Funfact: The contingency is called Agamemnon, based on a Greek emperor whose life was basically defined by treachery and heinous crime. Basically Batman acknowledges that in spite of everything, this is a betrayal of people he cares about
Actually, it's "Agamemmno." Agamemmno was a villain from a storyline called "The Silver Age" written by Mark Waid, wherein a group of villains switched bodies with the Justice League with Agamemmno's help and proceeded to try to take over the world. This story was followed up on in Waid's next story with the Justice League- The Tower of Babel, of which the Doom movie was based. In it, it was revealed that after the Agemammno incident, Batman created the contingency plans to disable the Justice League, which were stolen by Ra's Al Ghul to disable the League in his bid to depopulate the Earth.
@@RDMacQ To be fair, Agamemno and his origin story are almost certainly inspired by the Agamemnon in Greek myth (not to mention the similarity in their names). Before the events in with the JL, Agamemno's own subjects attempted to assassinate him, which indirectly led to him discovering Earth, and then near the end of his arc he was betrayed again by Lex Luthor. Definitely a connection between the two Agamemies. So technically you are both right.
@@RDMacQ You’re correct! ALSO, Agamemno and these characters were written based on the king who started the Aegean wars where the Greeks fought each other to unify on the one leader, Agamemnon himself.
@Kowl Yeah and as Flashpoint Paradox and Flash War have shown paralysis really isn't cutting it for a contingency plan. Tbf even Batman himself sounds unsure of this method so I think it's fair to say that he needs to review that contingency plan so that it works for both Barry and Wally (although I don't know how you'd effectively incapacitate Wally considering he's covered up all his weaknesses, while he maybe brings too much to the table to deal with like his ability to time and dimension travel at will). Also Green Arrow has been able to fight without arms before so Batman's contingency plan is faulty in the case of this one. Although tbf Green Arrow is still human like Batman himself.
I mean...he's right. It's a good idea to try and play on batman emotional trauma, but it's also a very dangerous thing to toy with. Cuz we've seen that the people who try playing on it who werent fast enough to take him down, ended up with some of the worst punishments he can dish out
Yeah, but it's really an empty threat. Batman doesn't kill and supposedly avoids permanent injuries. So, there's nothing to fear really for a hardy villian.
@@Volodymyr.Yermakov That's true for a Batman who's still in a sound state of mind. But the one thing that Batman truly fears however, is going through the trauma of losing his family again. The "Bat-family" is the closest thing he has, and if he's driven to a desperate point where he has to choose between saving their lives, and killing the villain... I'm pretty sure he won't fail his family a 2nd time.
Well... the contingency for the Flash was awful. Paralysis? He can pass through solid objects, no way you paralyze him. Use extreme cold, it would be much more effective.
@@AysaMetric On the contrary. Flash's ability to vibrate through objects is exactly what Batman is counting on. If you read the comic these plans come from, Batman made a special Bullet that vibrates in a way that would lodge into Flash when he tried to vibrate through it and paralyze him. Hitting Flash is nearly impossible. He's literally faster than anything you can imagine, but if you abuse him being cocky enough to let you hit him, he'll go down pretty easily. Like how Superman just lets bullets bounce off of him because he's used to them not being able to hurt him.
*"No way you paralize The Flash."* - got shot by bullets/arrows - having a bomb on his wrist - Superman broke his leg - get caught by a sticky thing that Zoom used I don't think there is no way to paralize him. It wouldn’t kill manhunter he’s not weak to fire physically just psychologically if he’s set on fire he can heal himself and theoretically burn forever or until he gets tired
Reminds me of Jamm in the Drawfee video where they draw DC heroes they've never heard of. (Be warned, their interpretation of Jamm can never be unseen.)
Yeah his plan for himself really doesn't make sense. But that might be because the other members of the Justice League can already overpower him though

Fun fact: in the DCeased storyline, it turns out that Green Arrow wasn’t part of the Contingency Plans, causing Oliver to get pretty salty. This implies that Batman can just whoop his ass the old school way if he turned evil.

Agememnon Contingency. Code Name: Conquerer. Nolan Grayson, better known as Omni-Man is a formidable opponent, rivaling the strength, speed, and endurance of Superman. But although he does not share the same Kryptonian weakness to Kryptonite, he does have an easily exploitable weakness. This would with brief exposure allow for others to incapacitate him and with longer exposure this would likely be fatal. The sound frequencies found in Black Canary's recordings of her own screams played at higher volumes would likely work for this.

One of my favorite parts about Batman’s contingency plans is that they are constant works in progress (for many of them, he says that further research is required). This means that even with how busy Batman is with issues spanning from small crimes in Gotham to the potentially intergalactic threats that the Justice League fights, Batman is still putting considerable amounts of time (constantly) into figuring out and researching ways to take down his friends. He’s likely even taking copious mental notes on every move they make (and their strengths, weaknesses, motivations, etc…) while he’s fighting enemies alongside them.
He also has to keep up on his training and combat drills, and he has to maintain a multi-billion dollar company, also also he has to maintain a social life as Bruce Wayne
Batman holds his own as a member of the justice league because of his vast intellect and attention to detail. He puts his brilliance to work through planning and testing. Agamemnon Contingency File code name: Jolly Green The Incredible Hulk, the so called “Strongest there is.” While we should count ourselves lucky that Doctor Bruce Banner has an understanding with his alter ego, the past has shown that given the right circumstances, Hulk poses the greatest threat his world and perhaps the universe has ever known. And yet, even for him, there exist a few blinds spots that can be exploited. The alloys Adamantium and Vibranium for example have been proven strong enough to cut through even the Hulk’s steel like skin, as evidenced by his battles with the Wolverine and Black Panther. It would be easy enough to acquire either of those alloys and construct a suit able to combat him and deliver a fatal blow. For a more non lethal pacification, it’s been shown that mood control can easily stop the Hulk’s seemingly endless rage. Making him happy would have him revert to Bruce Banner in almost a minute. And one thing that makes Hulk happy is... wait.... puppies? That’s.... odd.
While I get that Batman is attempting to decipher his own weaknesses, his plan for himself is still a bit arrogant. He’s assuming that he would still care about innocent victims, or his friends for that matter.

Where he more so starts killing and becomes unhinged but still more or elss prioritizes others. That and he does mention his parents and generally is saying ‘use past trauma and psychological issues against me.’
It's not really arrogance when he just said that he's human. Do anything that can incapacitate a human. Does that have to be listed out? Like maybe, shoot them with a gun, give them food poisoning, laser their face off, slice them in half, trap them in a construct, shoot them with arrows, fucking run at them head on at light speed, shoot them with missiles, scream so loudly their heads explode etc. The list goes on.
Exactly, his limp plan for himself is bull. He still paints himself as just in the scenario he turns evil. He doesn't mention specific codes for his cave, flaws in his gadgets, or any way his tactics could be turned against him. He just gives the line "Well, I'm only human so that's enough weakness for you." And for the fans who keep saying "Well his plan is the league." That's bullshit too. How in the hell can the league win against Batman if he decides to go evil when he literally has plans designed to take them out? We've seen Batman's plans taken to lethal extremes in tower of babel when villains used them, and we've seen TBWL basically destroy countless universes all because he has plans to kill the heroes. Funfact: The contingency is called Agamemnon, based on a Greek emperor whose life was basically defined by treachery and heinous crime. Basically Batman acknowledges that in spite of everything, this is a betrayal of people he cares about
I thought it was because it's in case any of the heroes betrays the league, as in these would br the plans againstpotential traitors.
Double meaning, then.

@Kowl
Yeah and as Flashpoint Paradox and Flash War have shown paralysis really isn't cutting it for a contingency plan.
If he's not paying attention you could get him.

Yea like he breaks the fourth wall when he says that.

On the contrary.

Viltrumite's share a common weakness within the inner ear that makes them highly susceptible to high frequency sounds emitted into their upper ear canal.
Whoever wrote this dialougue deserves some credit. They could've just written Batman as cold and calculating. But instead they have Batman apologizing for whomever finds this recording and referring to fellow Leaguers as his friends. It really shows that Batman views his plans a deeply regrettable necessity.
Indeed. You can hear his fondness for his teammates coming through. Like his feelings for Diana - he refers to her by her name instead of her title.
When making the plans for himself if he were to somehow turn, you can just hear how disheartened Batman feels when declaring “he is only human”. Kevin Conroy did an excellent job showing Batman’s inner feelings while making these plans

Iron man is an incredibly versatile combatant, his suits and their countless configurations and weaponry make him highly resourceful, and extremely dangerous.
His intelligence is also to be considered, being able to adapt and create his strategies on a dime.
But he is far from invincible, apart from being particularly arrogant, his suits are weak against certain technological devices, an EMP can disable his suit and render him motionless, or with the help of an advanced virus, cause his armor's internal systems to malfunction, providing several weak spots.
But this contingency could be rendered ineffective, knowing he's constantly enhancing and upgrading his suits, as well as creating new ones, he may have found a way to counter the effects of the weapons that i've listed.
Further observation pending.

*Agaememnon contingency-File code name: Along came the Spider*
Spider man is know for his simple yet powerfull abilities , as well as his compasion and humerous nature, but he has been shown to be extremly aggresive in personal matters, leading him to commit violent acts, and one can only hope he never comes in contact with his "black suit" once more, but if any of the former occasions ever come to pass, it's mandatory that i make this.
While incredibly usefull for protection aganist unknown attacks and hidden adversaries , his "spider sense" as he deems it , can be tricked to not detect threats, and if done properly , make him sense danger where there is none. I've created a toxic gas that, once inhaled, will lower his speed and reflexes, and hopefully disable his spider senses by making it feel as if there was an incoming danger in every direction. And once his web shooters are disabled, being his only means for escape, he can be quickly dispatched.

The plan for green lantern is the most complex one. For all other members, their specific set of powers and weaknesses are already known, making it much more easier to prepare a contingency plan. In the case of a lantern,it is impossible to anticipate what a construct would be like,as the possibilities are endless. Lantern can also attack with literally anything in the known universe and multiverse alike. Not to mention the ring provides an automatic defense shield without the wearer's willpower. Green lantern has always been underrated.
But Ben 10 can beat him
Extreme Enigma uh but some of them are really predictable though if you know them well enough. hal’s constructs are very typical and the most predictable as he himself says he goes for the simple stuff to get the job done. guy is quite predictable too. kyle is the most unpredictable to me imo. he’s an artist and never likes using the same construct twice

Shazam, although a recent addition to the core of the League, has proven to be one of the League's heaviest hitters, and if he goes rogue, may become a frequent and devastating enemy. The Rock of Eternity, being the origin of his, and Black Adam's power, would make a possible target, but a last resort. His physical appearance mimics that of Superman's build, but it is his mannerisms and maturity that give away his biggest factor about his identity; his real age. Billy Batson, a 12 year old boy living in a foster home, despite having the Wisdom of Solomon, has yet to be humbled by the League's entire roster, at most. Should he go rogue, like Batman, hostages will be a great distraction, especially if they are his foster family. If forced into a hand-to-hand, the Justice Buster suit will be able to restrain him until he willingly calls out the phrase that reverts him to his real identity.
Note: Negotiate with Deadman to possess his body so Billy Batson is incapacitated, as a last resort when non-magical means are insufficient.

Much like in subduing Zatanna a well timed blow to the trachea should keep him from speaking. Otherwise Zatanna would be an excellent choice due to her in magical prowess to incapacitate Constantine."
Sadly would not work. Constantine does not need magic words. He has innate abilities and an arsenal of magical artifacts, as well as access to dark arcana that would likely be impossible for Batman to counter because he does not understand it.
Constantine would possibly be the hardest case for Batman to trap without killing him. Zatanna's magic can counter his, and being former lovers, she would likely be a soft spot for him, but even then, Constantine has dealt with other magic users his whole life, and fought Zatanna specifically before.
Constantine caused three demons to fight over his soul when he was dying, they formed a truce and decided to save his life in order to avoid bloodshed.

His flight capabilities are hard to counter in high-altitude areas, and his speed makes him a formidable opponent at close range. Further research into multidirectional frequency emitters is required.
@@Adam-nz3ix In a realistic sense it's hard to do that, due to the requirement of insane velocity (which is needed to make sure the acceleration of the affected body a.k.a Omni Man increases drastically upon impact) for a body-covering beam to create a force strong enough to simulate high gravity 🤔

The Incredible Hulk, the so called “Strongest there is.” While we should count ourselves lucky that Doctor Bruce Banner has an understanding with his alter ego, the past has shown that given the right circumstances, Hulk poses the greatest threat his world and perhaps the universe has ever known.
And one thing that makes Hulk happy is... wait.... puppies? That’s.... odd.
"Think carefully before you do this." So don't do it, got it Batman. 👌🏾
While I get that Batman is attempting to decipher his own weaknesses, his plan for himself is still a bit arrogant. He’s assuming that he would still care about innocent victims, or his friends for that matter.
gatorsrule90 but he also mentions his parents. I think that’s one thing what will always get to him
Because look at superman
If he has to save two people at the same time he could do it with ease
Same with diana and flash
However batman can't do this and must make a choice or get alfred to do it for him which is very unlikely to do in time
gatorsrule90 mhm. I think his own contingency is more so under the assumption that he steps too far into ‘red hood’ territory.
Batman needs to acknowledge that he's just as much of a threat to the world as the other league members and take precautions for that, otherwise he comes off as arrogant.
This's what makes BATMAN the GREATEST SUPER HERO OF ALL TIME.
One of the greatest.
