I'm really sorry but, to be completely honest, I don't remember. I was using my Axe Fx II... :( but I can't help you more than this... really sorry. I don't even think I still have the patch...

Probably the best interpretation of the Gilmour sound I’ve heard. Would love to know your methods/recipe creating this. I currently use the Axe FX2XL and really struggle to get that Gilmour cluck/clang from my candy Apple strat. Well done and congrats on the sound!!! Very impressive.

Would you recommend Axe FX3 or the Amplitube + T-racks5 + iRig solution for home playing through studio monitors?
Can you create the same tones on both?
Hi Simon. I'm using them both and I would recommend them both, but of course they are very different products for different "budgets". The Axe Fx is easier if you also like playing live and using the same tone. iRig is extremely light, and practical, but the Axe is Amazing, and gives you more tone options.

What effects did you use on axe fx for that clicky clanky tone
I don't use or have an axe fx, but use similar pedals to what Gilmour used for the pulse cd recording (which is what this is from). I can get close using boss cs 2 compressor, mxr dyna comp, and tube driver with gain set at 1. Tube driver eq will depend on your amp but for me its treble 7 and lo 4 (these are the exact same settings as mentioned on Kit Rae's tone building site for the tube driver #1). I think the clicky clanky tone you're referring to is a combination of the compression and the gain from the tube driver. I also have EMG pickups with the mid boost (spc) set around 4-5. None of the sites i have seen refer to this version of the recording which is the pulse CD (not the DVD). Usually they mention a higher gain setting stacked with a cornish soft sustain (ss2) which i believe is better representative of the DVD recording.
Probably more information than you cared to know, i might be off, but i think the compression and the lo gain tube driver is most of it. Edo nailed the tone in this recording to the CD version.
I guess it’s just the sound of the pickups. That’s a very standard Fender Amp with a Tube driver in front of it and Compressor.
