FYI this mixer is Traktor Scratch certified as of Traktor Pro 2.11.3. The news focused on Pioneer's DJM series but I think it's of greater significance that you can get a good analog mixer with an interface for $50 more than Pioneer's DJM 250 mk2 (also Traktor Scratch Certified. All you need is an X1!
Can i use the internal soundcard to record audio straight into my laptop. So use the USB as an output from my mixer to my laptop? Does the record (phono out) out use the internal soundcard or does it come straight from the audio. Im not using any software, just a pair of pioneer cdj 900's. I'm having problems with crap audio quality when recording a mix and want a decent mixer that can directly be plugged into my laptop through usb with good quality audio. Or it it better buying an external soundcard like the focusrite scarlett 2i2 to get good audio quality with a mixer without an internal soundcard.
If I connect this to Traktor, can I mix with A & B decks playing songs and a deck C playing remix sets without it being connected to any of the 2 channel's eq/volume faders directly connected to master out? Thanks
hi, got a question, is it posible to use two inputs for dvs (like input 1 and 3) and and two (input 2 and 4) for regular inputs like clasic audio source?
Any one modded one with switches to negate the dismantling to switch between dvs and vynil? I would imagine it would only take 2 x 2 post switches fitted in the jumper wires mounted someware available on rear/side/front/bottom of unit?
I asked A&H about this - they say it's no problem switching between DVS and vinyl (no dismantling required), just up/down relevant channel gain - there's also a detailed Reddit thread about this
+Tomasz Leszczuk Well, its a pretty basic mixer, so I didn't go really in depth with showing it in action. Check my 43c review... I believe I did more with that one...
I have two small request. Can you please do a video of the importance of Dj espeacially mobile dj's having insurance. My second request is more of a question to you. Do you have any input on the alto stealth.
DJ PROD!GY Thanks for the requests... I will thinka bout the insurance question as you are the first and only person to ask about it. I have not used the Alto Stealth, but from what I saw at the DJ Expo, they work quite well.
opening up mixer and attaching wires to activate dvs, minor gripe!!!!!!! plus u gotta add the k1 or 2 to control the software, too much to go thru when u could just buy an all n one or an external interface.
Crap that there's no split cue. Crap that the gains on phono inputs are shite. Crap that the channel faders suddenly got shorter. Crap that the channels share the same meter as the main mix. Just crap really. Other than that it's not crap.

Is this mixer compatible with Serato will it work with Serato?
Can this Xone 23c mixer be used as a "controller" llike the American Audiio MXR10?
Not really no... The faders may pass MIDI info, but I'm not sure. Check the Xone website for details.

can the faders and knobs be used as midi control in ableton?
No it cannot...
hi! what about sound card quality? can you compared this and Traktor audio sound cards 6,10 ??
Hey, does the soundcard of the 23c allow internal recording in traktor? Because this is not possible with the xone 23 + Traktor Audio 2. Thanks!
+Robert van Santen Not sure.... I dont have it anymore to confirm.

Yes, you can do that...
hello you ask a question, signal levels that are at the center of xone 23c are the master output?
Yes, correct.
hi, got a question, is it posible to use two inputs for dvs (like input 1 and 3) and and two (input 2 and 4) for regular inputs like clasic audio source?
You can use two inputs for DVS and two for other sources, yes...
