that their room/cot is where they sleep NOT in the parents room and bed
@dota lagi yep you teach them right from day one
Easy. You IGNORE it until it shuts up.
You’re not a parent, are you?
