comparing Ark animated series to Edgerunners..... the hell is wrong with you... one is a master piece and one of the best story telling experience and depressing piece I have seen in a long time.... the other is well Ark standard. but I don't think Ark will really recover from this tbh, WC have constantly lost goodwill and anyone who still supports them is kind of looking through rose tinted glasses. Ark has always been badly optimized, but after locking official and reselling you the exact same thing but with shiny baubles.... oh wait its not the same because you are missing half of the maps and being released on a schedule which they never keep and always delay.... and the game is un-optimized so some people can play well while others cannot. honestly I am amazed by how many people keep backing them up YT creators included as this is obviously a pretty scummy company and practice.
lol ya they are not really comparable other than what was expected to happen. Wildcard put together a huge group of talent and big names that had to be costly. Its to bad it wasn't better and on a better streaming platform. Fallout and Cyber punk brought in a ton of new players to their games. Had Ark the animated series done so we might have a different game right? right?....
its a prediction based on their past behaviors and it doesn't take much for players to prevent this outcome. If it never happens great it will be my first prediction about ark to not come true though. Personally, I hope it doesn't but there is money sitting in ASE and they are going to be looking for a way to tap into that.
@@CamwayGaming honestly I don't think they ever would remove it from Steam, on the off chance someone buys it they get money from it. WC has already removed all upkeep from ASE, so its just free money if someone buys it.
@@allytank-itykitty7417 Ya they wont remove it from steam but if they ever feel they want to push more people into ASA they can drop an update that will break all the mods and or save files. A less likely option would be to remove the matchmaking / server part of ASE so its only single player. I have never seen or heard of Snail selling any of their games but I guess its possible especially since its a public traded company now if they file for bankruptcy they may have to sell pieces off.
