The movie was very enjoyable, and it's very understandable how all the events of a person's life could not be included unless one wished to create a 4 to 6 hour movie marathon. As it was, I was impressed by how closely events of her life were adhered to.
Thank you! Although I absolutely adore the movie Miss Potter, I learned of its many inaccuracies after reading about Beatrix Potter's life. The movie is highly romanticized, and a lot of what's in it simply doesn't reflect what actually happened, in terms of HOW it happened. The devil is in the details, as they say. Still, even after learning in greater depth how Beatrix's life actually unfolded, I confess that I still adore the movie.
Thank you for tis interesting presentation and the research you undertook. The way you speak does not, in my opinion, not make the most of your voice; both in terms of intonation or pitch. Possibly you could work on your intonation a little avoiding the peaks of ig notes and spacing your sentences. This is not intended to be disrespectful in any way.
The film isn't completely accurate but succeeds in communicating the difficulties she overcame. In the spirit of accuracy the nanny was Scottish, scotch is a drink. Many of the comments were inaccurate and I disliked the modern cartoons. To be fair I think I was incredibly irritated by your voice so rapidly lost interest in correcting omissions etc.
well researched video very good -- ---- if interested her house is definetely worth a visit its a lovely area (looked after by national trust heritage charity) also her london family house site ... she was unusual both writing and illustrating dissecting animals herself so as to understand the biology anatomy an exceptional savvy business women in an age when men dominated one of the founding patrons of englands largest heritage charity one of the first in the world to understand merchandising of her characters farmer and landowner and took an active interest ........ her biography is worth reading various exist ....... some details are changed but the film was done with sensitivity ... tick this video ..... London - The address of Potter's house was 2 Bolton Gardens. From Londonist: She was born here and "Beatrix lived in the house until her marriage in 1913. The Potter family sold the house in 1924, and it was later destroyed in the WW2 Blitz bombing." It is now a private young children school ..... but not far from south kensington station.
In the movie of miss potter she didnt know about the death and funeral till too late where she was there for the funeral but didnt go but sketched his bedroom instead
Sorry to say Ma,am I could hardly understand a word you are saying all in one tone and high pitched ,with words running into each other . Not easy to read out but please speak much much much slower and more defining in your words .However thank you for your efforts very kind of you .
There is no inconsistency with her preserving animals - especially bugs, or with her butchering pigs. That doesn't mean she didn't love animals. She wasn't like the modern day animal rights activists. You can love animals and still understand that we do eat some of them. Its part of life.
How nice for her that her tendency toward being an overachiever wasn’t thought to be bad. As in today’s society, if you work hard and achieve great things, you’re consider a thief of the lazy and a stealer of wealth. Instead of the overachiever that you are.
Quick question:- where do the terms 'puddleduck', 'cottontail', etc originate? You'll find that her 'genius' was in plagiarising folktales from the Black slave experience in the old American South. Has this been publicly acknowledged and credited by the Potter society and avid readers.

Tha Tale Of Beatrix Potter, 1983 is a great movie.
Voice over is way too annoying. Disappointed, I would have liked to have watched this

Did you mean a hedgehog? Not a porcupines?
She isn’t the brightest.
So from what I was hearing; I am guesstimating:65% accuracy for the overall history and 35% inaccuracy for the finer details.
In the movie of miss potter she didnt know about the death and funeral till too late where she was there for the funeral but didnt go but sketched his bedroom instead
Well made and I can understand the story line
What's with that voice

Subtitles are also available!
Nope, sorry. The narration is too annoying.
Not sure about Victoria women of a certain class being bored, but whomever narrated this short film has one of the most boring voices I’ve ever heard!
Great video!!
Thanks so much!
Bad Sound.

A porcupine? you mean a hedgehog. They don't reside in the USA, but you could find the info in her stories...
Well good for her!

Please tell me that a robot is narrating, not a real person? So unnatural, so annoying! Awful.
Was it really necessary to insert the Donald Trump caricature? You really should have inserted Brooklyn Beckham or Hailey Baldwin Bieber.
Please tell me that this is narrated by a robot! It’s so unnatural and so annoying. Who speaks like that? Awful.
Whiny, sing-songy voice.
Iwish you well, however your presentation is flat😮
