Easily one of my all time favorite Pantera cuts. Regular People deploys everything you want and expect from Pantera. Intense heavy power grooving intro. Impeccable pulsating delivery throughout. Incendiary towering performance from only 3 instruments and a vocalist. Phil slides on the verses with lyrics from his concerned misanthropic mind, into a soaring memorable chorus. Dimebag treats us to one of his amazing double solos while Vinnie and Rex Thunder away underneath with that signature deep grooving back beat. Amazing song
For sure. All of Pantera's non music video songs are underappreciated on reaction channels. I wish people would stop just requesting the same shit over and over.
This is when Pantera became the badass band everybody wanted and loved. This album is fire from start to finish. Between 1992 - 1998 Pantera were the best metal band on the planet.
I love the "you ain't got the balls, son." in this song. It always makes me happy. You should try Mouth for War, A New Level and I'm Broken for your gym playlist.
Thank you for reacting to the song. Just had a day to sit down and catch up. Good to see a wide variety of reactions and seeing the channel grow more. Keep it up
Pantera truly captured magic in 1992 w/ 'Vulgar display of power'... their 2nd major label record after 4 indie albums and 1 explosive major label album 'Cowboys from hell' in 1990... Instead of trying to appeal to a commercial audience like Metallica or Megadeth... Pantera got even heavier and more brutal w/ 'Vulgar display of power'... and even more brutal w/ 'Far beyond driven' in 1994 (which went to #1 in the US) The genius of Dimebag Darrell is on full display on "Regular people (conceit)" ...but Pantera never performed it live (something about the guitar effects being difficult to replicate live in time...) ... Dimebag and vocalist Phil Anselmo shared a unique songwriting chemistry and that could not be replicated when Dimebag and drummer Vinnie Paul formed Damageplan in 2004. (Late) Drummer Vinnie Paul (Dimebag's brother) was instrumental in helping arrange the riffs that Dimebag Darrell was conjuring up and was invaluable as a co-producer... Vinnie and bassist Rex Brown gave Pantera the groove that was undeniable. There would not be Pantera without the 4 members.
This band was amazing but lasted too short, the sad passing of both Dimebag and Vinnie put a nail in the coffin. On top of that Phil's voice is fucked up due to his lifestyle. But man they produced some amazing songs in their time.
I wish Bobby would have picked a better song. There's 3 or 4 better ones on this album alone. Still props to him for getting more Pantera on the channel!
There is no bad song on this album. Dime and Vin kill this song. Rex is walking through the park on bass during the solo. The message lines up with the energy of the album. It's a great album top to bottom
The whole album is one of the greatest albums in metal history. Absolutely timeless
Mouth for War!!!!!
Might be my fav pantera song! Mouth for war rips
@@michaelmignone5869 Hell yeah, that’s the tune that got me into Pantera. 🔥🔥
It’s a must

Good timing! It’s Dime’s birthday. Wish he was still around.
This is my favorite track on the album, as a guitar player and fan of Dime, that riff, to me, is amazing!
A small note: today the 20:th is Dimebags birthday. RIP
Wow, strange coincidence we released it on his birthday because it was initially supposed to be released the day before but we switched last second 👀
@@barsandbarbells2022 Dime works in mysterious ways. 🤷🏼♂️😆
Been listening to this for 32 years and it never disappoints
This is Pantera's defining song. It's the best song they've ever written, and the ideal workout song
By Demon, Be Driven!!!! Next Pantera song please 🙏
My Fav Pantera song!
Thank you for reacting to the song. Just had a day to sit down and catch up. Good to see a wide variety of reactions and seeing the channel grow more. Keep it up
This album was my intro to Pantera, in high school go 90s, I could just put this in and play it straight through.
GREAT song choice, don't see many people listen to this one.
Their real dance song from this album is titled Fucking Hostile. It also one of their biggest encore songs at concerts.
Seen a few people call it out, have to reiterate, Mouth for War!

That whole album is a gem; some would say a masterpiece.
Next Pantera - strength beyond strenght
This album was life changing!
Watching Pantera open for Metallica next Friday! Can’t wait!
Saw them in a Ft. Worth bar called Joe's Garage. They were in an early stage - A 80's hair Metal Band then.
One of my old gym playlist favorites 🤘
Pantera is the perfect weight room music.
Love the riff from this chorus
The best to ever do it! Legends! 💯
Greatest heavy metal group of all fucking time. period
This is a great, deeper-cut from this album.
Great work guys. I recommend DISPOSABLE HEROES by METALLICA its a brilliant anti-war piece
Check out the whole catalog from Cowboys From Hell to Reinventing The Steel. You won’t be disappointed.
The song "No Good (Attack the Radical)" off this album is a must
Do you mean “No Good”??
@@briansmith3456 ah yes, I did mean "No Good (Attack the Radical)"
Yes indeed! Thanks for looking out
People who think this is just noise, cannot play an instrument? Wicked hard to make this sound? Which is to me Amazing!
Mouth for war, is by far the best tune on that album. 🔥🔥🤟
King of kings
Great reaction! Always loved this song, gotta do The Underground in America into Sandblasted Skin from The Great Southern Trendkill album. 🤘🏻👍🏻
Of this album walk !!!! Or attack the radical!
Rip Dime and Vinnie
People get hurt back in the day at their shows
Saw them in 91 with Suicidal and Exodus at Roseland in NYC
PANTERA + VAMPIRE? Try the song 'Avoid The Light', it's one of their last compositions, 💪🔥
🤘👍👍🤘ed
R.I.P Dimebag Aug.20 is his Birthday
Old school plenty of good tunes enjoy
Love the little lip curl! Good heavy metal should cause a facial expression that is almost pained.
War Nerve...should be our new national anthem.
Fucking goosebumps!
I just so happen to be wearing that shirt today
It’s there 2nd album
I always consider groove metal as music u find in a club and can dance to. This is something u can mash to not dance to:
Mouth For War. Video.
#CFH #GetchaPull #BlackTooth
Love your channel guys. Like and subscribe!
Do house of pain jump around
Good song but I’m more into the later harder stuff
Okay different album revolution is my name

Why is this not a UFC entrance song for someone?!
Can’t get anymore energy? Apparently you’ve never seen Pantera’s Domination video from 1991 in Moscow
I wish Bobby would have picked a better song. There's 3 or 4 better ones on this album alone. Still props to him for getting more Pantera on the channel!
every song is fire/hign level on this album
I would say Mouth For War is the only better song on this album.
There is no bad song on this album. Dime and Vin kill this song. Rex is walking through the park on bass during the solo. The message lines up with the energy of the album. It's a great album top to bottom
No way. This song is better then all the singles released
I'd rate him over both Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughn
Do not fuck with Phil. He will kill you.
The bloke in this combo is unbearable , she will leave you and do better.
I see not too many comments as most suscribers don't enjoy or listen to this.
“Most subs don’t enjoy or listen to this”
It’s ok, you can just be honest and say pussies don’t enjoy or listen to this.
