Fabulous advice, I've had my dog since 2020 and we're still working on this stuff, never ending.

I started getting better when I watched you do this in a carpark.
You have helped me so much.

@@jacobmorgan3120 Last year I think it was Jacob and you were working with a young dog if I remember right .
After watching you I stopped avoiding everything and I started finding my confidence in myself again.
I still have a few issues that I don't understand but I have had so much to work out and understand.
      Thank you 👍

Im going to teach my dog the switch sides next time I walk her. I usually just indicate a side and let her go around behind me but moving around in front is much better.

The retriever is desperate to go with the class instuctor lol, he really likes working with him 😂

I dont like the "compel with leash" thing (I can see this turn into dragging your dog by the neck), but I do really like the way you teach "lets go" - reward as you are moving away, great idea! Surprisingly I've never actually seen this before and I've seen loads of trainers teach a U turn.

You know I’ve tried this, but my dog is overstimulated and when I turn around to go the other way many times like you’re doing it just am up more. I need to calm him down. I probably need to do some leash pressure on the wall in the house alone. What are your thoughts on that?
