    Finally, we managed to convert him to time from launch fuse gang

    I only started using timed fuses when I was building for Menti's latest Battleship Brawl, its just so nice to be able to do at least some damage on a miss.

      That is very true!

      I made a frag doomcram that uses a timed fuse to explode about 0.1 seconds before it would hit, and has a 5 degree fragmentation cone. it works really well against ships heading directly towards or away from it, because it will destroy everything in the fragmentation cone with 172 fragments. the reload time is about 10 minutes before its fully packed, but the ability to aim for approximately where ammo or very important internal components are and just make a massive hole al the way through that section of something is really neat, and probably wouldn't be possible without the timed fuse and laser targeter.

    The studio looks cool. The only work around I can think of for your shirt is to make your key colour blue and use a blue screen over a green screen. But then you're then restricted on blues.

      Thanks mate, well actually my blue shirt is hard because it also gets mixed in with green screen somehow
      So it might not work

  • @dripwastaken7884

    The only downside that time from launch has is that enemies that go forwards and backwards relative to your position will trick the fuse to explode way too early or way too late (only if the target changes its direction within the time that the cram has been shot

    • @GMODISM
      @GMODISM  Месяц назад

      Yeah that is true, but on the other hand crams vs diving bombers and atackrun airships seems like a bad idea alltogether

    When enemy is hard to detect or moves too fast your AI might blow the shell too early or too late. Time from impact is more reliable, unless you're shooting at planes or something, which means you're probably using CRAMs wrong anyway.

    • @dragonmasterlangeweg7625
      @dragonmasterlangeweg7625 Месяц назад

      i don't know, i made a pretty effective cram cwis that might be a more wrong way to use crams. to me, aa with crams seems pretty reasonable. timed fuse and frag with a 180 degree fragmentation angle and a lot of frag pellets and compacters might make a pretty good aa cram cannon.

    • @WretchedEgg528
      @WretchedEgg528 Месяц назад

      @@dragonmasterlangeweg7625 i prefer diff guns. They're smaller, cheaper, aim faster. The only downside is the reload time, but since they're so cheap and small you can just place more of them.

    • @GMODISM
      @GMODISM  Месяц назад +1

      As from testing in the gimle battles I have found that the crams have too many near misses due to it’s inherited inaccuracy, thus timed fuses always do some damage, against other big ships they will never be agile or fast enough to make this a problem though

      Dif guns are great but they unfortunately lag too much at huge scales

    i kinda like frag with a low angle that explode before impact with this method. they kinda work even if they get destroyed. and they are a bit better vs faster targets, not great but crams need any help they can get in that regard 😆

    • @GMODISM
      @GMODISM  Месяц назад

      I feel too much damage is lost from my tests doing airburst crams, but it is an interresting concept for AA cram systems

    • @Khotetsu
      @Khotetsu Месяц назад

      I was thinking about this recently as an idea with indirect-fire crams. That way, the fragments would be potentially coming in straight down onto the deck/roof of turrets, stripping off sensors across a wide area of a ship and possibly penetrating down into turret wells and effectively "coring" out a weapon vertically instead of passing through a handful of important blocks horizontally.

    • @GMODISM
      @GMODISM  Месяц назад +1

      @@Khotetsu this tactic is well done with vlm cluster missiles with frag, radar seekers spread out all over, but it’s not as good as one would want in my test, also adding emp may help to delete detection

  • @Wesrets

    We all know that hollow point is the best...

  • @dripwastaken7884
    @dripwastaken7884 Месяц назад +1

    Time from lauch fire cram is really bad, fire ONLY works on direct detonation if theres even 1 meter of air it will act like it missed

    • @dripwastaken7884
      @dripwastaken7884 Месяц назад

      So the only fuses that would reliably work are hollow point and pen depth. (Not shure if hollow point will kill the burning blocks and delete the fire tho)

    Could you set up bread to mess with the laser range finders offset time? IIRC you can read the enemy's material value so you could do something like +0.01 second fuse per 100,000 material value so as ships get bigger and more expensive the fuse penetrates deeper?
