Good tool for electricians that don’t do much electrical work . Lol . Pretty much sums up every multitool out there .
I struggled to find the right way to put that. 🤣
Pretty sure Victorinox uses 4116 Krupp steel which is a decent stainless steel but they run it soft so edge retention sucks . My favorite SAK is the one handed trekker and it’s smaller version the hiker because they have that nice philips screwdriver .

I have 4 SAK's and a Gerber multi tool and I don't use any of them. I carry an esee 4 or esee xancudo and although I don't use them much while I'm out, they're all I need. Yes they're more expensive than those, but they're something I already have also. But.. If I had to pick between those I'd have to go with the leatherman, just for the fact if I need pliers to work on the car or need to tighten a bolt on something.
Also, I uninstalled my ig a while back, so if you've messaged me, I haven't gotten it.

I replaced my multi tool in my car with a pair of pliers and a screwdriver. I find most of the tools and multi tools as well as Swiss Army knives useless. I always have a knife on me and that’s about all I need. I learned this from my father-in-law. He’s a farmer in Oklahoma. I he has a holster with a pair of pliers and a pocket knife on him at all times.

I've never seen him once carry a multitool
I EDC a Leatherman Wave and use the pliers probably at least every other day around the house. Heck, even the other tools on it get used all the heccin time. It's right there on my belt so I don't have to walk to the garage or to my shop for whatever tool. I carry a four-way water key in my pack, so THERE.
Carry whatever works for whatever pronouns you be that day 😂
Agreed and good man on the water key! I don't find myself using the pliers on the skeletool (the wave is a different beast) cuz I usually have pliers nearby and I'm usually in the shop but the SAK has been a good lil buddy so far. I want to start reviewing more multitools in the future too. Lot to be said about those things. Appreciate the feedback! 🍻
Nice vid! How did you choose these particular gladiators for the coliseum? I wonder what you would think of a Leatherman wingman or sidekick vs this Victorinox. I EDCed the wingman for a while and liked the included tools.
Honestly in my day to day life I’m taken care of by the Leatherman micra on my keychain. If I’m at home or work I have a real pair of scissors or screw driver in a drawer nearby.
Basically, I had been using both for awhile then the SAK just sort of took over. Felt like the vid to make. 🤣
